The Tap House is a great choice for those seeking good salads & sandwiches, and for those getting together for drinks. It's a fun, friendly atmosphere.
Beer and foods were good.
But very short staff available.
Dinner was very good. The calamari was excellent with an Asian flair. Had the crab bisque, bit salty but delicious. Looking forward to having the pineapple cider but they were out. It was very dark so had to pull out my light on my cell to read the menu. All in all very good and will come back.
Great food. The staff was very courteous and accommodated our need to get the check quickly to make it to a show. Food was great too.
160 beers and a good menu, you can't ho wrong. Our waitperson was attentive and was familiar with the beers on offer.
Family night out pre show
Food was tasty, price was expected, but the game changer was our excellent waitress! Super personable, knowledgeable, and attentive!
we requested to move to the pool hall area be ause it was so loud amd the seat was close together. Once we moved to the poll area we were the only ones. The services was terrible as she didnt check up on us . We had to go to the bar area and look for her to get drinks, napkins, and to check out. When she returned with the check i also requested a to go box, she did bring one so i had to go agaim to find her. It seems we get forgotten omce we was in tje pool area.
The food was fine when the order was corrected. However, we only saw our server 3 times. One of the orders was incorrect due to a dairy allergy, someone else took care of it and when it was brought to our server's attention she was very apathetic about it. Each time something came to our table it was brought by someone else and our server never came to check and could not be seen anywhere in the restaurant.
They have the best fish tacos! Excellent beer selections and a fun happy hour. Great service
It was just ok. It was not very busy when we arrived, but it took a really long time to get our food. I personally ordered the fish and chips and the fish was cooked fine, but it was soggy. I didn’t complain as we were in a hurry, but fried fish should be crispy.
Food is great and the staff is amazing! And with over 160 beers on tap, this place can't do any wrong!
Great customer service
Service was very slow. Everything seemed a little dirty and a little run down.
Meh. I wouldn’t go back. Way too loud and very slow service for how slow it was. Food was decent but that’s about it.
Our server took our drink order and then didn’t return for food order for almost 15 minutes. Other than that, food was great and we had a nice time.
excellent lunch spot for a business lunch. wait staff was great and very accommodating. meal delicious. will return
Disappointing. When we walked in, we thought it was a really cool place. But the service was so poor and the food was worse. We obviously had a waitress in training, because she was being tailed by another waitress. Unfortunately neither of them were very responsive. We had to ask for everything including water and wound up flagging down ANY wait person for help. It should be customary for a wait person to come by after and ask how the food was after it is delivered. Unfortunately neither of them seemed interested in knowing. The food was dry and tasteless. My corned beef sandwich was really just a bad reuben sandwich. And the place was not busy, so I am not sure what the problem was. Won't be coming back.
Enjoyed the beer flight although it was hard to make a choice. Fish tacos were good. There was a large table behind us and they really elevated the noise level. We especially noticed it when they left. Attentive wait staff.
Food was great! Server was very personable and likable. Another server also made sure we got service too, which was very impressive and shows that they pay attention to the floor. Overall, very good experience!
Food was outstanding. Service could have been a bit better
Pre dinner before a broadway show!
What you would expect from a higher end sports bar type place. Above average food quality and service. Kinda noisey, but not terribly so. More "mature" experience than similar places like Buffalo Wild Wings.
Great value, good food and friendly service. The place is a bit loud for my taste, but we made reservations and got a good table in the corner where it was quieter and easier to talk. The food was tasty and the value cannot be beat for downtown Seattle. It is in the basement of the building, so not easy to find, but worth it.
Food was fabulous! Very fun upbeat, loud, sports fanatics or party goers, great before a show at the Paramount. Service was fast and the crew worked hard!!!
If you like beer, this is the place to go!
Our waiter was awesome. He gladly split the bill for our party and did it quickly and efficiently.
They accommodated our large party, and gave us a small private room off the bar to ourselves. Great service and very organized, when large parties can tend to cause confusion. Our waitress was very nice and prompt!
Great spot for celebrating, but noise level can be high, especially on a Saturday night. Nice assortment of foods for anyone one & wait staff was very efficient & pleasant. We'll definitely continue to come here!
The Tap House Grill never disappoints! We love this restaurant! It's always our stop when we visit the 5th Ave. It's quick and a close walk to the theater.
Service was slow and good was brought out cold, when we asked to warm it up they basically burned it.
Great food and service.
Food and service were great. Vry nice and attentive waiter. One diner asked for no red onions but the order arrived with red onions. It was returned to kitchen and came back with fried onions on top as asked but the red onions were still there. Waiter took off the charge. It was pretty noisy but the 7 of us made our own racket so not a problem. The mac/cheese was a big hit.
The selling point is definitely the selection of beer on tap, and I liked that I could choose from a variety of samplers or do my own version. The food was alright; nothing amazing. Service was not great. Brought waters only when each person asked for it, and rarely came back unless we flagged for it.
Really imbrassing to bring colleagues and you dont recognize European driverslicense AS valid documentation for age. 35 years old and cant buy a beer.
Hi Brian, unfortunately the state of Washington does not consider a foreign drivers license as a valid form of identification for alcohol. We can only accept passports from European countries.
The dessert sampler was awesome, though the beer sampler was even better. Will definitely go back!
I’ve never written a bad review, but the service at Tap Room is appalling. The hostess at 8pm last night seemed to hate her job and the patrons. The waiter with the long greasy hair was the rudest waiter I’ve ever encountered. He made me feel guilty just ordering water by asking me repeatedly what else I wanted to drink. I don’t think I should feel the need to excuse myself from ordering a drink when I’m pregnant. I didn’t want sugar or caffeine at 8:30pm nor did I want alcohol. I wanted water. I’m pregnant and often dehydrated. Plus, he reprimanded us for wanting to split our bill down the middle. We were left speechless. We literally looked at him blankly when he expressed his frustration and asked us why we would do that. It was really appalling. And I spent 5 years waiting tables, so I’m usually extremely forgiving and understanding of the service industry. But this was just embarrassing.
Great place that has excellent happy hour deals. Appetizers are delicious and could serve as a main entree. Came here twice during my visit to Seattle, with a party of 6 and with a party of 20. Excellent service each time. Overall a very accommodating restaurant.
We had the best corned beef sandwich at the Tap House. When they served it, I thought it was so big, I'd never finish it, but it was actually very light and delicious. The Frances Coppola Cabernet was excellent, the service great. We had farewell drinks with our tour group one night later and had a lovely time.
