Really bad food!!!!!!. 3 of us ate there and only 1 person liked the food and they ordered fish tacos. The chop salad was terrible! When a salad arrives all "white "you know it is going to be bad. there was not a piece of green lettuce on the plate, it was tiny bits of white rind, the smoked chicken contained grisly bits, fat and bones. It was white lettuce, chicken and cucumbers. that was it. The other entree equally bad was the brisket enchiladas. They arrived dry and flavorless. The corn tortilla was so dry it could not be cut with a fork, you had to use a knife. And there was no flavor. We left this meal hungry- it unfortunately is a meal we will never forget. This will always be "remember that terrible meal we had at that restaurant........

Great service! Nice ambiance. Great location. Been here at least 3 times. All 3 times, the food is just okay. Good. But just food. Nothing notable. Nothing memorable. Fish tacos are good but too spicy. Decent joint for drinks and food. We just never leave there saying how we can’t wait to return. So, its a good place to go when in the Stockyards, but not on our tops list.

Very disappointed! Understaffed, it took thirty minutes to place our order, 45 minutes for our food to arrive and it must have been forgotten about because it was cold and soggy. Our waitress offered to comp 2 drinks and brought them, then she said she could only comp one meal, which was the same price as one drink and charged us for the two drinks. We ended up paying more for our terrible meal than we actually ordered.

Our food and drink were great! Our reservation as let go 10 minutes after the set time (traffic could not be avoided) so we sat at the bar. Service at the bar was slow but friendly.

First time there and while the venue is nice, the food was poor and service was not good. For a Tim Love establishment to serve tough as nails beef brisket is embarrassing. The place was empty as it was 510pm when ordered our drinks but it took 15 minutes to get our drinks with two bartenders doing more talking than working.

The burger was awesome! The chips were ok. Kind of had too much seasoning on them. The bartenders were not very professional. Joking around and acting unprofessional in front of customers and even the manager was allowing it.

Server was a pleasant young lady; however, she probably needs more training. Meal was mediocre, at best. I had a hamburger that lacked in flavor, and I do not recall any condiments on it. Just bread, meat, and maybe some type of sauce. I spit out, what I assume were two pieces of bone that were mixed in the meat. French fries were okay. My wife had the fish tacos, which she said were "okay", however, shortly afterwards she began feeling poorly (stomachache and I will leave out the graphic details.) It was our first time visiting a Tim Love restaurant. After reading the website we had higher expectations. Can't imagine wanting to visit another one in the future. We arrived early and they were able to seat us immediately. Our waiter was great, very friendly and helpful. The queso we ordered was ok, chips were stale that came with it. When the food arrived, fries were cold but we ended up eating them all because how they are cut and they were seasoned so well. Burger and fried chicken sandwiches were hot, and very good. Great mixed drinks.

Rather disappointed with my experience. We made reservations to eat here on the same night as a concert…for convenience. Unfortunately, there was nothing convenient about eating here. We were told they were understaffed…we had to wait for our table, our food. The food itself was great…the service and experience…not so much.

The food was outstanding. We visited on Friday night, and we had reservations thru Open Table. We were seated immediately. The food was fresh and prepared in such a way that I have never experienced (chicken fried steak). Delicious!!! Our server, Courtney, was attentive and friendly. The manager, Cory, spoke to us and explained how some of the food we ordered was prepared. He was very nice and knowledgeable. The prices were reasonable. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. I highly recommend the Tavern.

This was my second time to eat here! Obviously I enjoyed it enough to return but this time was not as great as the first time. I was a tad disappointed. WHile my husband's fried bologna sandwich was great my half roasted chicken was dry. My friend ordered the stroganoff and was happy with the flavor but there needed to be more noodles. It was very over sauced. The drinks were great and the appetizers were yummy- we had the crab dip and the tuna tacos! I will give it another try and hope the 3rd time is the charm.

The place was great. The service was good. The food was actually really good except for the fact that it came out ice cold. I told the sever not to return it. But still expected a visit from the manager or some other attempt to make the experience better, it didn’t come. The restaurant was not at all busy during the visit.

Great server and the place was overall really cool. Definitely would go back to explore their second half where the coffee tables and live music is. The food was good, the dishes I had (skirt steak and mozzarella sticks) I don’t feel were worth their cost but what my boyfriend had (crab dip) he said was amazing. I would definitely go back to try something different. I saw a lot of yummy looking dishes going by to other tables. Drinks were great and appropriately strong, not watered down. Noise level was on the louder side, felt like I was having to raise my voice to talk to my boyfriend across the table and it seemed a lot of other tables were doing the same. Overall, because of the service, the drinks and the in general ambience/location I would try it again!

