Taormina Sicilian Cuisine
Service and food were wonderful. Between the 3 of us we had risotto, filet, and munching. The filet was tender and delicious. This restaurant was recommended to us and it was perfect
Friendly service, nice time catching up with old friends
Authentic siciliano. Uni pasta is perfect. Great service
AMAZING Experience at Taormina. It was our 32nd anniversary and we were celebrating with two other couples. They are awesome. Food was amazing ( from the salads to the entrees) plus Great wine list. Our server Jackie was very nice and made the experience even better. The General manager ( Jocko Walker) kept checking on us and was real hands on.
The food is good quality and the service was kind but WAY overpriced. An appetizer plate was $26 for two small pieces of prosciutto, one piece of mozzarella and two half-pieces of sun-dried tomato. The food is fresh and tasty but would definitely think about going back given the price and size of the potions. We had two salades, two pastas, one glass of wine and one appetizer plate for $145. Given other restaurants in the area that are more reasonably priced, I would try elsewhere.
Perfect thanksgiving lunch. I enjoyed wonderful time with my husband
Fabulous italian food and outstanding service. They put an interesting and delicious twist on common italian dishes which make them anything but common.
Seafood bruschetta was terrific. Seafood in pasta dishes was overcooked and chewy. Wine was very expensive.
Not bad but far from great
Second time dining here. Another excellent dining experience.
Our server, Bella, was very engaging. Really enjoyed the Restaurant Week offerings and the service.
The food was exceptional and I really appreciated the small details and how it was presented. Our server was excellent, unfortunately I can’t remember his name. He was attentive and checked on us every time but not an overbearing amount. The restaurant also gave us a free dessert since we ate there to celebrate our anniversary and it was beautiful and delicious. Definitely worth visiting and we look forward to coming back.
Soooo delicious! Enjoyed the food and the ambience.
The food and service were outstanding, but the portions were small.
Taormina is our favorite place to go to for a fancy night on the town. We come here every year for our anniversary and it's always been a special visit every time! They never disappoint, our favorites are always consistent and we've never had a new course we didn't like. To top off, a visit from the head chef is always a great treat.
I was VERY impressed with he service. The waitress was very attentive.
The food was wonderful and portions were filling.
Great Bistro. We sat outside and it was surprisingly pleasant..you can choose to watch people or be watched by people! The food was yummy and service excellent! Plus, free four hour parking in Waikiki with Validation is a bonus.
We were here for the Restaurant Week Hawaii for lunch. All the 4 course dishes were excellent. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. The chef takes great care in his/her dishes. Loved it!
Loved this place, one of my favorites on the island.
The waiter was amazing and elevated the experience.
Incredible food, service, and atmosphere.
Sometimes a dino g experience is so exceptional that you have to repeat it. Even if it means, dining at the same restaurant twice in one week. Absolutely love the food, the service and the ambiance. A lovely place with exceptional food. The Eggplant Caponata is worth the trip alone.
We went here to Waikiki for our honeymoon trip and reserved here for a special dinner. We had rucola salad, sea urchin pasta, and truffle carbonara. All of them were very good, especially the truffle carbonara which they shave fresh truffles at the table. We were surprised that they served us a desert plate saying "Happy Honeymoon".
Their kindness made our day so special. Thank you so much!
This is a food paradise. From the excellent, attentive service from Joe to each scrumptious bite served, this is a fine dining experience. Honolulu is full of expensive restaurants, we’ve tried a lot, frequently disappointed but this is a stand out. Please go with an attitude to relax, enjoy, and savor. The Ricci di Marr is perfection in a bowl. My only regret is that I didn’t book a second meal before leaving for stateside.
I found the food to be very good but very overpriced. Nice atmosphere and excellent service but cold Focaccia Bread and only 1 piece, and a turn and burn table strategy - get the food to you quick and get out. Waited a few days to get a 6:30 reservation but won’t be did I feel there again
The service was fantastic. The kitchen was running a little behind, but we were enjoying our drinks. The chef sent out a delicious side of Prosciutto and papaya while we waited. It was unnecessary, but much appreciated. We will definitely come back and recommend Taormina to friends who visit.
This was the perfect place to celebrate my wife's 60th birthday. We love sitting by the large window facing Lewer's St. The staff was very kind to let us sit there even though it was only the two of us. The food and the service was just perfect!
We celebrated our anniversary here and were greeted & wished Happy Anniversary at the door and by our server. The service and the food were both exceptional . We were treated to a beautiful anniversary Tiramisu dessert at the end of our dinner which was a very nice surprise
The food and service was excellent however the noise level was extremely high. We have been coming here for many years and it seems that the dress code is getting more lax every year. Tank tops, sweatpants, flip flops common at 7:30 pm even though website says otherwise. Noisy children, etc. with the high prices for the food you would expect a more subdued atmosphere. I’m afraid a once romantic dining experience has been turned into a Hardee’s play area experience.
I will recommend Taormina Sicillian Cuisine to all of my friends!! Very clean and quiet atmosphere even in busy Honolulu, Bolognese and Lasagna were the best!
Absolutely wonderful, as always. So much fun to sit at the front windows and people watch on Halloween. Amazing food, great wine and incredible service (thanks Hannah!). We’ll see y’all in December!
