Quality of the food seems to have gone down. Steak was tough and without much taste. Requested butter on the side but got mayonnaise instead. Service was horrible as we could not find our server. Could not rectify the side of butter issue or get the check 15 minutes after we were all done eating. Won't be back for a while.

Happy hour throughout restaurant. Nice beer selection. Great for family's booths are really large. TV's for sports visible everywhere. Food selection was good as well. Grandson ate the large cookie ice cream sandwich for dessert. It's his new favorite thing!

This a lively venue with an extensive beer and drinks list. The service is great every time we go. The restaurant called me to confirm our reservation and the host was very welcoming when we arrived. We let our wait person know we were heading to the theater, so service was prompt and we were able to settle our bill very efficiently and make it to our show with plenty of time to spare. Bottom line, we would go there again. The place also has party rooms for large groups if anyone is looking for a hopping downtown place to have fun.

Had theater tickets, and they were very accommodating. I loved the healthier choices that they had on the menu, I had the chicken with Brussels sprouts and sweet potato mash, husband had cedar plank salmon. Both were very good!

The burger was ok but the bun was too big for it and the bun fell apart as I ate the burger. Fries were good and their special ketchup was good.

They were out of many beers and gave multiple excuses. Talking 8 plus....that is odd for the type of place it is.

On this, my second visit, I chose the house corned-beef sandwich, which was pretty good. The first time I dropped in, totally on accident as I was strolling on 6th Avenue, I chose the pancetta and gorgonzola burger, which I like much better of these two. Oddly, their 160+ beers on tap are wasted on me as I don't care for beer. Therefore, it's lucky for me they have some very nice Washington State red wines to choose from. I plan to explore more of their menu and have some more wine. The large screen TVs are nice to have to catch up on sports news, too.

Food decent. Server delightful. Food turn around slow even though place quite empty. We got salads so am unclear why slow. Probably better for the beer drinking crowd?? Went for location and would try someplace else before returning.

Our experience was very slow. It was New Year's Eve at 7:30. We didn't even place a drink order until 8:00 and did t get our drink until almost 8:30. My food order was completely wrong and it took another half hour to get that. My husband order a cup of soup and never got it but he was completely finished with his meal by the time I got the correct meal. They did take $10 off my dinner, but it was ridiculously slow and our server was very inattentive. We both only had one drink due to that. The food was not bad I didn't get my food until almost 9:30 when our reservation was at 7:30. I do think I over heard a worker tell another table who was complaining about the same thing that our server was one of the newest employees, first as a manager don't blame the server, second if she is not up to par get her help and training don't make excuses and expect customers to excuse the slow service at your restaurant because she is new! We probably won't be going back.

We had a party of 8 for our daughter’s 21st birthday. The service was terrible, we had to go find someone after 30 minutes to bring us water and take our drink order. Drinks took 45 minutes to arrive, waitstaff was scarce, and there were open tables so they were not busy. Our meal took an unreasonably long time and appetizer plates remained on the table throughout the meal, no one ever cleared our table. We spent $450 that night and left very disappointed. We will never go back

We were out of town'rs visiting Seattle for a surprise birthday party. We chose this place as it was close to the Paramount. Our plan was to eat dinner and move on to the theater for an event. Reservations were made weeks in advance. The place was very busy and we were promptly seated. That is pretty much where the service ended. While there was plenty of drink/ beer selections, service was slow- both to take drink orders and return with them. It was OK, we had plenty of time. The menu was straight forward with the usual pub house food list. With Food orders taken, we waited. And waited. With food finally arriving all 6 of us dove in. My particular dish was a simple hamburger and fries. Hamburger was tough, tasted old and had way too much salt on it to eat for " hand pressed beef. " One third of the meal was eaten and rest left behind. Discussion with my party afterwards netted similar impressions. While this might have been a "one off event " (place looked extremely understaffed) first impressions make a statement. I probably will seek elsewhere on my next visit. No, I could not honestly recommend this place to friends for future visits- there was nothing to draw me back. I have eaten many places ( including all over the world) and very rarely have an experience such as this- even for a pub. As usual. your mileage may vary.

It was too loud to be enjoyable and the comfort food would have been great, except that every dish had some unique ingredient that made it just a little off.

I made the reservation about 4 days ahead of time. They seated our party in the small back room, right next to a large screen TV, even though there were open tables of the right size up front. Then they seated a large party with 6 very small children in the same room. The restaurant didn't provide any food or drink for the kids or anything for them to do. After about 45 minutes of near-constant kid screaming, the alcohol for the adults came out, still nothing for the children. In addition, the big screen TV was showing a kickboxing match. I found it annoying and asked 3 different servers to turn it off, which the manager eventually did (reluctantly). As soon as we left, the manager turned it back on, even though no one in the room had requested the TV and the kickboxing match was really not appropriate for such little kids. I understand that it was a busy evening, but if your restaurant is going to serve small children, then please do what other restaurants do: provide some crayons and paper, some pretzels or small food items, and bring their food first. Or put a cartoon on the TV. And if a patron goes to the trouble to make a reservation in advance, don't stick us in the back! Really a miserable experience for all.

Very crowded (Friday 6:30pm) but we had a reservation and we were seated promptly. We told our waitress that we were pressed for time (one hour until theater curtain time), and she responded graciously and made sure our order was expedited. Food (fish & chips, and grilled chicken sandwich) was excellent. Great selection of beers. Dramatic underground setting. Only complaint was noise level was too high for comfortable conversation, but everything else surpassed our expectations. We will come back for sure.

We enjoyed wonderful flatbread, salad, and beers. We crave IPA’s and found the variety there very satisfying. Wonderful service. Lots of TV’s and fun atmosphere to watch sports. Only complaint is a sound system that makes music sound like it’s coming out of an old transistor radio. Good choice of music but painful to listen to. Focus on the food, sports, and beer and all is good.

Just happened to find Tap House Grill while attending a conference in downtown Seattle. What a great find! Waitress was super helpful recommending beers for each of our tastes and with food recommendations. It was early on a Saturday evening, but the place was hopping, so I'm glad I made reservations on Open Table!
