TAO Asian Bistro - Los Angeles
Gave us a tiny table and stuffed the table with big plates making it impossible to enjoy your meal. When I presented the issue, I had to bring it up to upper management before my needs were met. Also I asked 4 times to fix my moving table, before they fixed it. Service has gone down, and it’s sad that they blame covid for poor service. I usually enjoy this place a lot. This time I was very disappointed.
Food, drinks and atmosphere was absolutely amazing. I will definitely be coming back.
Delicious food. The staff was very accommodating. Would highly recommend.
The worst restaurant ever
We had a great time....food was delicious as usual and the service was great
The best place for a date
Wish service improved a bit. They took 10 mins to take our drinks and another 35 mins to tAke our food order
TAO during pandemic is completely different experience, the fact that our server chased us down for a tip when we had already included the gratuity in our bill was laughable. The service has been much better in other occasions but tonight was not a good experience
I requested a specific seating area weeks ahead of time through your App. I Confirmed my request when Tao called to confirm the reservation. When I arrived, they sat my party in a small undesirable area by the kitchen although the area I requested was available. I asked if we could be seated in the requested area. I was told my party couldn’t sit there because we were a party of 4 and that seating area could accommodate up to 6. When I let them know that I had requested that specific area with my reservation, I was told they would do their best to accommodate but no guarantee. 20 minutes later, a party of 3 was seated in the area I had requested.
Amazing service and food!! They just opened the restaurant after the quarantine was lifted and they did an incredible job!
My friend and I had a great time. I was impressed by their Covid-19 preventative safety measures.
This was my first public dining experience since March 2020. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. We drove up from San Diego and it was absolutely worth it. We can't wait to come back. First-rate in every way.
Worst experience ever
Great place to share with friend or to celebrate special moments.
Fantastic time. Our waiter Tony was amazing! We would come back just to enjoy his wonderful company. I know he had a good time too. We love this spot, we love how we are always treated. We really love the food this time. Last time we were a little disappointed. Given the situation with #CV, Overall, five stars. Highly recommend this place. Staff is wonderful as well. We were really taken care of. $500 well spent
Everything was perfect except they never brought out a birthday cake 🎂 although I had written on reservation
It was fantastic as always. Service was great. The views are always on point
The ambiance and food was fantastic. Our server was amazing in suggestions and everyone was very attentive, making sure to bring fresh plates and take away dirty ones when we finished a dish.
Service was the best part, just amazing!
They are handling COVID-19 very well & I felt very safe and comfortable dining there.
Server was horrible. We sat for 20 minutes before we got service. She never apologized for us waiting. She never smiled. I will never go back to this location.
THE BIRTHDAY DESSERT WASN'T FREE THAT WAS SO SAD FOR A HIGH-END RESTAURANT!!!
Great design, decor, and ambiance. The food, drinks, and staff are also great.
Ambience of dining area , guest list , and bathroom were above exceptional . Prices of meals were great even though drinks were a littler on the stronger side and not that great (my only “complaint”). Definitely would visit again .
TAO is my favorite restaurant in LA. The architecture & decor is stunning. Staff is personable & professional. We love the selection in appetizers, entrees & beverages. I am not a dessert person but the banana pudding. tempura banana and fortune cookie crust that my dad was AMAZING!!! The ambience was lively yet we were still able to carry on conversation easily. Thank you for another great experience!
Great food, great atmosphere! I went for my birthday and it was amazing!
Great food and great service! The only downside was that they discontinued the black fried rice!!! 🙄
Beautiful space, worth going for that alone. It's a bit rushed on a Saturday as they want to turn tables, but the service is good. Food is pretty good but it's more of an experience.
The experience was sensational!
It’s was amazing celebrated my cousins 21ST birthday and she had the best time.
Not at this time I can't recommend.
my brother took me for my birthday in December and it was great the wagyu was awesome . I took my wife last Friday waited 40 mins for a over cooked and cold wagyu steak that was suppose to medium rare .A $300 dollar bill for a applebees quality steak .. 😡😤
We had a show too get too and didn't have the time to complain then . Trying to make the most of our night .
2 stars .
Was a great experience at Tao love going there on Tuesday’s. The crowd is amazing. Food is always amazing and service is just wow!
Had an amazing time tonight, all the food and drinks were delicious!! The decor and ambiance were perfect. All the staff were very attentive and extremely hospitable! I highly reccomend the Mango Chili Martini and the Nirvana to drink and the crispy snapper in sand to eat. For desert definitely get the giant fortune cookie! It was fantastic! The vanilla and chocolate mousse inside wasn't too sweet either.
Great bday celebration
Friends enjoyed the restaurant
Amazing like always!!!
the food we ordered wasn’t good. The best things we ordered were the wagyu on the stick and the chicken satay. The dan dan noodles were horrible. We had a crazy drunk lady next to us and she was making a show breaking glasses and acting out.
Good birthday. Love the environment
Always great service. Will tell everyone about this experience.
Great spot! Food was excellent. Staff was awesome! The only issue I had was that it was my husbands birthday, and I asked for a booth and was told that booths were only for 4+ guests. When we got seated, I noticed that at least 6 of the booths had 2 people sitting in them. Not cool but with that said, we still got a nice table. They also hooked up an amazing dessert. Would definitely go back!
