Amazing food. Spectacular.
This is one my preferred restaurants in Chicago...... Great Food...and amazing service
Food and service were amazing!!
Just an okay experience. Really wanted to love it. The tables in the area I was seated in were very close together. I can tell you all about the conversations the table next to me was having. And the table next to them.
Food was okay. My boyfriend ordered the steak, nothing special. I had a seafood rice dish. It was just okay as well. Drinks were good.
Our server was helpful in recommendations which is always appreciated.
The ambiance of the restaurant was underwhelming. There wasn't anything special in my opinion. The menu said they had a rooftop, curious what that is like as I definitely love rooftop venues!
When we walked out, I passed two men standing by the end of the bar/by the front door. They looks like management/owners. Neither of them or other staff members acknowledged us on our way out. I am in the restaurant business so that definitely stood out to me after an already lackluster dinner. Not sure I would recommend this restaurant. Maybe for drinks on the rooftop.
The dinner was delicious especially the octopus. Tasty cocktails!
The Pisco Sours and ceviche took us right back to Peru. Everything was very tasty and staff were helpful.
Tanta does a great job showcasing incredible Peruvian cuisine and its meshing together of distinctly different tastes, flavors, ingredients and traditions. A really, really good restaurant.
Simply amazing! Highly recommended. Food was delicious although high in caloric content.
I was not pleased with this restaurant at all. We were promised the second level was quieter yet with a party of about 20 people nearby, our table of 4 had to shout to be heard. The food is just horrible. The only thing I enjoyed was the less expensive pisco sour even though the waiter tried very hard to upsell me to the more expensive one. I paid $60 with tip for 1 entree, drink, tip. Too much for the seafood mixto that was not enjoyable to eat.
