Bday was the real deal. Great food, incredible spot. One of the top overall spots on the strip for it all. REAL DEAL
Cool place. Service was good. I’ve eaten much better Asian food at hole in the walls for a quarter of the price.
A little loud but one of the best dining experiences of my life. Fantastic service, not only from the server but the entire front of the house. Will definitely go back next time i'm in Vegas.
The food was fantastic! Everything we ate was delicious and the place had a really cool ambiance! Would definitely go again!
consistently sexy vibe, good food with an amazing DJ. Highly recommended.
We had a wonderful meal and time visiting during. Their anniversary celebration!
Our waitress was a disaster
One of the best restaurants in the world
El mesero nos ayudo a ordenar una buena comida, ya que era nuestra primera vez. Volvería si dudarlo.
Awesome food and great ambient! Cannot go wrong with the food selection.
It was loud, not a real date experience, server only check on us twice before our food came after he never came back, not even for a refill. We had to go find someone for our check. Out table was wet, we got a really booth table for just a party of two, steak was cold and dry, fried rice was flavor less. Over priced for the portions and not a really nice presentation. Wait I almost forgot we made and payed for reservations for 7:15 we set down at 7:50 and waited for like 15 extra mins just to be greeted by any of the waiting staffs.
Great drinks, atmosphere, great service!
I love Chinese food and am discerning. The food was very saucy and Americanized.
So dark in there people were using flashlight from their phone blinding us as we ate. Large Group next to us drunk and loud
Great food, great service! You have to try the tao-tini.
Great service!! Beautiful place and great food!!
Good environment, great food, good ppl!
Way too loud to have a romantic dinner for our anniversary. We couldn’t hear each other talk. Our sushi that we ordered when we sat down came out after we got our main meals and ended up going to waste.
Wonderful service and the food was absolutely fantastic!
Amazing ambiance and food to match. The service was also noticeably better than most restaurants in Vegas now who are understaffed.
The Miso-Glazed Chilean Sea Bass is a must-have. This is our 4th time back to Tao and our experience is perfect every time. Make reservations ahead of time to avoid the 3-4 hour waits.
I made sure to put notes of my wedding anniversary of 10 years. When the restaurant called to confirm I asked if they do anything to celebrate and she said yes we have a big fortune cookie dessert. I was looking forward to that. At the end of my meal the server asked if we wanted dessert. I had to remind her we were celebrating an anniversary. She said oh yeah that’s right. Really? Reservations had notes and the person who called said not to worry we will celebrate it. Then when the server brought out dessert it was just a sorbet and I asked about the fortune cookie and they male server who brought it our said we don’t do that anymore and she was mistaken. I was highly disappointed for a high end restaurant to have mixed information. The reason they stopped was because other customers would say it their birthday to get the free dessert. Well it is our wedding anniversary and obviously we are not making that up. They should have honored it. Also we asked for a separate check and server obviously did t do it at the first pass as she had to get her manager to fix it. She did not remember what each couple ordered and had to ask us what we ordered. Food excellent. Service poor.
Dinner was amazing as usual. We had several sushi rolls which were very good. We’ve been here a few times and always enjoy it. This time our waiter was slow, he forgot our shots. He didn’t bring out our noodles with the sushi. Overall service was a bust but the food was great.
Our server Matthew was rude. He only acknowledged me not my boyfriend who’s birthday it was and at the end throw down the birthday cake and knife to cute the cake.
The buser that was helping him out was very nice and personable and made up for what our server lacked
Great time and the drinks and food were amazing.
Bad service from waitress
It was great
Had a great time celebrating my mother’s birthday there!
Drinks were good. Good was okay. Service was great.
We Loved Tao , Food was excellent , I asked for a glass of Pinot Grigio and was brought a glass of Chardonnay and was not told which I did not appreciate
Great food! I had a wonderful time & the wait staff was on point.
Waited 40 minutes before we ordered or was offered a drink. After waiting for our drinks our waiter forgot to put in our order so we had to wait extra time for our food as well.
The decor and ambiance is very serene as you might expect for a nice Asian restaurant. Unfortunately there were many large party tables which resulted in a very loud atmosphere and difficult to hear my partner sitting right across from me. Also server was very distracted with large parties and was not very attentive to our table.
Food was good though.
What a HUGE disappointment! We have always considered TAO one of our favorites and have dined there many, many times. The menu has been dramatically reduced…by a lot!!! Our waiter, Jack, was awesome and that was the nicest complement I could give the entire dining experience. The food was MEDIOCRE at best. The restaurant looks dated. I would never return. Who gets this in their fortune cookie??? I was truly taken aback. NOT FUNNY!!
Food was very good and well priced for what we received. We had the peking duck. It was authentic and spot on, which is rare in the U.S. Exactly the same as how I received it from the floating restaurant in Hong Kong. The bill for my wife and I was under $140. Comparatively speaking, we ate at Dominico's the night before, where the food was as equally good and the bill was almost $400.
Great food and atmosphere. I'm definitely eating here again on my next trip to Vegas.
Everything we ordered was top notch. The sashimi was so fresh and prepared beautifully. From our cocktails to the giant fortune cookie for dessert, we enjoyed every bit of our meal. Our server was attentive, but never rushed us. The restaurant ambiance gets you in the mood for a special dining experience and it was.
We often dine out at fine restaurateurs as a family. The food and the service was was perfect for a table of six. The servers paid attention to small details such as which side of the table should each of the shared dishes be placed. They were always magically always around without being intrusive. The food was 5 star also. Super tasty without being heavy. The whole experience was more than impressive.
