Great place! Delicious food, great service, beautiful place ... and with the “happy birthday” big fortune cookie surprise at the end!!! I definitely loved the place. Thank you!!
Great ambiance, Stephanie our server was great!
Made to wait an hour past our reservation time.
In spite of reservation we were kept waiting for over 1 hour and were given a table in front of the restrooms. Not a top-botch treatment to say the least.
Once seated service was quick and food pretty good
It was kool. They came out at the end with giant fortune cookies.
Great food and ambiance
Amazing food, amazing staff, overall just a great dining experience
Food was excellent although we had a problem with our food order that took extremely long but the manager came over and basically made it up to us so that was appreciated.
Really cool place, ambience is amazing, kinda pretentious, better service would have enhanced our experience.
We had a great meal & fun time @ Tao
Very nice service , even though we had to wait 30 minutes after we made a reservation for 8 pm but overall it was very nice . We loved the food and our waitress was amazing .
Cool place and food was okay.. The stripped bass was really good but the noise was impossible and the server sucked at best. We'll try again sometime.
The food was excellent! The table was a bit crowded because they had five of us around the table that really should have had four at the most, but other than that, everything was excellent!
Same type of restaurant as TAO New York, maybe a bit smaller. Nice decoration and ambient music. Food was very good.
Excelente. Tanto la comida como el servicio
Daughter and I had been to the Tao in New York and loved it so we tried the one in Las Vegas. Interior still beautiful. Dark, intimate, and good for special occasions. An issue with the online “dress code.” Stated coats for men, no tennis shoes,etc...turns out it was a lie so we dressed up for nothing. I was annoyed. Man next to us in t-shirt, jeans, tennis shoe and baseball hat. Boys: at least take off the baseball cap! We had Chinese 5-spice short ribs (not on bone)...small portion. Delicious, should have ordered 2. Assorted greens. Pea sprouts delicious. Ordered Wagyu Ribeye steak with Yuzu butter. For $91 it was a rip off. A rib eye that looked like was pounded to make it thin. Flavor good but lots of gristle and didn’t taste any different from a choice cut of rib eye. I wouldn’t order it again. Would I go back? Not sure since there are so many places in Las Vegas. But if we do, would order other things. I would still recommend to others...just not the ribeye. I suspect that other expensive cuts of meat there wouldn’t be worth it either
Absolutely wonderful service, food, and ambience. The fortunate cookie at the end is a perfect final touch :)
Our server was incredible. It was our 20th anniversary, and she brought us out the fortune cookie dessert as a gift (which was AMAZING). All food was great, we did small plates which was great for us. Got a bit loud as night went on, but perhaps not be Vegas Standards. We will go back again
Outstanding from the ambiance to the service! Worth it!
Service was excellent. Beautiful place. Will definitely return.
I have never been so disrespected in a restaurant by a General Manager in my life. This was the worst dining experience and I will report this to Tao’s corporate office as well as cancel my payment. I immediately asked for the bill and left the restaurant for his disgusting and rude behavior.
Excellent food. Music was a little too loud.
This has always been a favorite place to dine when in Vegas but this time we were disappointed. The food was just ok, nothing special. I started with Crispy Pork Boa Buns, they were dry and tasteless. The sushi was good but extremely small. But the staff was attentive and the ambiance was very nice.
We went for my birthday dinner before going out. The food was great, drinks were decent as well. I highly recommend the miso glazed sea bass. It was delicious.
Service and food was excellent!
The food has been excellent on both of my visits. The atmosphere is very nice as is the wait staff and hostess desk
TAO Las Vegas is a restaurant I just keep coming back to because the food and ambiance are great!
Great food and our sever was amazing. Cool to get entry to the club after and skip the line. Definitely coming back again!
The food was divine but the atmosphere was frenetic. The music was late eighties to 2000s hip hop, strangely at odds with the advertised zen or spiritual experience
The host (guy with beard) was very bad. Horrible attitude and made us think about leaving. However our server Jamie W was great, made our dining experience better with her attitude and great service. Food was very good, very slow but the restaurant was packed.
Always amazing food! Next level stuff! Go there every year when we’re in Vegas 😀
Finally sat at table 40 min after reservation time- and we checked in a few min early. Delay in food arrival so they provided a shot per person. Brought out wrong fried rice, but since we were hungry and didn’t want to wait even longer we ate it. Waiter never came back to check on meal. We provided card to pay and took more than 5 min to return. Overall dining took almost 3 hours from arrival to departure at restaurant. Unacceptable for premier Vegas venue in my eyes. Food and drinks were tasty.
Loud, crowded, waited over an hour past our reservation. The food was incredibly salty and average in quality. Definitely wouldn’t go back.
It took 1 hour after the booked slot when finally the table was ready, no specific line doe reservations. Food was good but the long wait plus very loud environment made the experience more poor than expected
Danielle was our server! You could not have asked for a better server! I have celiac’s disease and eating at Chinese restaurants is really difficult and stressful. But Tao is so careful and accommodating with this sensitive allergy! Danielle answered all our questions and was very kind and patient! Thanks for making my parents 45th wedding anniversary so memorable!
I will not return to TAO, although I barely went there in the first place. I arrived 10 minutes before my scheduled time only to find a ~30min line just to check in. I went around the line to see if perhaps that was the walk-in line, but it was not. I asked the woman behind the counter if this was the line even for reservations and she confirmed it was. I joked, 'make a note that I was on time!' with a big smile on my face to which she did not respond, she only looked back at me like I was a massive nuisance. Great customer service! Maybe she didn't hear me - I noted when I went inside that the general volume level was what I could only imagine it sounds like inside the engine of a jet - that is to say, excruciatingly loud. It also looked like they were exceeding the max occupancy level by a factor of 2 with how many people were in there. I returned to the back of the line, waited another 5 minutes or so and we did not move an inch as there was nowhere for anyone to go inside, so we decided rather than get seated around 830 for a 730 reservation (they should stop overbooking immediately) only to basically sit with each other without being able to hear what anyone was saying, we left for a better venue. So in a nutshell, took our reservation but couldn't honor it, treated me poorly, ridiculously loud, and way overpacked, that sums up my experience at TAO.
Service was super slow
Horrible waiters good food
I would recomend this restaurant because is one of the best in the world. The best food and ambiance in Vegas!
