Tanque Verde Cantina - Grand View Lodge
Our appetizers were sub-par and overpriced: The chips were dry & had zero flavor. The salsa tasted like Pace out of the jar. The calamari was overly fried, dry, and also very little flavor.
Our tacos were great. My Oregon Bubbly Rosé was delish. There was fun live music. Our server, Kathryn was attentive and sweet. I loved being outside. The setting is beautiful.
I’d go back for drinks, for sure. The appetizers could use a reboot.
Get carry outs instead of making reservations. Social distancing was NOT happening
Food was terrible, taco meat was overcooked/dry, barely any meat/toppings on nachos. Expensive. Service mediocre.
Great outdoor setting and solid food. The waitstaff are friendly and attentive.
This was a convenient place to eat on our first night at Grand View. We were seated right away on the patio. Lovely food. Service was a bit slow, but it was busy. Fish tacos were very good. Not a large menu but something for everyone.
Menu limited because of Covid. Tables were far enough from each other. Had to walk through a group of people to get out of the bathroom hallway. No mojitos. View was spectacular, food was delicious and the people were friendly
The food was OK. The setting is very nice, by the beach and lake with nice views. I think the kitchen here just assembles the food, with no cooking done on site.
Tacos were good but calamari were too fried. There was absolutely no taste of calamari left they were so fried.
Good food, good value. The view was great as you are sitting just off the lake. They seemed a little short staffed for the food service but you could tell the workers were running hard and doing what they could. I would happily go back
