Excellent Spanish atmosphere, for those of us who love that great culture
Pretty Expensive for amount of food received. Single dish Paella not worth the price in quality and taste. My daughter’s dish was very good. I left $16 tip Glad we checked out the restaurant.
Esta buena la comidas pero lo veo muy carro para la comida
It was my sons Birthday so we wanted it to be special so we asked for a table in the front but they insisted on a table in a corner on the side behind others. So I had to stand to video and missed my son the whole time because the entertainment was on the other side. The entertainment was great and the best part was that she took my son out to dance, I’m glad we will have those memories. We gave her a huge tip for that. The food was awful, the tomato bread was wet and soggy, the octopus a la gallega was so hard and rubbery we couldn’t eat it. The chicken and lamb Paella was cold, rice was still uncooked and it was dry, we did not eat that either, but the lamb pieces were good. The Churrascos were ok, but the rice it came with had zero taste, the sangria was good as well. I think the food was very overpriced and not good at all, we spent 600.00 plus the tip. We will never eat there again. Sorry to say, this will not be a restaurant in our favorites list.
Accommodated a large group, excellent service and delicious food!
The food here is absolutely delicious! Definitely order from the tapas menu to have a variety of flavors. I loved the overall atmosphere of the restaurant, the service was quick and the servers were all very kind. We also stayed for the live flamenco dancing, which was really fun and a great way to end the evening! Can't wait to visit Tapa Toro again the next time I'm in Orlando!
Seatedk immediately upon arrival. Waitress was attentive but clearly overwhelmed.
Ordered the grilled octopus, was overcooked, paella with lobster, they forgot to add lobster and when they finally brought it out it was very small, covered in butter, totally not worth the add on. The sangria flight was ok, but watered down with way too much ice.
Our server was great. There was even a live traditional Spanish Dancer which was totally unexpected and amazing! We had our 3 year old with us and they were super wonderful to him. Highly recommend!
Wonderful meal, great ambiance, and friendly service. We had a really good time and hated to leave Orlando. Great location, too.
Although it is not a "favorite" on their menu, mine was the beef empanadas.
Me and my partner had a great time. Loved the food and drinks. Our server Maria was AMAZING! Got a good laugh with her and she made sure we were well taken care of! Definitely recommend going here for good food, and great ambiance.
Great food, great ambiance and great server, Daniella. I enjoyed my dinner
Excellent Happy Hour!
Fun place! Great food music ambiance. Love the decor as well. Had flamenco dancers when we went which was cool. Would def recommend!
Great spot for a date night! You get the hustle and bustle of Icon Park and a cute spot for dinner. The Flamenco dancing was really great and such a different piece of entertainment than you usually get. My husband has lots of food allergies and was able to eat here no problem.
Thanks so much for the great review! We're glad you enjoyed it and that your husband was satisfied with our allergen-friendly menu!
Food is good. Cocktails good as well. We shared a few tapas. Chorizo Dates, delicious yet not spicy. Lamb sliders, good but not amazing. Ceviche, very good. Calamari, good. Octopus, good flavor but a bit too chewy. We went in the middle of the day. Surrounding area is busy as it is where the Eye and other activities and restaurants are. Inside is nice, music is a bit to loud. Service was good and our server was friendly.
Thank you for the detailed review! We appreciate the 4 star rating.
It was our first time visiting and “The paella” was so bad, extremely salty to the point we weren’t able to eat absolutely nothing. My wife’s plate came out 17 minutes before mine. The waitress was embarrassed she kept apologizing we knew is not under her control of what happens in the kitchen and she knew we weren’t happy at all. So she voluntarily removed the paella’s from the ticket. The show was really good.
The only major issue I had was my child’s food was forgotten and he did not receive his meal until after the family was done eating. For my other child his fries came 10 minutes before his sliders so he had to eat his food separate. I think my server could not handle a busy holiday dinner. I did tell her my son has been wait 22 minutes for his CHICKEN TENDERS and that I was extremely pist off about this. Other than this it was good food and good ambiance.
Great service, wonderfully nice managers and staff. Thank you Jessie and Alex for being so accommodating!
Very expensive for the price. They were trying to sell a $75 bottle of liquor for $400 that’s ridiculous and the food wasn’t all that. I do not recommend this place
Great food, music and service!
