Server was outstanding, friendly and professional 10/10!!!!!!
Our experience was so poor, we had potstickers appetizers which tasted like pure lemon, we had a Caesar salad which is super simple but was completely underwhelming. After starting there we really questioned spending $40+ for an actual entree for dinner. Asking the server questions, has no idea how anything was prepared, everything was “I think it’s like this” “ not sure what type of potatoes but it comes with potatoes…some people get broccoli though..” There’s are his response? No knowledge of the menu, couldn’t tell us one single scotch on the bar list, I ordered a beer off the draft list, out of stock, ordered a second beer off the draft menu.. out of stock.. ask for a 3rd and heard the bartender tell him it’s also out but still brought a beer, which I knew wasn’t what I ordered.. took myself to the bar and confirmed with bartender what I order was out and he tried to give me something else without asking. Ordered soup that tasted like nothing, didn’t eat it .. server said soup isn’t good right? Took it away never offering something else, and still charged us. My husbands medium well burger came out medium rare bloody, but no one checked on us to even have it cooked more and he was starving. Very disappointed in our experience we were really looking forward to a special night together. If this server is new a manager should have been checking in on his tables to ensure proper service, and should not have been the Saturday night staff .
It was fabulous. The gentleman playing the piano was absolutely delightful. Our server was terrific and responsive. The drinks were amazing and the food was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend!
our waiter was AMAZING, wonderful man (: quite fun and very kind!!

A weekend of fantastic meals at Tap Room/1741 while staying the weekend at The Hotel Bethlehem. Service was excellent. Food was exceptional, delicious and with a nice presentation. Ambience was wonderful. Highly recommend.
It is always a great experience at the Hotel Bethlehem.
Very elegant, good service, great food, great views. Only reason for 4 stars rather than 5 is slightly limited menu- I’m sure because of Covid issues and staffing shortages. Great for a romantic dinner. Ask for Terrace Room rather than Tap room, altho both are very nice. Terrace Room more elegant.
Please update your menu, with a few more options.
The food was excellent. The servers were very sweet
Our waiter MJ was very nice and attentive. Food and drinks were excellent. Ambiance was perfect.
Service a little slow but good. Food was delicious.
Excellence in all aspects - first class experience.
I took my dear friend to lunch on her birthday. She loved the soup and beet salad she chose for her meal. We had a lovely time chatting over our lunches. The staff even surprised her with an ice cream! Very enjoyable!
Outstanding! Wonderful food, service & ambience - top shelf!
Good food, great service!
Beautiful hotel and restaurant, only lacking in the kitchen. My steak was rare/blue when I asked for medium. Also, they do not season the food, nor do they provide salt and pepper at the table. I would only recommend this restaurant for it’s historical significance and the ambiance of the dining room.
A bit pricey but worth it. Great food, service and setting in an old, elegant hotel.
Sat outside on a beautiful evening in September. The streets were busy but did not intrude on our dining experience.
Great lunch spot to get away from the robust main street crowd!
Good food and service, very nice setting,
We enjoyed a wonderful Anniversary Dinner. The food was excellent and served at correct temperature. Our waitress Donna could not have been nicer or efficient. We were never rushed and did not need to wait long when our food was ordered. The room was clean and had a comfortable level of noise. Not our first visit and definitly not our last.
Our server, Angel, was just that! Great service, friendly, and hospitable. Our food was amazing and the hostess was also very friendly. Always have a wonderful experience there!
I ordered the lobster roll. It was terrible. Dry and barely any lobster. Turned out it was the last of it. Tried another dish but it was not to my liking. I ate half of it. The waitress did the right thing and did not charge me for my meal. My daughters meal was great. I have been here before and is usually very good.
Great service, great food served quickly. It’s a pleasure staying here and eating here.
Very nice experience. Lots of historical charm. Would definitely visit again.
Are outside during musik fest service was poor , food was cold had yo ask for utensils and condiments. They should not offer outdoor service during busy events. The service was not up to the hotel standard. We made asked yo be seated inside and was told no. We asked yo be seated away from music snd was told no. So we took what was offered even though we had a reservation and other tables were open.
Food was good not great. Great location and friendly server. Would still return, just don’t think we’re running back.
Hotel is beautiful. Tap Room ambiance is beautiful. Food good. Definitely recommend.
Always enjoy the food, service and ambiance in this beautiful hotel. I've never had a bad experience here and I've been coming here for years.
Great lunch in a very grand old hotel. Thank you Hotel Bethlehem.
Food was great and staff were attentive. Added bonus music outside.
We always enjoy the Tap Room in Hotel Bethlehem. Cool and casual, with a terrific comfort food menu.
Outstanding service and great selection of food and drink.
Great service, food & ambiance!
Very nice experience last evening. New chef. We tried to the two fish specials and they were delicious. Very busy on a warm night and the staff was coping well with the rush. Every place is short staffed so extra patience goes a long way. The new chef has not changed the menu as of this writing but we’re looking forward to what is coming.
Our server Donna was informative and very professional. She explained the menu and specials. The food was very good and came out exactly as it should.
Wonderful experience. Would definitely recommend for a special occasion
Wonderful setting for lunch and brunch. Food and service were great! Highly recommend.
