Japanese
Guests are transported from the City of Sin to the Pacific Rim inside TAO Asian Bistro, a 60,000 square-foot, multi-story “Asian City” housing a restaurant, banquet facilities, lounge and nightclub. Lush velvets and silks, waterfalls and century-old woods and stones accentuate the experience, and the restaurant’s signature 20-foot Buddha watches over every corner of the restaurant while floating peacefully above an infinity pool complete with Japanese koi.

Corporate Executive Chef Ralph Scamardella has developed a menu for the 400-seat restaurant by incorporating culinary components from China, Japan and Thailand. Signature dishes include offerings from sea, sky and land including Chilean Sea Bass Satay with Wok Roasted Asparagus, a preparation of Peking Duck that consistently receives accolades, and Kobe Beef Shabu Shabu along with a full sushi bar.

This restaurant is very tasty a particularly the dumplings, Shishito peppers, and main fish dishes! Definitely a pricey treat with over the top decor, but a good spot for dinner in Vegas!

I love the atmosphere of Tao. The food is a bit pricey, but delicious! The food is portioned as a family-style meal. Highly reccommend the 8 greens fried rice, so unique and different than regular fried rice.

Very pretty inside but also very loud. Service was good except that everyone but one of us were served dinner at once- the last one didn’t arrive til like 20 mins later. The food is good (especially the veggie fried rice) but also super expensive for what it is (king crab California roll $20 for a roll that’s not really creative or particularly good). Been to Tao in NY and I think the NY location is a bit better.

I am sure the night club side of Tao is fabulous. But if you are here to have a fabulous food dinner, this is not the place. The food is over priced mediocrely prepared. We had duck spring roll which was the best. The spicy tempura roll was just ok. The pad thai noodle was all watery and had too much fish sauce. The garlic chicken was barely a quarter of a chicken, very dry with sauce poured over it. This was suppose to be a special birthday dinner for my sister in law and it was kind of a let down.

The food was pretty good but not outstanding. Our service however, was top notch. Also, the giant fortune cookie dessert they brought out for my mother's birthday was spectacular and a great surprise. The ambiance and decor was incredible as well. Would definitely recommend if staying on the Strip.

We have been to Tao twice. We had exceptional service and food the first time. The second time we had exceptional food and horrible service. I will never go back because of it. When I go to a restaurant like Tao, I expect to have the same quality of service as food. The food didn’t disappoint but the waiter should work at the place where they insult you.

Amazing night in Tao Las Vegas. The food was amazing : the best toro sushi, amazing Peking duck for two. We also tried the angry rolls and salmon sashimi as starters and eggplants with the duck and everything was really good. The waitress was just amazingly nice and made sure that the experience in Tao was perfect for us, and it’s a success : we are looking forward to coming back soon!

Our server was brutal. From the start, he was clearly having a bad nights. Did very little to explain the menu , didn’t suggest any dishes nothing. Rsvp was for 645 and at shortly after 8 and a visit from Mgmt our party of 6 finally got our meal. Even then they gave wrong dishes to wrong ppl and that’s just not common on high end places which I think Tao is trying to be? The water guy reached right across my dates plate as she was eating to grab my water glass and fill it up and then stretched right back over to set it down. Pathetic. Dishes piled up before he came back and when we told him we needed separate checks he huffed and said it will take a while and wish we woukd have told him sooner....then he realized prior to taking our order he did ask us and even counted our party then took our order. Just horrible service all around
High note the sea bass with miso glaze was amazing. Drinks are way overpriced as usual in Vegas. Vodka tonic $20. The rolls were very good and fresh
Not a do over for us unfortunately

Excellent overall especially Danielle. The only thing we did not like is the positioning of our table and all of the people and staff that kept crossing our table, numbing into our chairs, and disrupting our dinner....all night. It was constant and such a distraction. Also food was dropped onto my jacket from other tables being cleared. The staff didn't see it and I didn't want to make a big deal.

A very beautiful restuaraunt with high end appointments, and a night club atmosphere, marred by a food experience that did not match the high expectations your eyes take in when you arrive and are seated. Don't get me wrong, the food is good. It's just not great or very unique. In my opinion, for the prices listed, I was expecting a more zen-like experience and was left with a meh-like experience. I would not let that keep a person a way as value is in the eye of the beholder. I would go back, but maybe just for apps and cocktails.

The service and food is always amazing. We came during a convention time so it was very loud to the point we could not have much conversation, we kinda rushed through dinner because it was so loud. Definitely would recommend ordering small plates and appetizers to share as we have never had a bad meal.

I was excited to celebrate a birthday but disappointed with the service. First let’s begin with how long it took to get my appetizers. AND! the food took even longer....so long that we canceled the dinner order and left because of other pre-planned engagements. I was excited but all I experienced were disappointments.

Anniversary Dinner in beautiful asian style restaurant. Outstanding food, especially the tapas-like small dishes. Awesome atmosphere and great staff. A must for Las Vegas tourists who like asian food and atmosphere. During the day the run their own signature store left of tve entrance ... which later at night turns into the TAO night club entrance.

Tao is amazing!! Definitely much bigger than I thought it would be.
Looks like an intimate dinning experience but the place is huge!!! The music did make it hard to hear my partner but the food was 5* and our service was amazing.

I would return here in a heart beat!

Tao Las Vegas is a first choice for upscale Asian bistro dining , offering both the highest quality service and exquisite Asian cuisine. Appetizers, main courses, and desserts all offer a unique way to amaze your taste buds and show you some of the best flavors and tastes that other restaurants cannot match. I highly recommend a full three course meal- complete with a dessert giant fortune cookie , for the full TAO experience.
