   The service was not great. The food was good but not for the price. it was so so loud and we did not get free entry into the nightclub even though we paid $500+.

   Arrived for reservation immediate friendly greeting. Of course I knew it would be a wait due to it being a holiday weekend. The wait turned into almost 45 minutes. As we were sat at a not so great table in a very high traffic area we asked the host about another table that was in arms reach she told us it was for a bigger party 5 minutes later the table was occupied with 2 people just like my friend and I. That was very frustrating because we were told it was for a bigger party although it ended up being 2 just like us. We ordered About 5 or 6 different options of food so we were hoping for a bigger table. We did stop the manager asking for a different table she did offer another table or bar area also a round of drinks were on the house we were very appreciative. Drinks arrived not very good. Starters were good. Some sides were okay. Entrees was amazing. Desert was incredible. We’ve been guests to Tao multiple times, celebrated my 4 year cancer free anniversary and Tao was the place of choice and our experience this go round was a 5/10 this go round

   Food was impressive!! Really enjoyed 3/5 dishes, and then liked the other 2/5. Highly recommend the dim sum sampler, Bao buns, and the crispy rice spicy tuna. The two bluefin tuna role had way too much wasabi, and I like wasabi! And the three pork fried rice was just okay, wouldn’t get it again! Our reservation was set for 7:30pm and we weren’t seated until after 8pm.

   Overall outstanding establishment to eat at and the atmosphere was awesome. What i did not like was latter part of my service. I don't know if they were short handed however I do not like when my drinks go dry and waiting for your waiter/waitress for over 10 minutes is unacceptable. Not to mention when handed your check, again please done take over 5 minutes to take the payment. Please you need to sit there for 5-10 minutes and you may realize that feels like an awfully long time. Honestly I would have tipped much better if the attention was there. If it wasn't for the ambiance and food, I would not be back. Thanks

   Very loud and pricey, yet food is good. Rice is additional price and wait staff doesn’t disclose this, so be prepared.

   The appetizers were excellent: we had the chicken satay, veg dumplings, veg egg rolls and the lamb yakitori. The portions were perfect and delicious. We had the veg lo mein, veg fried rice, Chinese broccoli and the pepper chicken. The broccoli was a bit salty. The chocolate Buddha was excellent and large enough to share with 4 people. The drinks were really good. The service was excellent as was the ambience. Overall amazing dining experience.

   The food was incredible. We were visiting from Canada for a 40th bday and were not disappointed. The service was amazing as well. 5 star experience overall.

   Tao was amazing our server Bella was really helpful with the menu and drinks. The staff was quick and on point. Def would recommend and definitely will come back next time in Chicago!

    My friend and I had a great table overlooking main dining area, The food was tasty and our waitperson Moana was very friendly and attentive. She recommended a very good sake ..that was excellent.