Ok. Tannahills Venue for concerts is great, BUT I don't recommend eating there. Go somewhere else. While it is a place that has the famous Tim Love (chef) the food was pretty lame and the service was worse. TLDR; don't go for the food and service, they were terrible. But the concert venue is great Ok. So we had tickets for a Tuesday 8pm show, and we decided to try eating there since we have been to Tannahills several times for concerts. Not crowded at all, and our wait person was covering only two tables (max 4 people over the two tables). Ordered the pretzel to start off with, and it was decent, then we ordered the fried chicken sandwich and the fish tacos. The fish tacos were 3 street tacos (for $15), so $5 for a small taco. No sides come with that order. The first taco was ok, but the second, oh no, tasted really off. They over seasoned the fish because after taking a bite, I realized how strong the fish smell was... Strong fish smell. Seemed they overly seasoned the fish to cover up the smell. Obviously it was not very fresh. Could not finish the dish... nor try the third taco. The chicken sandwich was mediocre, with some Texas potato chips on the side. Now the service was very bad because I kept asking for water and refills and our wait person would disappear. I ended up refilling our water and tea. They use glasses that don't hold a lot of water, or tea... Yeah, wanted to like the Tavern portion but alas, not going to recommend this to anyone. Granted, it's in the Stockyards, but for those prices, with poor quality food and terrible service, I think we know there are other places to visit

Inedible food and middle of the road pricing. The seafood tacos are made with mahi mahi which is a light fish. The dish was seasoned so heavily, I couldn’t finish more than 1 of 3 tacos. We ordered side salads which didn’t show up with our tacos - we had to ask our waiter after about 10 minutes. It’s unclear on the menu that the entrees don’t come with sides which wasn’t explained to us. The service was fine but he didn’t come around much. Other servers were around that helped us get water, utensils, and even our check. If he had come more often, we would’ve ordered more cocktails. The restaurant is loud but that’s expected given the venue. There are many other places in Fort Worth and the stockyards.

Great location, in the stockyards; festive and fun. Lots of activity, with a band set up and a band playing in the venue. Great lighting and a comfy area, food was not great depending on what you had. CFS was big and good with green beans and mashed taters...smoked brisket plate was served on a cutting board w/3 slices of thin brisket, with refried beans? Cole slaw or mac & cheese would have been a better side. All in all, an excellent experience, and plan to return. My buddy asked for a Cointreau-based drink and the bartender made up something special that he thoroughly enjoyed.

Our first visit to Tannahills. We were fortunate to hit Happy Hour. Drinks and burgers were great. Our server was good and attentive. My husband tried the oysters. He is an oyster lover. Although he really enjoyed them, he prefers them fresh without all of the cheese on top. Would be great to have an option. We look forward to coming back to Ft Worth. Thank you. PS, music is super loud, a bit difficult to talk I’m the restaurant area.

We orderer chips and salsa $12 for the table and they barely brought out a small handful of chips initially so we had to ask for them to bring more chips twice before we got all of our orders. My husband ordered stroganoff $22 which for the price and large size of bowl we were very surprised at how much was actually served. The stroganoff was mostly made up of mushrooms with not as much pasta or meat. My husband being a big guy was VERY disappointed and hungry when we left. My daughter got a burger w house chips $17 and I just ordered a side of $9 mashed potatoes. The burger and the potatoes were cold when we finally got them, well after my husbands food was served. The burger was way under cooked in the center and chips seasoning was bland, not what was expected of a TL restaurant. The mashed potatoes were just that, no seasoning at all, just potatoes mashed and served without anything else into or on them. With a few drinks and these food items we spent around $100 and I told my husband unless something amazing happens we will not be going back here to eat ever again. Maybe we will have better luck at the Mexican restaurant TL owns around the backside of Tannahills Tavern.

We were excited to visit another Tim Love special. The interior fits perfectly with the Stockyards and wasn't too crowded. We really liked being able to hear the guitarist while enjoying our dinner. The waitress was very nice and helpful, and the food was good. I really liked the giant pretzel appetizer with slightly liquidy queso. I will say that it was a bit strange eating beef stroganoff out of a bowl, though. Also, the waitress offered margaritas as a suggested drink right off the bat, but clearly, the bar tender doesn't make margaritas. I was served a glass of tequila with some sweetened lime juice and had to ask for extra lime juice just so I could swallow my drink. I've never had to do that before in my life. It would be better if they either learn how to make a decent marg or simply don't offer them. Go to Tannahill's Tavern, enjoy the food, and stick with beer or wine.

The food was amazing. I just went with some friends and we decided to get a bunch of appetizers which were delicious. The giant pretzel was my favorite. My only issue is the size of the drink ware. Ordered a water and you get it in the smallest glass so our server was constantly at our table having to refill but other than that everything was great

The whole experience was amazing! It was the first time we have been there and we will definitely go back. The food was delicious, the ambience was awesome and the service was great! We would definitely recommend it to everyone! Great experience!
