Wonderful setting with a great menu of appetizers and entrees. Outstanding service with a smile.
Delicious food and excellent service! Restaurant was very clear and COVID safety was followed. We can't wait to return!
We dined in the tavern space...a cozy and comfortable setting. Menu offered several choices, however it is not a large menu. ( although this may be due to COVID circumstances). Service was very good. I did have a issue when I ordered salmon more well-done and it arrived close to half-cooked. Once I brought it to their attention, they resolved the matter quickly and took the cost of the entree off our check, which was appreciated.
We also had breakfast there the next morning; their French toast with fresh berries was excellent.
Very limited menu.
Went to celebrate a relative's Ninety Birthday. Called days ahead to reserve a specific table she wanted. Table was not available when we arrived. We waited awhile to be served as well. We noticed tables around us received entrees before we did.
Positive: the waitress did allow us to use a small cake we brought for relative w/candles.
Food was good, maybe kitchen was short staffed which we can understand, but was disappointed with table choice because we called days ahead for it. Taking the time to
call did not make a difference . Had planned to come back end of March for another relative's birthday but not sure yet.
Great food and service. All safety measures well in place!
Lunch was very good. Service was very good.
Well... it’s not the 1st time we have been to Tap Room as a family and we usually really enjoy it, but this time!!! Horrible!!! It started with the server letting us know that the grill wasn’t working and they will be serving the burgers fried?? My daughter and husband said they will still go for it and it was terrible! It took over 35 minutes to get a kid’s cheeseburger (which was like a hockey puck) , one adult cheeseburger medium rare (which was medium to well done) and one cheesesteak sandwich which u can see it sat under the warmer and it was all dry and hard to eat. Even the French fries were overly done and not seasoned.
I told my husband, it will take me some time to give it another try to this place. The bill was close to 100 for a mediocre lunch (better at five guys for 3 times less the cost). Plus they automatically add 20% gratuity which I get it but not when your food is bad and no one really cared as it was visible looking bad. The service was nice tho and they were constantly around for water and coffee. Plus the hotel looks so nice!
Beautiful hotel! Decorated for the holidays. Food was terrific. Will definitely come again.
Baby showet
Wonderful service. Knowledgeable staff Drink specials superb,
The room appears vast - but somehow gave a warm and cozy feeling. Food top notch...
Look forward to returning sometime very soon.....
It's the Hotel Bethlehem so you really can't go wrong. A little pricey for a salad ($17) but you can't beat the ambiance. Our server, Nina, was attentive; service was excellent
Great food and service. Highly recommended for special occasions and date night.
We went here for Valentine’s Day, it was wonderful. The food was delicious and we had amazing service.
We had never been to the Bethlehem hotel or even dined there, so we booked our reservation not knowing what we were getting into. We scored a prix fixe Valentine's Day reservation and we we were not disappointed. The shrimp cocktail was amazing and the foie gras was spectacular. Our entrees of halibut and duck were delicious and served up with beautiful accompaniments. The creme brulee was also perfection! The historic hotel is gorgeous, with marble staircases and moravian tilework flooring. Floor to ceiling windows span the terrace room and you can watch the sunset or the hustle and bustle of the street. The terrace room would be a beautiful place for a wedding!
The staff was friendly and attentive and management came around to insure everything was perfect. We will come again as this was the best meal we have had in a long time!
Hotel bar/restaurant with great food and good service.
This is a lovely venue, but has been using the same, short menu for a year now. Would be nice if some specials could be offered to make up for lack of menu options.
Always a great experience
Food was excellent (menu options were limited from designated selection) but service felt rushed. Understandable given COVID restrictions have devastated restaurants and the need to allow for others to have time out.
Valentine’s Day date. Service was strong, food was very good and the setting was beautiful. The only complaint is the lack of on-site parking (for hotel stays only) and the carrots in our meals were a bit undercooked. Filet was perfectly cooked, the drinks were made well and the desserts hit the mark.
Well we did make reservations to eat in 1741. But open table does not separate the 2 dining places anymore .
We sat in the tap room . Window view as I asked for .
Our service was spot on . Our valentines dinner was outstanding . Another wonderful evening at hotel Bethlehem. Thank you
Great food, Hotel Bethlehem is a can’t miss place. Staying here and enjoying the food and service is awesome
Hostess not very accommodating
Truly one of the most beautiful place in the Lehigh Valley!
The hotel was beautifully decorated, super clean and very conscious of covid protocol.
Made our first time back a positive experience. Enjoyed our Restaurant Week meal and cocktails.
Food was so so, you could tell that I was not fresh and prepared ahead of time. Not worth the money.
Amazing service, great food and very kind server!!! Loved and will go back soon to sit at the bar!!!!
Terrific location with classy ambience. Was an excellent date night (with my wife) and just perfect location. Handled all the COVID safety protocol effectively without negatively impacting the experience in any way. Service was impeccable.
Celebrating my ❤️ Birthday, Hotel Bethlehem never disappoints
It was beautiful. So happy we got to experience Christmas at the Hotel.
Food was excellent and the covid protection precautions were clearly evident - made us feel very safe for indoor dining - service was impeccable.
Food was delicious. It was for a birthday and the birthday boys dessert was a special gift from restaurant. That was a pleasant surprise. Atmosphere was really nice
You can't beat the ambience in the Tap Room. Our server was excellent as was my Moravian Manhattan. My only mild complaint was too much pepper in the soup and not enough dressing on the salad.
It's always a joy to experience the Tap Room in Hotel Bethlehem. Impeccable service, great care, delicious food and fun cocktails
This was a "ticketed" Christmas dinner that we had scheduled but it was cancelled due to Covid so it was rescheduled. They kept the holiday decor up which was absolutely amazing! It was beautifully decorated and so classy! I have never been there before so I was in awe! The hotel itself is classy and beautiful - our waitress was amazing - the food was delicious and the bar area here is great - I loved every feature of this place, atmosphere, ambience and food. If you have a chance to go - GO!
The service over all was great. Our waitress, Faith, was wonderful and breakfast was delicious!
Special occasions, breakfast with a close friend, holiday lunches...all end up having Hotel B as one of the choices!
We went for lunch. I enjoyed a ceasar salad, probably the best I ever had. It was such a simple dish, infused with so much flavor. The decor is very elegant but cozy. We will absolutely return.
Beautiful hotel, great atmosphere, great service and delicious food. I highly recommend the history Bethlehem Hotel.
