This semi-private area is directly next to our 20-foot tall Quan Yin statue which stands atop a koi pond where 3D projection mapping technology creates animations to bring this signature statue to life. This table requires a 50% deposit & a $1,000 food and beverage minimum. The food and beverage minimum is required at the time of booking + tax and gratuity – (suggested gratuity amount: 20%). All items ordered at your table will go towards your minimum spend. Prix Fixe menus are available upon requests 48 hours prior to your reservation date. We were seated immediately. Our server Jessica was excellent: very professional and welcoming. We had cocktails and ordered 4 dishes. 3 were excellent: chicken satay, Pad Thai noodles, and the chocolate molten cake. The albacore tacos were too salty. It was a wonderful experience.

I've been here many times and unfortunately this will be the last time. Went for my daughter's 15th birthday. They were very accommodating with us being over an hour late due to the Christmas parade traffic blocking the surrounding areas of the restaurant, but besides that, everything went downhill. The food wasn't up to par and from what the waitress told.me the chef wasn't too pleased about me sending it back. The table in the corner next to us also had a birthday celebration in which the staff partaked in singing happy birthday to them but not my daughter (she became even more disappointed). And to top it all off we all ended up with what seemed to be food poising going into the next day and 🥳

Very interesting decor, terraced interior with large dining area at bottom of terraces. Food was great, though a little expensive, but worth it. There was a bit of noise as restaurant got busy. Overall I’d recommend this place. The Peking duck for 2 was to die for.

It is a very large beautifully decorated restaurant. The food is good, nothing super special. The eggplant dish we ordered was undercooked. The eggplant was crunchy. we will probably not go there again.

The food was delicious, although very pricey. Our server started out strong, but once he got busy, his attention was pulled elsewhere. Also, I was disappointed to find all of my to go food was boxed together. The employee didn’t check to see if that was ok. We have some allergies in the group and now we can’t eat some of the food because it was boxed with other items.

Crème brûlée chai is awful. One taste and I didn’t eat it. They ruined it. I asked for a booth when I reserved a table and was place in a small table where u basically have no privacy to be able to enjoy your food. Too crowded and noisy. They Didn’t pay attention to the request I’ve made. The desk valet didn’t grant the validation and took my money that was for a tip for the valet driver. No thank you what so ever from the employees at the front desk or valet that you just gave them business. The food is okay but for the price? Not worth it. I’ve been somewhere better. Waiters forgets my refills twice. Overall. Not going back.

Reservations was at 10:15, they sat us down at 11:15, took our order at 11:30, only brought one appetizer and drinks by 11:45 and by midnight we were all very impatient and hungry. We asked where the food was. They said a few more minutes, we complained to the manager of why it’s taking so long. He basically said it’s Saturday it is what it is, didn’t even apologize, argued with us, so we asked for the check of what came out so far and left. They didn’t even try to stop us or offer any compensation, they said you can get up and go. Very rude about it. Never coming back here again. Their loss we had a party of 7 and they lost on at least a $1,000 check and future business.

Tao is absolutely way overrated and under-performed in service standards. Abysmal reservation waiting times, had to wait 2+ hours to get seated even though I had a reservation for 8:45. Once, we all got seated it took 30+ minutes for a server to come over and greet us and offer drinks or water. After that, they rushed us into ordering and then didn’t come back for another hour, at this point it was already midnight before we got to get our food. When the food finally came, the steak was undercooked and the Mongolian beef was not Mongolian beef - it was absolutely disgusting, and everyone at the table thought so, same with the lobster roll which they refused to remove from the tab despite it being disgusting and making people at the table sick. Water was never being refilled without having to call over a waiter and wait 15+ minutes for them to refill it (something they should be coming around and refilling and checking automatically). Once addressed to the manager working, they couldn’t have cared less and just gave excuses. $350 later a horrific experience was made and will be one we all certainly can’t forget. Would not recommend this place to any high clientele - they will scam you. Never have experienced this kind of service with any other fine dining destination.

The open space for this restaurant is very interesting. It reminds me of a night club. The bar is at the top of the steps, then you have to walk down lots of steps to get down to the dining floor. It’s a young crowd with lots of loud music which is great if that’s your thing. Food isn’t top notch for REAL foodies with palates that know quality. Was curious about this restaurant but not my thing.

I came to TaO for my Birthday and from the second I arrived to the second I left everyone went above and beyond to make sure it was a night to remember. The food is so good! The ambience and music is amazing. I love how cute it is inside. Thank you everyone at TAO!
