    This is such a pleasant place to dine. A nice variety in menu choice, lovely energized atmosphere, while still being able to talk and hear your companions. The salmon with crab stuffing was excellent! Delicious bread pudding was for dessert.

    Super cute little Bistro in downtown Hamilton. Went with a friend, and we both enjoyed our meals and dessert. Our waitress was super helpful and friendly. Would recommend this place to anyone.

    The menu is limited and 3 of us ordered the Cod dinner only to learn after our order was placed they were out of cod so we had to order something else, disappointing.I was really bragging on that dish to my guests. Since it was my 70th birthday.T he email from Tano Bistro said I would receive a Tano Bistro wine glass and a $50.00 voucher to Welling & Company. Never received either after I showed our waitress the email. I guess they felt sorry about that but did receive a gift card from them for $20.00.

    My aunt wanted to visit Tano Bistro in Hamilton for her birthday. We had a group of 5. Our server, Mia L. , was excellent. Very patient and helpful with everything. My aunt enjoyed the salmon croquettes minus the ciabatta roll, and a glass of Prosecco which she had never had. The rest of us had the pulled pork sandwiches with salads or fries. Very tasty. Since it was a birthday, they surprised my aunt with a decadent chocolate dessert. It was delicious and so rich we all had a bite! The only criticism I might have would be the asparagus which was part of the croquettes. It was quite woody and probably wouldn't have been missed. The substitution of a small amount of salad under the croquettes might have been preferable at this time of year (just a thought).

    We so enjoyed our evening at Tano. We love sitting at the hightop near the bar. The food and drinks were very enjoyable and, frankly, Alex was the absolute best. She offered good suggestions from the menu and was suitably attentive. And those final dessert martinis -- awesome. Thank you for having us!

    Everything was delicious. To drink we had regular coffee and a Bloody Mary and then we ordered the Brekkie Bowl and Eggs Benedict. The coffee was sooo good and the Bloody Mary was the perfect amount of spice. My eggs Benedict was delicious but also loved that it came with 2 sides so it was a great amount of food for the value. Will definitely be going back! Our server was also friendly and was always making sure we were all good

    We like Tano, however the furniture is very uncomfortable. It’s always cold inside the restaurant. Customers were wearing coats. Seems like we all always rushed.

    The food was terrible, the mushroom pasta dish was truly bizarre and the sirloin steak was as tough as nails. The surf and turf special was stupid expensive ($55!) which had the same tough sirloin steak, 4 small shrimp, 2 broccoli florets and a small amount of tasteless fettuccine. The server was quite lovely but it hardly made up for the bad food.

    We wanted to eat somewhere close to the Rivers Edge park since we were attending a concert that evening. Made a reservation online and showed up a few minutes later than scheduled. Walked into an almost empty restaurant and the male host greeted us seemingly annoyed and asked if we had a reservation (which was hilarious considering the whole place was empty). We got sat and he said that it would be a few minutes before our server could stop by because she just got double sat. Totally understandable - I was a waitress for many years in college and know it sucks when you get sat multiple times or are the only server on the clock early in the evening. 20 minutes later, a different server shows up and eventually greets us. Very nice young lady who said she would be right back with our two beers. 10 minutes later, our drinks show up. We ask if we can order and she happily writes it all down and said she would be right back with our appetizer of a bread basket. 15 min later, she stops by and asks if we got our bread because our entrees are already ready. She could have looked at our empty table and realized that there was no bread, then asked if we still want it. We declined and said we’d like our burgers - no problem just take the bread off our tab. The fries were undercooked and greasy. $18 burger was fine. Never came back to check on us. Had to waive her down to ask for our check. Of course, the bread appetizer was still on our bill and had to ask her to remove it, which added another 10 minutes to the experience. The whole time in this restaurant, there were only four tables (including us), so I’m not sure how the service could have been so awful. Food was just ok. I have no idea how we had such a bummer experience at this restaurant- it looks so nice and the menu looked great online. Should have saved $40 on our $70 tab and ate at the chicken and waffles place next door.

    This was our second visit to Tano Bistro in Hamilton. The food is extraordinary, one of the best restaurants in the area (including Liberty Twp and West Chester, along with Hamilton). There are both familiar items and unique dishes that make this an interesting place to come. The ambiance is upscale casual (is that a thing?). They have both indoor and patio seating, and parking is convenient. I highly recommend this restaurant.

    The lamb ravioli was OUT OF THIS WORLD. We got the last one so all four of us shared it. Needs to be a regular on the menu PLEASE. SHRIMP GUAC is a meal In itself. Also the first time anyone ordered a steak. Not the tenderest piece of meat ( sirloin) but great flavor. We would have again.

    This restaurant has to only be open due to the food being amazing. When we got there they said they didn’t have our reservation. Then I have no word to explain how slow the service was, getting a drink from the bar took twenty minutes. We left before we could get second drinks but the food was amazing. The shrimp and guac appetizer was amazing, highly recommended!

    Some of the food was excellent but our meals came with choice of dessert and the banana pudding was tasteless creamy soup with a little coulis drizzled on top. NO BANANA flavor whatsoever and not the consistency of pudding. Everything we ordered took ages to receive. Drinks ordered upon being seated didn't arrive until after we'd finished the bread. Very slow and they were not very busy so that is not an explanation. We've been there several times but this time took a family elder and we were embarrassed by our choice. We will try it again but would hesitate to recommend at this time.

    As much we wanted to enjoy this meal it was interrupted by a terrible server. We ordered bread and drinks. Received our drinks quickly. Very well done. We then ordered our appetizers. Quite a few minutes later the server walked by and I asked when the bread would be coming. The server stated it would be with the appetizers. Not really what we wanted but not the worst thing. The bread and appetizers arrive and about a minute later out come our dinners. We ask that they be held in the kitchen as there is no room and we have had maybe one bite. This was the same server. About 90 seconds later the same server brings back the main course again. So we just decided to keep it and finish our appetizers. Finishing five minutes later and begin our main course. The food was fantastic. The meal was forced on us very quickly. As the restaurant was busy but no one was waiting for tables and there we’re available tables I didn’t understand why we were being rushed. It was just two of us and we finished paid and left. As we were leaving my wife stated to me that the service was terrible. Happily some one must have heard her and they called me on the way home to apologize and offer to comp us an appetizer on our next visit. We will return because the food is excellent. The servers probably need more training. Please go the food is outstanding and the last time we were there we had one of the best experiences with the wait staff in this part of the country.