We even got engaged there!!!
Had very nice experiences for New Year Eve. Food was good, but not great. Lobster was over cooked. Steak was tasty. Tapas were ok. Our waiter was very friendly and fast with our requests. Flamenco dancers were very professional and belly dancer was great! The DJ choice of music for New Year night should be better for sure. Overall had great time.
Food wss excellent, show was nice and service super nice
Fun experience but very touristy. Good service but food value and quality is poor.
This was the worse dinner experience ever. We went there for New Year’s Eve. They offered a special package that included a five course meal over three hours from 9-12 with a champagne toast to ring in the New Year. The noise level was so high it created a clubbing atmosphere instead of a restaurant. The place was packed. The dancers were beautiful but they were brought out too early in the evening just when the guests were still arriving and getting situated so there was a lot of chaos. The tapas were strewn on the tables when we arrived so this was two of the five courses that were served before we got there. It did not look appetizing. The salad was soggy. It look like it sat for a while. Before we could finish those two courses they brought the hot tapas. Before we could finish the hot tapas they brought the steak and lobster entrees. They never asked us how we wanted our steak. They tried to cram the entree plates on the table without clearing the previous three courses. We had to ask them to remove the finished plates so the entree could fit. The steak was over cooked and had no seasoning and no flavor; just a flavorless gravy thrown on top. The lobster was dry and rubbery like it was over cooked and sat. They brought the dessert and gave us our drink bill to pay at 10:15 so it seemed like we were being pushed out the door. What was supposed to be a five course meal spread out over the three hour evening, ending with champagne at midnight, ended up feeling a rushed meal so they could push us out the door and turn over tables. So something didn’t seem right about all of this. We felt so uncomfortable that we left at 10:30 and didn’t wait for the champagne toast. We saw many empty tables on our way out and a line of people waiting outside to come in. We wondered if the empty tables meant those guests felt the same way. This was nothing like the experience they presented. The total cost was $300; the cost for a 5 star experience at 1 star.
It was great to that we were seated as soon as we arrived to the rest
The service was awful but the food was great. It was slow so that is concerning given the service.
vegetarian paella not good
seafood paella, ceviche, flank and grill veggies very good
All of the food was cold, I had to ask 4 times for more water for an empty glass
Had a chance to enjoy their Christmas brunch. It was a great value, even the deserts were yummy. Food and service were on point. The spread was perfect. And the sangrias topped it off.
Food was good, paella was the best dish. We ate the brunch buffet The atmosphere was okay, wooden chairs and tables, not the most comfortable. Flamenco dancing was very entertaining.
Loud tapas joint, a family favorite for us.
Got way more right than wrong, and our server really came thru when the kitchen had issues.
Would consider returning.
Great food and lively ambiance. At first very loud music and flamenco dancing but later was turned down and could hear better. Nice dinner location at the ICON park.
Food was amazing. Dance show was fun and energetic.
Great way to celebrate our Christmas vacation! The food and service was WONDERFUL!
Awesome ! Espectacular
Comida maravillosa , ambiente alegre, show de bailadoras maravilloso ! Pedimos tapas y vinos , un empleado de la cocina se acercó y nos preguntó si queríamos probar la paella y fue una cortesía de la casa! Lo recomiendo ampliamente
I went with my husband, we sat at the bar, we were enjoy the preparation of the paellas, we loved the atmosphere, the “bailaoras” make a perfect show every half hour, wine and delicious tapas, a kindly kitchen employee offered us a plate of paella to try as a courtesy of the house, definitely a place to visit again and recommend, good prices! I recommend booking to avoid long waits
We were seated at the bar around the paella cooking area. Loved watching them make the huge pans of paella. Sangria was delicious. Charcuterie board, ham croquettes were very good. Mussels were not my favorite.
Loved the dancers. Overall a great night.
Thank you for the 4 stars, Sue! We hope to see you again soon at Tapa Toro!
Went out with my husband for date night and was pleasantly surprised to see my brother and his wife there too! The food was absolutely delicious, the ambiance was really nice and the Spanish dancing was a great touch for entertainment.
What a great surprise! We're so happy you had a great time with us, and we hope to see you again soon!
