Tano Bistro - Loveland
Always good flavors and different experience. Love to fit on roof top when good weather. Servers very fun and friendly.
Food was very good, our server was very friendly but very busy. Food portions were not huge but adequate and fairly priced, given the quality. Drink prices were about 30% more expensive than expected. The only downside was the noise, this place needs some sound deadening. We were at a small inimiate table and could barely hear each other.
Experience was just okay - our server was great. Our dinner was good - portions for price wasn’t great. We got the salmon and the special. Problem was the dessert. We paid $10 for “Apple crisp”. There was nothing crispy about it. I suspect the put some cake mix down, spooned out some luke warm cinnamon apples from jar and added a scoop of ice cream. That’s not what I would expect from this place. It was our first time and we’d heard good things but won’t be back.
We made a meal out of the shareable appetizers and every one was delicious. We are never disappointed when dining at Tano’s.
Food was excellent! Always is when we go. Wish they’d bring back the early bird special option so we could frequent more often! Pricing will afford us less opportunity to enjoy our favorite restaurant.
My family and I loved the Sunday brunch. Great selection and good sized portions. Service was excellent and we liked shopping in the downtown afterwards. My new favorite spot!
Just brunch with friends. Everything was great!
Tano brings upscale dining to Loveland. No need to travel downtown for a well crafted meal. The rooftop bar is great as well.
My dinner was not only delicious, it was an artful presentation.
We ordered 2 appetizers and they were also amazing!
Sprouts ‘n Snouts dish had been cooked a while back and probably kept under hot lamp. It was dry and blackened and slightly bitter. The staff brought a fresh one right away, after I let them know that the first one was inedible
Amazing food and atmosphere in the heart of Loveland. The Mafongo appetizer was definitely a bonus.
We eat at Tanos regularly. It’s definitely in our top 10.
Very nice good food and friendly service!
Always a treat - great food and a great time!
Prompt and friendly service too.
We ate on the roof top dining area. Very nice. The food was good. However the service was poor. We didn't have a coordinated team of servers.
We were disappointed with our recent visit. The restaurant was not very busy but our service was inattentive. The portions were very small. The flavor was good, but we were still hungry after we ate. We did not think the restaurant was a good value. I don’t think I will be returning anytime soon.
The only thing that I could suggest in making the dining experience better would be lower lighting ( or lights on dimmers ) on the second floor. It is such a beautiful room but almost felt like cafeteria lighting. The service was fantastic and the food amazing. We will definitely recommend your restaurant to friends and family. It was well worth the drive from downtown Cincinnati !
Enjoyed a great meal with several outstanding specials. The main menu offers a wide variety of choices - so you'll find something you like
First time back since the fire, and it was a big disappointment. Checked in before 7 for 7:15 reservation, and were told by Andrew (General Manager) that it is first come first serve for the rooftop and a 45 minute wait with no ability to reserve. We decided to just wait for our inside table, sat at the bar and at 7:30 decided to just go ahead and order and eat there. In the meantime a couple came in right after us and were seated on the rooftop within 5 minutes. When Andrew came by at 7:45, for curiosity we asked about what happened with our inside table, and he said we had "fallen off his radar". Bartender was great but food was just ok. We won't be back and will tell others not to bother.
Great tasting food. Lived the Happy Hour appetizers and drinks. Filet Mignon was perfect.
We are big fans of Tono's Bistro. This was our first time there since the rebuild. Love the new look and the space. While our food was good, I was a little disappointed with our service. I ordered an omelette and asked for the tomato to be excluded. It came with the tomato. Once our server came back to our table (it took a little while), she placed in order for a new one. I would have expected somewhat of an apology. Maybe because we were celebrating our anniversary I expected everything to go well or for our server to care a little more. With that said, we would go back.
Service was a little slow but we were fine with it I suspect others might not have been as patient as we were. Food was excellent. The flip side is we definitely did not feel pressured to order eat or pay fast
Outstanding service, delicious food...one of the best brunch spots in greater Cincinnati.
Service was fair. He did not tell us the Specials, until I ask. The food was just OK, not unusual or that interesting. It was pricey. The location is interesting for people watching. Parking was difficult in a very busy, congested downtown area.
First time visit with a party of 5, we sat on the 3rd floor outside. We ordered our food and waited for more than an hour to get the food, the waitress wasn’t clear as to what took so long but was sorry for us having to wait so long
The food was good for our entire party, it’s just that having to wait so long makes it more difficult to enjoy the meal
Our table was offered a free desert which was thoughtful and we accepted to go, but none of us were planning on a desert anyhow
We will probably go back at some point because other than the long wait for our food, we enjoyed the area
Great food. REALLY loud.
This was simply an outstanding experience. Great Food, Great Atmosphere and Great Service!
Everything was v v good- not perfect but still a stellar place to eat.
Great service, great food, great ambiance!! Also, very accommodating!! We’ll be back!!!
P.S. Would love to see a more extensive wine list next time😉
Tano is hands down my favorite restaurant not only for the quality and delicious food but also the high caliber of people who work there. Service is top notch with a smile! Highly recommend!
Tanos is very nice, but I caution against overselling it. The menu is adequate, but just adequate.
Service is inconsistent, but friendly and not terrible. I live in Loveland so its edge is the convenience, and I prefer it for a dinner out to either Rameys (too casual) or Bishops (menu too unvaried).
Fabulous food and friendly staff. Thank you! I will return.
Loved it. Great service from both the our interesting and informative waitress and the bartender. Food had great variety and was very good. We shared plates so tried much of the menu!
Have always really enjoyed dining at Tano, so decided to try their brunch. The food was ok, not quite as good as I’d have expected. The service was very poor this go round, which is unusual. Seemed like they were training new servers or something, which may have accounted for it. I can’t say I’ll be going back for brunch again, but will definitely continue to visit for dinner.
The filet was prepared exactly as requested med rare. The eggplant linguine had three large eggplant medallions. Nice and crispy. The sauce had chunky texture that I like. They don't have any beer on tap which I would have preferred.
This was our first time to tano since the fire and renovation. The space looks great, our service was excellent and everything we ate worthwhile and delicious! Lovely for a higher end date night
Loved the food preparation. Beautiful and wonderful service by Michele.
Three of had the stuffed salmon and it was great One had the pork chop and the chop was cold. The plate and other items on the plate were hot but not the chop. We also had salads and they were delicious
We recommend Tano's to everyone. We took friends on our last visit and they loved it. The food was delicious. We ate upstairs for the first rime and it was great. Our server Bethany was great smiling engaging and met al of our requests. We will be back.
