Service was so friendly and helpful. The food was awesome. We weren’t that hungry so the 2 of us ended up just having 4 small plates and that was perfect. We loved the green beans. So glad we decided to go here.
Absolutely love this place. If you go early enough to beat the dinner crowds (we aim for 5ish), the noise level is fine. Food and drinks are outstanding, and we love the semi-private booths.
I had the most wonderful experience here! Everything from the valet, service, and food was impeccable. I got the kung pao cauliflower (I'm a vegetarian) and it was one of the best dishes I have ever had! I cant wait to come back - thank you for giving me and my sister such a great dining experience Tansuo!
Wok & Wonton Wednesday...food is amazing, great spice and flavor combinations. John was very detailed with descriptions and drinks.
We love tansuo. Wish this place was more busy + patronized! We usually go early, and the clientele picks up ~7, but it's SUCH GOOD FOOD and SUCH A GOOD BARGAIN and SUCH FABULOUS atmosphere, I wish it were better received. There's so little good Chinese/Cantonese in town, even with all the new restaurants. Maneet has it down! Wok Wednesdays are a great deal and we love the Moko Black sauvignon blanc for 50% off. Service is always good (and they're starting to recognize us as regulars). My *only* complaint would be the banquet seating material is WORN OUT -- rips and tears on the seating doesn't convey well to diners that I'd recommend to dine here...
Thanksgiving dumplings were out of control!! And the regular food was great too. Beautiful restaurant, attentive service, great food. Will be back soon!
Vegetarian spring rolls (about $8?) are small but tasty. Excellent flounder (28, MP) it's just that there were a couple of delays and it was hard to get waiter's attention on aisle of 2nd floor since it is only used for passing through. Music was a bit loud, and not very engaging. I should have done valet parking with a $5 tip; it was $7 for 2 hours of self-parking in a lot, about a block away.
Wonderful food. Upper bar area is amazing.
Most definitely try the pork belly fried rice! It was amazing!
Fun night celebrating a birthday/Thanksgiving. Cool vibe and good food. Definitely will be going back.
The host/hostess were very awkward and tried sitting us at the bar even though we made a reservation, which was weird considering it was a Monday night and the restaurant had like 15 open tables. Then the hostess forgot which direction the table was so we went back and forth in the front of the restaurant 3 times. For the first 15 minutes, we had 2 waiters that were both trying to get our drink order and water. After that, I think they figured it out and we only had one waiter who did a good job. The food and cocktails were amazing!
Excellent in every aspect every single time I go there. Food, service, Ambience, everything excellent.
We loved the whole experience. I would recommend Tansuo for any small or large group celebration.
The chili oil dumplings were our favorite!
I was super disappointed in our experience, not due to Bartending or Wait staff, more the hostess and food. We walked in about 4:50 as we had a 5 pm reservation. Not realizing they didn't open until 5 or we would have made 5:30 reservations. We like to have cocktails before dinner to relax. The hostess said they were still closed? Why are your doors open then? It was an odd exchange and granted she was very young, but still she said she couldn't help us for another ten minutes? My husband, who never stops at Go or collects his $200, made a dash for the bar the second we arrived. He didn't realize they weren't open yet...oops! The bartender was super sweet and said he'd be happy to serve us as long as we didn't mind that he was still setting up? Heck no! You scratch my back and I'll scratch yours and that's how you treat a customer! We sat for a bit and finished our drinks prior to heading back to the hostess to be seated. We were given a booth, thank you! We ordered a great bottle of wine and some apps. The hot chili dumplings were super gummy, barely filled and luke warm. The shishito peppers were more bonito flakes then peppers and a very small amount of peppers at that. The chicken wings were very tasty but small wings. My husband was still hungry so ordered the late night noodles. Now at least that was a good portion size! He said they honestly reminded him of Pei Wei though. Our waiter was very nice, John I believe, and his style matched our dining speed, so that worked out in our favor. We didn't think the food was very good overall and will probably stick to the Chef's other two spots moving forward.
