   First of all, we were enchanted by the beautiful place. Arriving at the time of ordering food we did not know what to order so tasty and appetizing that the dishes looked at each other. Thanks to the good service of the waiter, he helped us choose. For my taste, we ordered everything, the food was salty. And even if we come because obviously we were hungry.... We went to the bathroom and returning they were already cleaning the table even though we still had the cell phones, bags and bags... I felt very excited. Well, finally when we left the Table when going up the stairs we asked the hostess for a favor to take a souvenir photo.... Rudely he answered me: a photo????? I'm sorry, I have to go right now, I'll be back..... I understand she was busy but it didn't take her 1 minute to do it hamably....

   Great ambience great food, music was a bit loud. Service was great. Loved the decor.

   Always enjoy going to TAO. Food and service never disappoint. Highly recommend the Miso Cod and the Tuna Tartare on crispy rice. However it is also very expensive so we save our visits for special occasions.

   Great experience, though expect to pay about $120 per person with drinks. Would go again.

   Food was great. Service was bad. Hard to find the service person. Order taker was inexperienced. Took wrong order & overcharged $255 for a $85 wine. It took a while to change the final bill

   Service and atmosphere were above and beyond expectations. The food was delicious. Can’t wait to go again.

   Tao sits you in tables so close that it feels like sardines. and of course they serve too much alcohol because that is their business. Almost on top of each other. Then they started serving cold food. Before you know drunk people start to misbehave and 1 drunk lady dropped a heavy glass with water in it and it shattered all over the place cutting my friend's foot. The lady who dropped the glass was on the way to bathroom. She did not apologize. Waiters came to clean. Manager stood there like a deer on a headlight. My friend did not want to make a scene. We quietly ate and left and went to Walgreens to get first aid kit and took care of her. What we should have done is to call the police and ambulance so that there is a record & operation could have been interrupted and there will not stop to this greed by Tao management to maximize their profit. I believe they would make you stand and get your food if they can. This company should be stopped from mistreating their customers.

    I always have liked Tao, but this was the first time at the Chicago one. I was eating with my 7 year old, and everyone was so helpful with a well-behaved child who is still a novice at fine dining. And he remarked that the pork fried rice was the best he’s ever had; coming from NYC, he is a connoisseur.
