This is a beautiful spot to watch the action on the Miami River while dining outdoors on a lovely Asian-themed terrace. We were there at 5:30 and made a dinner out of some excellent HH bites. The staff, who were friendly and efficient, told us there’s a new chef who will be changing the menu shortly. But we loved what we had: shrimp tempura roll, sticky ribs, shishito peppers, crab rangoon and —especially— the pork bao buns. Please keep that on the menu! Reasonable prices too.

Such an amazing experience and the food was to die for! I ordered the Wagyu Sandwich which was hands down the best sandwich I’ve ever eaten. Went for a family members graduation & had a great time!

We had a wonderful experience at Tanuki last evening. Our server Jimmy does a superb job. The food is excellent and very fresh. I look forward to going there again

Service and atmosphere excellent. Food was disappointing. Every new meal was worse and worse. Just underwhelming. Fiance had an allergic reaction to the fish

This was one of the more disappointing experiences we have had at a restaurant in some time. The location and ambiance of the restaurant are very nice, but the food,service, and management were very poor. The sushi was not fresh and not cut well, and the edamame mealy. I travel extensively to Japan and this was just not good sushi. The service was poor as well. My main course arrived a good 15 mins prior to my girlfriend’s (we ordered maki and sushi). They should have arrived together at the same time. At the end of the meal we had to go find our server in order to pay the bill. This was after waiting 15 mins for her to bring it to us after we said we had finished eating and we’re ready to pay. The main issue I had was the automatic 20% service charge that was added to the bill which is very questionable for a party of 2. They also were expecting an additional tip on top of that. I refueled to pay that and had the manager remove it. I gave them 8% instead which was definitely far too much looking back on it now.

This restaurant was amazing. Our server Jimmy was exceptional. We had some of the best sushi we’ve ever had. We sat outside on the patio and it was lovely.
