TAO Chicago offers guests a sensual trip through the cuisines of Asia. The design-driven restaurant and adjoining nightclub is inspired by the original TAO locations in New York City, Las Vegas and Los Angeles.

TAO Chicago features multiple levels, creating dynamic spaces within the historic building’s shell, while adding TAO’s Asian-influenced DNA to the restaurant, lounge and nightclub including murals by artist Hush and TAO’s signature 16-foot-tall Quan Yin statue anchoring one end of the dining room.

TAO Chicago’s restaurant menu, created by TAO Group Partner and Chef Ralph Scamardella , is complete with Pan-Asian offerings from the sea, sky and land including signature dishes like Satay of Chilean Sea Bass, Crispy Rice Tuna and a Wagyu Rib-Eye.

    Tao never disappoints, the staff is friendly and courteous which matters when you are hosting clients, the ambience is outstanding and the food is good. Only suggestion is to add More options for vegetarians.

    I went for my birthday. The restaurant was extremely kind and thoughtful. We had a wonderful meal with lots of great music and food. I couldn’t have asked for a better day!

    The wait to get the table, even though we had the reservation and arrived on time, was unbearable. Management didn’t try enough to address the issue, and there were several groups waiting for the table. After we revived the table, we had a food experience. Servers were very friendly and food was really good, just the gap between appetizer and main course ( though we ordered everything together) was huge ..

    Everything went well, except we went to the bathroom and they cleared all of our food and our drinks from the table. They tried their best to resurrect our dinner, but to be honest it was ruined. They did offer desserts, but we were definitely over it at that point.

    You can’t visit Chicago without going to TAO! Everything was amazing, from food to service to atmosphere! Can’t wait to go back!

    While our experience was mostly positive there were a few missies. The charred Brussels sprouts weren’t charred and barely cooked. The service started off stellar and dropped off after we ordered our food. The inside is stunning but a the music a bit too loud.

    Front desk is horrible really no point in having a reservation if we can’t be seated on time. Also servers customer service is very poor as well. Food good though.
