Great place!!! very god food and service, great ambience!!
Love the food, very dark in the restaurant and had a hard time reading the menu. Ambiance is very nice and the water was very personable!
The food was wonderful. Get the cauliflower side. We were three had appetizer two mains and two sides family style.
We got there right as they opened for the evening. Seating was wide open. They offered us first a table next to the restrooms! We said no, please us away from the restroom. The guy had to get permission to move us. So then they put us at a table literally right next to the open kitchen!! We said, PLEASE can you put us over in the other side where its wide open and a few people are seated? Several very nice booths were open the entire time we were there. They put us in a far corner near the museum like display, right on the end near a server's station. Three lousy table seating offerings. We were tired at that point so just sat there. We had really looked forward to this restaurant. The food did not disappoint, and our server was excellent and attentive. So overall I would say it was good, but the booth at the wall would have made us much happier customers! Please save your worst tables for walk ins or when you are crowded!!!!
We have been a couple of times and each time has been nothing less than AWESOME!!! The flavours are amazing and the staff is so friendly and helpful. Will always make time for this restaurant whenever we are in Vegas!!!
Awesome experience and fantastic food! Will certainly be back again!
Excellent food, great service. The rice with a fried egg they cut up in front of you. Also the shrimp and crab sushi is excellent. The basic chicken dish, is okay, but probably the weakest item on the menu
Asian fusion but uses poor quality Tuna disguises that with Poke tuna. Charged extra for regular non-spicy because "it would cost more to get fresh fish" per the waiter/server. The dessert was cold when should have been warm. Rice pudding was fair at best. Disappointing experience.
Great, authentic Peking (Beijing) duck, with proper crepes (not dumb buns), green onion, and hoisin - yum. $80 for 2 people in theory but it was the only food I ordered and I ate the whole duck!
Wonderful food and atmosphere! Little loud but was worth it!
Bella was our waitress and she was very sweet. The restaurant was extremely busy but she and the cooking staff didn’t miss a beat. All our drinks and food arrived quickly and tasted great. Kudos to the TAO team for running a super smooth operation. It’s one of my favorite restaurants in Vegas and I’ll make it a point to visit every time I’m here.
Awesome place. Best to Go on a night when the club is open because you get preferential entrance but I went on a night when the club was closed.
Great service, food was A+, unique and exciting menu. Very noisy - not a good place for conversation.
Beautiful restaurant...excellent food choices and superior service. If you go to Vegas, give Tao a try. You will not be disappointed.
We got our table after an hours wait despite our advance reservation , but it was all worth it a the decor is over the top , food is spectacular, with a lot of saucy flavors, service was top notch
Food and service was excellent! I will come back there every time I visit Las Vegas!
The food was excellent but my server was not friendly.
Dud his job but nit personable. It was my daughter’s birthday also. He brought a beautiful giant fortune cookie but dud nit extend a kind wish. He just placed it in front of her.
Again, the food was excellent. The atmosphere delightful. The waiter, ruined the birthday experience and excitement!
Love this place. Such a beautiful restaurant! Great food and service.
We unfortunately had a terrible experience here. Came for our sons 21st birthday. Arrived on time for our reservation. Told to wait in bar area. Waiting fifteen minutes then given a table in the bar area and told that if we wanted a table in the restaurant we would have to wait longer and no guarantee how much longer that would be. Door was left open to outside next to our table so people going to upstairs club could come in thru that side door. We literally froze sitting at the table in the bar with no view of the restaurant and couldn’t really even enjoy our meals or our sons special fortune cookie dessert. So disappointed. My son had never been before but I had taken his sister for her birthday and talked it up so much that he really looked forward to going there and I felt so bad we had such an awful experience!
Fabulous meal that is served family style, wonderfully attentive staff, absolutely beautiful ambience. Highly recommended.
Dinner was great great service and just a good time!
I went for my birthday dinner and it was perfect!!! Delicious food and awesome service & atmosphere!!!
Such a good experience at TAO! Third time with my best friend and we were not disappointed.
We had a fabulous dinner, the food, staff and ambiance were terrific. The mushroom side dish is a MUST!
Thank you TAO
We always have an amazing time at Tao. The food, drinks, and service superb. We will be back
I’m incredibly frustrated with TAO. It’s the 6 th time we’ve ventured for a birthday and I always request a “nice” table.
Each time we’ve been seated at the table closest to the kitchen
We are not the time to be asked to move
Also we were told servers had not arrived yet go to bar only to order drinks get a table and people were finishing up so there were servers and people at decent tables and booths IF we do return I will request viewing our table.
My husband and I had a 8:30pm reservation. We arrived 15 minutes ahead of time. We got there a d was told our table wasn't ready yet which is understandable as we did arrive early. The host said we could sit in the lounge area order drinks until our table was ready. This is where our experience started to go downhill. A group of 8 people were sitting next to us the waitress for this area waited on them hand and foot made sure their drinks were taken care of etc however not once did she come over to my husband and I and get our drinks order. She would periodically look at us then turn away. I even had the drink menu in my hand to let them know I wanted a drink. On top of this a younger couple came in 10 minutes after us didn't have a reservation and was seated before us. (I know they didn't have a reservation because the host gave them a buzzer, they didn't give us one because they said they would text us when our table was ready) we sat in the lounge for over 40 minutes before another waitress checked in on us and asked if we wanted anything to drink. I told her she was the 1st waitress to ask us anything in 40 minutes. She was very apologetic by the time we started to give her our drink order our table was ready. We were sat in a corner booth which wasn't a problem for us. Our waiter Justin (I believe that is his name) was amazing he could tell we were upset and he went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied. This was my 1st time in Vegas and 1st at TAO as I have always wanted to go and this was for my birthday. However 1st impressions are everything I will not return to TAO. My husband and I felt very unwelcomed as if we don't have enough money to be there......
Great food and cool place!
Good service. A little bit expensive but overall is recommended!
Taste treats abound here! Try the fried rice for a pleasantly surprising combination of unexpected ingredients. Skip the lobster wontons, which had a mushy exterior, and the so-so sea bass on sticks and the Peking duck spring rolls with very little duck in them.. Extremely loud ambience but the decor was refreshingly different.
We always enjoy our dining experience at Tao. It is a regular stop for us when we are in Vegas
Missed the chocolate zen parfait. It’s off the menu and we wish it was back.
We went for dinner and had two specialty sushi rolls as well as the 8 greens fried rice. The sushi is super fresh! Didn’t leave us feeling too full. The fried rice was a little oily/buttery, but very tasty. They hooked us up with free dessert for our anniversary. The giant fortune cookie is killer if you have A sweet tooth! Dark and loud atmosphere. Ask for a private table if you’re looking for a more intimate night. Otherwise, you’ll have to shout to hear each other. Overall great experience and much less expensive than we expected.
Been dining here for years and it’s always excellent in every way.
What a delicous experience! It was refreshing and the staff was amazing and impressive!
My husband and I were in town for business. I have heard of Tao in New York City. We decided to give it a try. WOW! We will be back. The food was amazing and the server Justin was outstanding! His recommendations were spot on! Thank you!
All the food was delicious! Worth every penny for a special occasion. Portions were generous.
Great service and great food!
The food was great, the service excellent, the only thing is the guy in the restroom asks for money when he hands you a towel or soap.
Great experience but impossible to talk at a large table.
First impression, not impressed. Food was amazing - that’s all I can rave about.