Everything was wonderful! Food, wine, service! Not much more to say. ☺️
This was an amazing experience and lovely surprise on our first visit to Nashville. Between the two of us we had three appetizer and two meals. Their cocktails were refreshing and the spices and flavors made us wish we had one more day in Nashville.
It was the best place to have a nice birthday with my husband. The food was amazing and then some! I am waaaay more excited for the cooking class now!
Absolutely amazing. The entire experience was surprising. The food was amazing!!
Highly recommend - each dish was delicious. I would eat the Sichuan dry fry okra daily if I could. Staff was friendly and attentive, decor was cool, all good things. Their Nashville twists on some of the dishes was awesome too.
4th time there and the appetizers are always great. Dry fried Okra is still on the slime vs crisp side, and dry fried beef could have used more sauce and could have been a little more crispy.
Very slow service, food didn’t come out at the same time, never got certain items. Usually love this place but was very disappointed this time.
Great food, service, and experience all around! We will go back soon!
Food was great! Service was on point.
Be-Hive Takeover was amazing!
We had a date night for the BEhive vegan takeover night and it blew us away. It was our first time to go and we loved the atmosphere and more importantly the food. We ordered off the vegan menu and the regular menu and all the food was insanely good. I’ve already recommended it to friends. Will definitely go back.
We went for the Be-Hive menu takeover and were not disappointed at all. The cocktails were perfect and my date ordered off the regular menu and was perfectly happy.
I was blown away with my experience dining here tonight. The atmosphere was casual, contemporary, and just felt like good quality dining. The staff was lovely and attentive and even though it was packed - I loved every minute of it.
We went tonight for the vegan menu pop up with BeHive and had a blast. While enjoying the BeHive menu, we also had the Crispy Togarashi Potatoes which were delicious! We can't wait to come back and try more of the vegan friendly vegetable dishes.
Also! Tànsuŏ, if you want to add any of the BeHive dishes to the menu, our votes are for the Crispy BEef or Mushroom Shumai Dumplings. They were incredible.
This place was amazing. EVERYTHING we ate was delicious- and we had 5 people in our group. The service was great, and the atmosphere was fun. Would definitely recommend, and will definitely be back
I liked the atmosphere. The service was great. Food was excellent!
Food was outstanding. Service was not so great. Waiter was gone for long periods. Perhaps he was new and just didn't know what he was doing.
Noise level was much better than Mockingbird. Decor is beautiful. Food was delish!
Absolutely wonderful date experience. Would highly recommend. We'll definitely be going back
The Cheng Duck Dumpling appetizer was very spicy, after our server assured us that it was not (the general manager later insisted on not charging us for this dish) The Vegetable Spring Rolls were very good and the Thanksgiving Turkey Dumplings were especially tasty. The Peking Duck was a bit on the dry side, but the Shanghai Red Pork Shank was outstanding.
Our server was very nice, but disappeared for long periods of time without checking to see how we were doing.
The ambiance was attractive with comfortable booths and very high ceilings. The restaurant was not full, so the noise level was moderate,, and we could easily converse without shouting. While the experience was a bit uneven, we would go back, as there were definitely more positives than negatives
Delicious food and good service!
Fun to have a dim sum in Nashville!!
Fantastic brunch. Food is delicious. Can not wait to return.
Perfect. One of Nashville's hidden gems. Best General Tso's ever and incredible Dim Sum.
Highly recommend the Japanese inspired cheesecake with Matcha dust.
Great food. Wonderful atmosphere.
It was amazingly delicious with a fantastic modern Asian atmosphere. We look forward to many more evenings at Tansuo!!!
Really liked the lanterns and decor. Food was great and we had a great experience. Our server Johnathan (I believe) was awesome. He Made great recommendations and was very attentive. The new 3 cup chicken dish was delicious. Short ribs and Dan Dan noodle were great also.
Wonderful food, perfect service and fabulous atmosphere....what more could you ask for?
