Best sushi in dade
A local favorite. Fresh, delicious sushi and inventive Japanese and Asian cuisine. Live in the neighborhood and I’m a regular. Love the Happy Hour.
Food is exceptional! Large variety of excellent options, but don’t miss uni rice cracker (outstanding)!
Tried the Toro roll: excellent! Takuwan (pickled ...(tastes like the stuff in tsukemono), shiso leaf and of course toro. Great!
Hi Joe3, Thank you for the great review and being a loyal customer. We truly appreciate you. See you soon...
Abbinamenti interessanti, qualità ottima, servizio preciso e veloce.
As usual great place
The restaurant automatically adds a 18%tip to the bill AFTER tax so a 20% tip- beware!
Inventive, creative, delicious! Great service, too!
Food is so so so delicious and they have so many options so anybody can eat there.
Loved the food! our server was very nice and tentative to our needs.
Just great food....& seriously good recommendations by the Maitre'D.
We are weekly regulars here, but until yesterday hadn’t realized it is on OT (live around the corner). Dumplings are superb here. Modern style sashimi on a par with Naiyara and Nobu. Great atmosphere and friendly people.
Thank you for the awesome review Joe3!!! We truly appreciate your support. See you soon....
Best sushi in town without the ridiculous prices.
We were in south beach for the weekend and wanted to get away from the fishbowl drinks and repeat restaurants on ocean ave. Tanuki was perfect- great food, service and drinks... and less expensive too!
Extraordinary fine dim sum. Much more then classic one. Fine taste and nice to see.
Above average food for that price point, and staff very friendly and professional - we went early so don’t know how it is when it’s crowded. Dumplings home-made and tasty. nice looking place overall
Thank you for the great review. See you soon...
Casual neighborhood joint with creative menu. Not crazy Sobe expensive. Great wagyu tacos, tanuki burger, cashew chicken (some of our go-tos). Great waiter from Serbia explained some new menu items and was attentive yet not interrupting.
Hi Roberto, Thank you for the amazing review! We're happy you had a great time. See you soon....
First night out in south beach with an old friend. We came in at 8:30, and the restaurant was moderately busy. The service was friendly and fast. The food was excellent. It was a little bit pricier than I would usually do, but it was worth it.
First time there...great sushi!!! Service was awesome! We will definitely be back. Thanks!!!
One the the best sushi spots in miami
My bird glass drink was super cute and good and my samurai steak and Dumplings were awesome. I really enjoyed. And Decore is super cute.
Tanuki has some of the best sushi in Miami, the staff was very accommodating for a large party.
Great lunch spot for dim sum and although it was quiet we enjoyed the food and ambience. The swords on the wall are a little scary though!
Service was great, food came out in a timely manner. Everything tasted fresh and amazing. The menu had many different options ranging from curry, ramen, and sushi. Can’t go wrong!
great food and service 5* Noise level minimal Families ok, as well
Hi Ken17, Thank you for the 5 star review. We're happy you enjoyed the many food options. We also have an amazing All Inclusive Brunch on Sunday and Happy Hour everyday from 4pm-7pm. See you soon
This place has improved their service/timing...the food has always been great...good martini...try the spicy edamame to start...then Singapore noodle or cashew chicken
The food was just “average” at most, our service was absolutely terrible our waiter rarely came back to check on us. The food is way over priced for that kind of service.
Anniversary getaway and we love trying local and new flavors. From the Cobia Ceviche to the Snapper and everything in between...it was phenomenal. Definitely would go back!
Excellent overall. Had cobia ceviche - sliced very thin with good sauce, Brussel sprouts. Then shrimp moneybags dim sum which was good - Chile sauce was the best of the 3, mushroom hot pot - very filling and tasty with truffle sauce, and summer crab roll - a bit different with crab salad and crispy rice - not the usual roll. Despite comments about poor service, we had good service and it was a busy Saturday night. Will come back.
Tanuki was wonderful! The service, food and drinks were all excellent and I would absolutely recommend it to a friend.
Love the menu options and there is great service!!! So cute inside.
Service was friendly but poor. They have a beautiful place but the staff it’s very into their own time and out of attention
Love this place and the staff took good care of us.
A friend suggested this place for lunch. What a find! I hear it is packed for dinner, but lunchtime was tranquil and calm. The express lunch is a deal — a choice of miso soup or a HUMONGOUS green salad (enough to eat in itself), plus a choice of four entrees, including a tasty sushi combo, plus a bowl of delicious fried rice and mochi ice cream for dessert, all for 23 bucks. Washed it all down with luscious iced green tea. Lively atmosphere. Loved it! We’ll def be back!
Nice place, good food and gorgeous bartender. I strongly recommend this place.
Waitress brought us the wrong item; she reluctantly agreed to reverse the charges
The Sunday "buffet" brunch was not worth it. The place is nicely decorated but upon being seated, the service was pretty much non-existent even though it was a "buffet". After about 10 minutes of staring around aimlessly for someone, ANYONE, we just decided to go for it. The place wasn't even half full so there's really no excuse, especially at $60/per person for some sushi, rice and veggies. The dessert wasn't even something we could choose, it was "chefs choice" so if someone doesn't like thai basil ice cream or chia pudding, they were S.O.L. Would I recommend this place for the brunch? N.O. but nice try Miami Beach.
Foods were realy fresh and came on time
Brussell sprouts was outstanding
Our server(tall guy from Serbia) was so friendly and was smiling during the service
Thank you for coming and for leaving such positive feedback! We will take your comment into consideration and always look to improve. See you soon!
Great food and service. Innovative dishes
Great service, delicious food. Steak portion was small compared to price though.
