Inspired by authentic Sicilian recipes from the kitchens of Southern Italy's seaside town of Taormina, Chef Hiroyuki Mimura pairs fresh pastas with the highest quality seafoods and meats. Unspoiled by heavy sauces, Sicilian-style pastas are dressed in pure, extra virgin olive oil. 広めの静かな席を希望していましたが、普通の狭い席でバックを置く場所もなかったのが、高級店のはずなのに残念でした。食事やワインは頼んだもの全て美味しかったです。前菜のヤリイカが特に良かったです。

Our fourth visit to Taormina was as excellent as our first visit! The restaurant is one of understated elegance, the staff is friendly and professional, the service outstanding, and the cuisine consistently excellent. A personal favorite is the pan roasted duck breast. To illustrate the staff's commitment to making their guests' experience a positive one: A five-year old guest accidentally spilled his drink and was embarrassed and sad. A staff member immediately consoled him, quickly scooped up the ice and liquid while another staff member placed napkins over the wet table cloth. A new drink appeared momentarily. Thank you to the Taormina staff for leaving a positive lasting impression upon our party. Your understanding and compassion was deeply appreciated.

I researched this particular restaurant, before I came to Hawaii. Had a Valentine’s Day dinner, and it was fantastic. It lived up to everything the reviews and pictures showed . I highly recommend this restaurant.

こちらのお店には、知人の紹介にてハネムーンで来店。最後には、デザートのプレートで結婚のお祝いをしてくださりました。料理はどれも満足。店員さんもみなさん親切で心地良かったです。ぜひまた来たいと思えるお店でした。素晴らしいお料理に素敵な接客、大変ありがとうございました。機会がありましたら、また伺いたいと思います。

The lasagna was maybe one of the best I've tried. Huge portion. The service was extraordinary; even though they took a long time to bring our food since we didn't ask for appetizers, they made it right bringing us a delicious eggplant and dessert as courtesy.

OMG!The lasagna is to die for! Service was personal and professional. This is a very attractive small restaurant that concentrates on -- and succeeds in -- doing a limited number of things exceptionally well. The Prix fixe menu with wine accompanying 3 of the 4 courses is a great value (especially at lunch).

We have dined at Taormina about 12 tImes over the last 4 years. Each time we thought to ourselves "wow", the food was that good. On this visit however, the food was quite simply
not as good as in the past. We thought to ourselves "meh" : not bad, but noticeably and distinctly more bland and less awesome than before.

In retrospect, we should have brought this to the attention of the staff.

Having said that, we hope it was just a one time thing, and we plan to go again.

Food was delicious but entree portion was one the petite side. Would be nice if the bread was freshly baked or at least served warm. The staff was very friendly and service was excellent.

今回はお誕生日のリクエストを入れました。

ウニパスタは絶品なので、
注文必ずします。

今回は、
・コナカンパチのカルパッチョ
・イカと豆の煮込み
・ウニパスタ
・ボロネーゼ

どれも美味しいかったです♡

以前に食べたパスタは、
ボンゴレも

フィレカツレツもおススメです。

初めての方はコース料理も美味しいので、おススメです。

お誕生日のプレートをopen tableで入れるだけで、
提供してくれました。

ティラミスでした。

美味しいかったです!

お値段はしっかり取られてましたけどね。
16ドルくらいかな?
でも気遣いが嬉しかったです

Food and service was great. Dined outside on the patio which was very nice however you would get the cigarette smoke and noise from people out on the sidewalk next to the patio.

The food was nothing special. Bread was low quality and the rest quite average. For the money they charge you would expect something much more sophisticated.

A friendly welcome started a delicious Italian dinner in the heart of Waikiki! Pasta with fresh tomato sauce & delicious fresh breads. My favorite was the olive! A different spin on traditional lasagna. It arrived looking more like a "pot pie" but delicious none the less. The addition of blue cheese gave it a real twist! Yummy! Morton chocolate cake was the perfect ending and nice that the manager is from the east coast!! 😊

2回目の利用です。タコのサラミがお気に入り。添えられた塩味の効いた海藻も美味しい。後はやはりウニのスパゲティ!お高いけれど記憶に残る味。サービスは日本人にも安心の日本語オーケーで有難い。チョイ残念だったのは、ガラス窓が汚れていて外の景色が霞んで見えたかな。

We enjoyed the restaurant however would make different choices in the future. I did not care for the squid ink linguini and the fruit Del Mar was short on seafood with one scallop and two small shrimp along with some clams. My husband had king salmon which was good but small. We are from Alaska and anticipated a larger portion. The salad was good - one serving enough to share with extra.

The bread was very disappointing. It was so hard on top like it was reheated or overheated. We asked for a new batch but that, too, wasn't satisfactory. Again, they left it in the microwave too long so by the time we got it, it was hard. Other than the bread, our entrees and appetizer were fine.

生ウニのパスタは、ウニが濃厚でとても美味しいです。
生パスタは、麺の硬さやモチモチ感が絶妙でした。
今回は両親との食事だったので、量的にいろいろ注文できず、パスタ類とデザートのみの食事になりました。そうした場合にはコスパが悪いお店かと思います。
