This location was really really good! Our waitress was so amazing her recommendations were very great choices. We had such a great time and we will come back here the next time were in town for sure!
It’s a great spot but we had a 7:30 reservation and at 8:15 I had to ask how much longer. It turned out they were lost on who had what buzzer when it came time for your table
Our server was great. Food was great except for the roll we ordered as the sushi rice was like a paste
Made a reservation for dinner 3 days in advance. Arrived 10 minutes early and was told the table would be ready in a few minutes.
40 minutes after our reservation time the table was finally available. We were about to leave when we were finally seated. If we were told it would be a very very long wait for our table, we would have gone elsewhere.
Our server was exceptional and the food came quickly and was delicious. Our drinks were comped. That was very nice.
The good was great and they made my daughter 21 birthday unforgetable😎the waiter Lawrence was great
Birthday dinner excellent as always!!
Great restaurant with awesome food and beautiful ambiance! Celebrated a friend’s b’day and the club after dinner was just mind blowing!
Disappointed! LOVE Tao downtown New York! Food was amazing. They do not have same menu. Almost like 2 different restaurants
Outstanding food. Menu was outstanding. Sushi, seafood, drinks everything was great. Service was excellent. Only drawback was high noise level so conversations were difficult.
Great atmosphere, friendly service, food was tasty and they have a nice selection of drinks including cold Sake. They remembered and arranged a very nice birthday surprise dessert. Will come again to check out the disco upstairs. The Buddha is pretty big and the decor is captivating.
The food and service was great! The ambiance and music was awesome.
Amazing food and very cool restaurant.
Tao is one of my favorite restaurants. I make a reservation every time I visit Vegas. The food and atmosphere are fantastic. I love the pad Thai and the sushi.
Very nice restaurant in the Venitian Hotel and Casino complex. Excellent service and delicious food. Busy, busy, busy, need reservation in advance, day before if possible. I had Coconut shrimps and my significant other had the scallops in red curry sauce. For desert, I recommend the Crunchy Bread Pudding with caramel sauce and sliced bananas...a marvel and a humongus serving. Need a good walk to burn the calories. My S.O. had the Ice cream combo, again a generous serving with special ice cream, three flavors including green tea and chinese cookie a surprising taste very different from the fortune cookie offered everywhere.
Fabulous once again
Atmosphere wonderful
Service impeccable
Sea Bass a must
Excellent restaurant. Excellent food. Excellent server service. The worst host process I have ever seen. Showed up early for reservation. Had to wait 15 minutes to check in. Was seated 45 minutes after check in at a table in the bar area that had been opened the ENTIRE time (we were sitting in a couch right next to it) we sat in the bar area. Asked to be re-seated in the main area.
Server was sympathetic to our experience and offered a drink to make up for the wait. Her service was outstanding as was the food.
Maybe the vibe of the wait is what the business desires. I'm flexible that it can be a bit (15 minutes?) to be seated with a reservation. However, if I am 50 minutes late coming to a reservation, do you think they would still honor it?
Celebrated a big birthday here. They made it special with an exquisite desert
Great service!Ana was great! The food was bad...really bad.The seafood seemd old and not fresh. The korean ribs were slices of something tough and chewy...couldnt finish them.Gave some to the couple next to us to get their opinion and they also thought they were the worst.I have been to this place many times but something has happened to the quality of their food.Never again!
Food was amazing, can never eat crab cakes anywhere else again!
Fantastic atmosphere and our host was Extremely attentive and friendly. I really appreciated her recommendations. The food was Outrageously good and packed with authentic flavor and innovative. I love this place and will come back. The Buddha chicken was out of this world.
The best find in Vegas,,,, (and I live here).. From the staff to the food. My GO TO when I want a little extra special evening out! Make sure to make reservations. And DRESS TO IMPRESS!
This is my go to place anytime I’m in Las Vegas. Food was great and our server was tremendous. Went with a business associate that had never been and she explained menu well. Food was great and love the overall atmosphere.
Nice dinner. Be aware of the peeking duck for 2 - the price listed in the menu is per person so it’s $79 for this dish. Menu is confusing and misleading!!
The food was amazing, our server looked like a model, the only thing I would say is as far as the restaurant portion, the music didn't fit the cozy, sophicated ambiance, I would have liked a more mellowed out playlist while eating.
TAO is my favorite place all over the cities I travel. Super delicious food! Amazing service, good crowd! Love it
Everything from the drinks to dessert were delicious, but I woke up after dreaming of the lobster wontons in shiitake ginger broth even two days later.
We just arrived in Las Vegas and looked to unwind after traveling in a plane for several hours. Tao was conveniently located in the Venetian, which is a massive complex of restaurants and shops as well as the three hotel buildings and casino. Thankfully we had reservations as this appeared to be a popular destination for dining--especially on a Friday night, since there is a nightclub upstairs and most of the diners seemed to migrate to the club after their meal; you don't want to compete with the MANY bachelorette/bachelor parties that seemed to dominate the Vegas scenes on the weekend! And by dining in the restaurant you have an easier access to the club--a big plus.
Tao is a bigger facility than I was used to with an extended waiting area with large couches and the bar; the dining area was further back with a tall ceiling adorned with Asian tapestry and the lighting was quite subtle. Our server Lars took great care of us as he would swing by our table and keep us informed about our meals. There was quite a bit of foot traffic near our table so we either sat by the rest rooms or nightclub entrance.
Even though we were hungry the food was amazing in flavors and aromas. Among our plates were vegetable fried rice, sauteed cauliflower and a large Tao salad. Everything was cooked to perfection and served at the right temperature.
All in all, an amazing way to start our Vegas weekend!
Great evening at Tao, little cold though the air con was quiet cool a little too cool!
Service and staff were excellent in helping us through the menu. Pot stickers, Chinese sausage fried rice, miso glazed sea bass and the fortune cookie dessert were all delicious! We will definitely return on our future trips to Vegas. You also get inclusive and priority entrance to the nightclub if you order an entree so that was definitely worth the perk also!
Our waiter was Lars- He was awesome! It was our first time at Tao. Lars made us feel right at home. Please pat him on the back!
Food was mediocre for the price. We could’ve saved $100 by eating at Panda Express and it probably would’ve been hot. There for our anniversary, no mention of it even with the request made, food was served quickly and barely warm, which means it was pre-made not fresh. Very overpriced for the quality.
Similar to P.F. Chang’s, but larger and more asthetically pleasing. The food is good. Too crowded and loud for a date, but great for groups.
Everything we ordered was fantastic. The yellowtail is unbelievable and the crispy rice dish was perfect both times I’ve eaten here. Loud the second night, but we sat at the sushi bar and had no issues. Giant fortune cookie to celebrate a birthday... the fortunes alone are enough reason to get it. Added bonus is that it’s delicious.
An amazing dining experience from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. The tasting menu was phenomenal and was one of the highlights of my trip to Vegas.
I have found Tao surprising. On one hand it is a well known club, however few people know that the kitchen, run by executive chef Brian Hlee performs its tasks with culinary mastery hidden within this sion of the local club scene. A don’t miss when in Vegas.
The food was great, and the atmosphere was fun. I would definitely go back.
Highly recommend a place low-price he but it’s worth it
Always a great meal in a cool environment!
Almost an extraordinary experience if it was not for the waiting to be seated time even though we had a reservation. But everything else was perfect, the food delicious and an excellent service.
Fabulous food, good service but noise level is so high it is extremely difficult to have a conversation.
