We decided on a beer night get away on our trip to Seattle. Each of us tried a different brew and enjoyed good eats with good brews. Service from Nick was very good and prompt.
Horrible service and food. The only good thing about this place was the host. It took a long time to place our order. Had to ask for water and silverware 3 times and took 15 minutes. Server never checked in with us. Food was cold, chicken dry and fish was soggy. Had to walk over to host stand to ask for our check. Wasn't until after i paid that i noticed they overcharged us on all the happy hour food items. The handheld card swipe machine doesn't show the itemized list of things ordered and charges just the total - only the printed receipt shows this detail. Can't help but wonder if that's intentional so they can overcharge? Didn't have time to wait another 15-20 minutes to try and get our money back. If all you want to do is drink beer then this place might be ok..Otherwise horrible service and food.
Good food great service. Moderate pricing, varied menu. Nothing I'd rush back to but overall adequate
Pretty good food for a reasonable price for downtown Seattle. 160 beers and cocktails. We had the hummus appetizer, ceasar salad and chicken club sandwich. All were very good. I learned that another downtown restaurant closed, the Daily Grill at the Sheraton. This is in addition to Palomino, Gordon Biersch and Il Fornio in the last year. None have opened in their place. Went to Barnes and Noble for their last day. What is happening downtown?
We’d never been here and enjoyed our burgers, chicken and salads.
The restaurant seemed understaffed. Our waiter got multiple drink orders wrong and we had to ask a few times for water refills.
Didn't eat or drink anything so tough to do a review, went in and place was completely different then what I expected. We didn't expect a straight up TGI Fridays or BJ's Brewhouse but that's what it was... Did not eat instead made a different reservation elsewhere and left before eating or ordering anything.. So not a bad review per say just a well not the place I thought it was so we left.
Not sure when the last time I had such poor service. First, they got my drink order wrong. Next, both my son's steak and my burger were way under cooked for what we asked for. Only good thing from the night was that they took my meal off of tab, but it was still way over priced for what we got especially with one of our meals taken off.
3 couples arrived separately and checked with the desk. We all said the Hostess was a bit rude but we got over it. Our server was great, food was good and the chicken wings were to biggest wings we'd ever seen.
Fast service. The place was really crowded since it was a Friday evening, but the beers and the food came out quickly. Everyone enjoyed their meals.
Service was good considering it was packed. Only thing that took a while was the food, but we had apps and drinks that kept us busy. Pretzel knots and nachos were good, happy hour prices were about right for the size of the apps. Entrees were all good, I had the burger and crab bisque, others had the steak and fries, grilled cheese and tomato soup. Beer of course was great, excellent selection.
Wait staff had trouble hearing us. The restaurany and food were great! The elevators are’nt in service to go down after six which was quite difficult to maneuver.
Great greeting by The Host!! Felt really welcomed! Our server,Nick, was outstanding!! He handled our party of 8 with professional politeness, he was attentive, well organized and accurate in separating food to 4-different tabs! All that and he was charming!
Was very please with my first experience with Tap House. Thought it was going to be much more expensive than it was. Not cheap, but not super expensive either. And the food was delish!
Good portions, good quality and fast and attentive service.
You should only choose this place for having good beer.
The service on food was bad and the noise in the room is extreme.
Flatbread pizzas were amazing and great value on the Happy Hour menu. I had a spinach salad with steak and the steak was cooked perfectly and the salad was lovely. The calamari could be less breading/more calamari.
Good food but waited 10 t0 15 minutes to even be greeted by our server...no drink request or water or anything. Had to ask like 3 times for water. Food was good. Drinks pretty good.
Great beer selection. I go here every time I travel to Seattle
We came in for a drink and dinner before a comedy show. They weren’t very busy when we first arrived, I had reservations but probably didn’t actually need them at 5:00pm. The food was pretty good and my husband and I had a good time. I have been that location once before and I would go there again. My husband loved all the beer options and tried their local IPA flight.
Let food was really good the staff was pleasant and we had a good time.
Excellent food! Excellent service! Fun atmosphere!
very good atmosphere and food; enjoyed the ambience; was a great time
I you like beer that isn't that cold, this is the place to go!
Service was okay. Lots of fruit flies at bar.
We have been to the Tap House many times but unfortunately this was the first time we were just a tad bit disappointed. The service was fine, the atmosphere was fine...but the food was blah. It had no seasoning. I had the Cod & chips. It lacked salt. The coleslaw lacked salt. The fries lacked salt. Usually I'm ok with a bit less salt on my food but something happened here.
One bad experience will not keep us away since this is a spot we go to fairly often when we have a show in town. Oh the positive side my husbands meal was very good! I just chose wrong this time. Lesson learned!
Service was excellent food was terrible- we had family from South Carolina- we’ve always had great food great service- all 4 of our meals were small portions, shoddy presentation, low par for Tap house, almost inedible. waitresses too nice - we didn’t want to all complain!
Great location, good food and excellent service. The only downside to this restaurant is the noise level. Music could be turned down a notch or two.
Pub environment - food ok - many brews on tap. Nothing special.
Booked for a company gathering. Tap House was very flexible with the reservation. Service was quick, drinks and food were great.
Menu had good variety, plus over 160 beers on tap. Server was very attentive.
At her suggestion, I met a friend here for lunch. My chicken sausage flatbread was delicious and nicely prepared, and the service was excellent.
Great for a late night snack but food wasn’t outstanding.
My friend and I were going to Wicked on June 22, and I picked this place as it was close to the Paramount, the restaurant was huge! The service was awesome the drinks were perfect, we both ordered the wild salmon and it was delicious I ate everything! We had plenty of time and I’d so come here again in the future. Thanks Tap Room Grill well done!!
Loved the turkey bacon club!!! Our service was phenomenal!
Stopped for dinner before seeing Wicked at the Paramount Theater. Food was very good. Service was a bit slow.
First time there. Sat at the bar and had a great time. Bartenders were fantastic and food was wonderful😊
Great food, server was fine initially but after our food arrived we were totally forgotten. Even after our dessert was brought out, some dishes had still not been cleared. Waited over 30 minutes for our check, which made us nearly late to an event.
the food was very good and the beer selection was excellent, the service was acceptable but not the best. i have already recommended it to a friend.
Staff and service were great. We reserved online and did not have to wait 10 seconds to be seated. Food was delicious and priced very well. It was a great first time experience. We will be back.
