Fish was dry. Luck of taste . Stakes was good. Not enough lighting during dinner.
The weather was perfect we had ample time to chit chat, dance if we wanted. Food was great, staff was friendly. Music was wonderful.

Truly lovely dining facilities. Beautiful rooms for the diners to enjoy their meals. Very good wait staff. They were very kind and helpful. The food was presented well and it was delicious. We would certainly return for future events, and recommend the Tanque Verde Ranch to our family and friends.
Another option or two would have been appreciated, even as simple as different burger options and/or steak options, and or a steak salad, etc. Nothing to expand the kitchen inventory; just another couple options with the already arranged food of the day.
I ordered the burger for $16 and it was at best a $9 quality (6oz meat, 2 strips thick cut bacon, slice of cheese, bbq sauce). Where’s the added touch at 16 bucks? Fried onions or grilled onions and or grilled mushrooms and or jalapeños and or hatch chili’s and or napales ... and 6 oz? I thought this was America, and on a literal dude ranch no less. My wife ordered the cauliflower “steak”. She really liked it all, though thought it was high priced at $16 for a slice of cauliflower with fixens.
Dessert wasn’t on the menu nor offered by staff; we found out days later it was an option.
Breakfast here is AWESOME! (Huevos Rancheros with a 3rd egg, and chorizo is OMG)
Dinner is ok.
The Saturday BBQ is a MUST.
Main thing I learned: Don’t be afraid to ask for anything you may actually want as they’re happy to oblige, but you don’t know what you don’t know.
The food was generally good because one moment it was out of the barn delicious, then others were delicious but not how I asked I prefer my meal. It was basically how would you like it and then this is what you get it. I never hated it just wish attention to detail. The rest of the experience was more of a learning experience and it was ecstatic and why everyone should be here. Amazing experience overall and awesome staff and guest
The food was delicious. Ambience was wonderful. The guitarist/singer was excellent!
Dinner was wonderful with a choice of Mahi-Mahi and steak. The sides were tasty and the entertainment very enjoyable. Plan on a fall trip as this was beyond our expectations.
The service was great and the food was okay. I understand that this is a ranch in Tucson with horses, but my husband and I swatted and killed four flies during dinner that were bothering us. I wish they would have tried to limit the amount of flies in the dining room area better, because it would have made the experience more enjoyable.

We had dinner in the dinning on Thursday and Friday night. The meals were fantastic. Our entire table ordered the prime rib on Thursday. It was some of the best I have ever had. On Friday I ordered the mussels and my husband had the filet mignon. They were flavorful and perfectly prepared. Warning the portions are huge.
Amazing food and service. Fresh ingredients, exquisite presentation, and almost too gorgeous to eat. The first bite proves the taste is as good as the presentation.
We had an amazing time with the outdoor activities in the friendly staff we will definitely be back!!
Well it was wonderful except we arrived at 9:30 am as they were closing. They were not aware that Opentable was advertising them. They said it wasn’t supposed to start until later this month.
They were extremely accommodating, let us stay and have a wonderful experience.
Will go back.
