The octopus tapas was seasoned veey well but was overcooked took some effort to chew
It was average. The server was good, but the food wasn’t the greatest. I’ve eaten at many tapas place like Jaleo by Jose Andres. That is a great restaurant, tapa toro was just ok. Also hard to find.
Terrible paella and over priced. Tight seating, terrible greaters at door, flamingo dancers danced 5 minutes and sat by small stage on cell phones. Overall, AVOID THIS PLACE!
Very good paella and grilled meats. Decent wine selection. Average value. Dancers are excellent but music is way too loud.
The food was delicious, the service was excellent and the entertainment was good.
Christmas Dinner with the family while we were in FL!
Paella was amazing and my son who is a picky eater even tried something new at the servers request! We were there as a family of 6 at 830pm on Christmas Day! Our server was patient and attentive despite the busy holiday!
Food was amazing!!!
Flamenco dancer was exciting and beautiful.
All and all a wonderful experience. Thank you for making our non-traditional holiday wonderful.
This was our Christmas Dinner. From the time the waitress introduced herself she said to "bear with her" because they were overwhelmed and they took in too many reservations. As warned, service was terrible.
Food was under seasoned (steak, chicken jerez, croquetas). The chicken jerez was so dry and bland that we sent it back. The meatballs tapa was flavorful but the meatballs were dry and tough. We ordered a tapa of jamon serrano and queso manchego, but the queso arrived 15 minutes after the jamon. My dad ordered papas with chorizo, but after several requests, it finally arrived 45 minutes later but they substituted the papas for french fries. The paellas were not good either- flavors were off.
The flamenco "show" was just 1 dancer who danced only 1 song once an hour on a tiny stage that we couldn't see from our table.
At the end of the dinner, the waitress thanked us over and over again for being so cool and patient with the bad service, but automatically added 20% tip anyway. Never coming back.
My family and I go out to dinner each Christmas Eve. This year we selected Tapas Toro because they had a special for Spanish Paella all you can eat and dessert. To our surprise, the Paella was only for chicken which was fine with us as long as it was a Paella. The Paella served lacked the main Paella ingredients including the chicken and the typical taste of Paella. The dessert was supposed to be a carrot cake and it looked and tasted more like a bread pudding than a carrot cake. There were not enough Waitresses so we had to difficulties getting the attention of the Waitress for refills, especially water. Bottom line, the food tasted and looked horrible and pricey. So wish, we would have selected another place where we would have been pleased with the food and the ambiance. My entire family of 6 adults, agreed that this place is overpriced and overrated. We walked away upset and disappointed about our Christmas Eve dinner.
Excellent food, fun atmosphere, flamenco dancers make it a great experience. Located right near the SeaLife aquarium. We had a reservation on Christmas eve, and it was a full house. Our server was friendly and efficient, there when we needed her, not there when we didn't. We ordered paella (which takes 40 minutes) and 2 tapas dishes to share while waiting. It was plenty for 4 people, and we didn't have enough room for dessert. We also had a pitcher of nice red Sangria to drink. We will be back when we are in Orlando again.
We loved the atmosphere. Was the best Paella I've had. Our server Bianca was great. And even though it was a very busy night (Christmas Eve) we did not feel rushed. Will definitely retutrn whenever we visit Orlando!
Good food, environment, staff and Natalia was an excellent server. Highly recommended.
Outstanding food and service, flamenco dancers excellent,
Top to bottom, everything was amazing. A little too loud for a first date.
My girlfriend and I recently had dinner and I have to say that the service was excellent, friendly and helpful, the food was amy
Had our yearly Secret Santa Office party there and it was amazing! Great food and drinks! The music was spot on and the flamenco dancer was very interactive and entertaining! Would go there again!
The food has good taste, but the seafood paella was so poor on the sea food that to paid $450.00, for two paellas, we all felt we were reaped off. The service was excellent.
Food very expensive, for the quality and quantity . I didn't like the dancer.
My fiance & I had the seafood paella for the first time, excellent! We will be coming back here when we come to Orlando in the spring.
Food was very good but the service was rushed . The noise level was outrageous, you can’t even hear the person across the table.
The staff is very friendly and flexible. They worked with me organizing a group dinner maintaining constant communication and realizing each of my requests.
Loved it and can't wait to go back. The Flamenco dancer was beautiful, the food outstanding, and the service prompt!
If I could suggest something would be that I would have loved to hear more Spanish music (e.g. Flamenco, classical Spanish guitar, etc.) as they mostly played salsa, merengue, cumbia, etc.
We have been there before and they did not disappoint it was delicious and our server Sydney was great
Flank steak was way too fatty and tough but the salad that came with it was amazing! Wait staff was great. Wine recommendations were spot on.
Tapa Toro was fantastic all around. The service was great. The food was amazing. We sat at the Paella bar and watched the paella being made. We shared a delicious pitcher of sangria and multiple tapas and the dessert trio. The Valencia cream and churros were particularly good. Wish We lived closer so we could enjoy more often!
Wonderful experience at Tapa Toro! Flamenco dancing was beautiful and exhilarating, food was outstanding and service exceptional. We visited twice in our 3 day vacation to Orlando. Highly recommend!
Service was bad, we had to track them down, for water, check and the dessert for a birthday person.
The ham croquettes and meatballs were salty. My server never offered refills on my soda. She took a long time to greet us and take our order.
Does the entree include bread? If yes, I never got mine. I f not, disregard this comment.
Recomiendo pulpo a la parrilla, muy bueno
Edgar and Amber were fabulous! The atmosphere was festive. Will definitely go again!
Love celebrating Birthdays here. It’s great for groups as you can share lots of items! Service is exceptional!!
Amazing customer service! Glad I chose this place to celebrate my husbands birthday.
Grilled octopus and the Iberico ham were outstanding, and Giannay server was lovely.
the octopus make my wife sick really bad, she finished in the hospital for intoxication!!
Food was okay, but have had better Spanish food elsewhere. Ambiance was fun, but very noisy.
We had a fun time and our server was very engaging. The live dancing every hour was an enjoyable addition. We sat in the front enclosed glass semi-circle and liked the feel of the room more than the larger back dining area. Food, wine and overall experience was a nice way to share the night with friends.
There were 3 of us and we just ordered a lot of tapas and shared them all. Most of the ones our server recommended were fabulous! Unfortunately there was a private party that booked the entire bar, so we couldnt sit there and instead were all jammed into the dining area. But, the food was good and we'd definitely eat there again!
Too noisy. Service poor, had to ask twice for cutlery, also slow in serving drinks. Over priced and over rated. Disappointed
Enjoyed the evening here. The food was delicious.
