   Definitely won’t go back sorry. Food was very salty. Everything was salty, even the salad we ordered was salty. Fries were cold too. Drinks were not great either, we think they forgot sugar in the strawberry cocktail because it was so sour. Definitely eat somewhere else.

   Food was good, not outstanding, but good. Ordered the birthday cake for desert to share. It was terribly dry and disappointing. Service was good, venue was good. Probably would not be our first choice in the Stockyards to return to, but a good place to have a drink and an appetizer.

   Great menu items. I suggest the smoked crab dip for the table along with cocktails to get the meal started. Lovely environment. Great service and everyone in the restaurant was smiling and having a good time. Positive vibes.

   Decided to dine at Tannahill’s because we were attending a concert there. We’re so glad that we did. We had the Smoked Crab and Green Chili Dip appetizer, a Thai Shrimp Noodle Salad, and the Homemade Papardelle with Wild Boar Ragu. All three dishes were exceptionally well prepared, presented, and tasted absolutely delicious. The service was polite and very friendly. We never had to ask for anything. Drinks were refilled frequently without summons. We were pleasantly surprised with a wonderful dining experience and will definitely return to sample other culinary offerings. I definitely recommend for anyone visiting the Fort Worth, Stockyards area.

   My husband and I had tickets to a show at Tannahills music venue so we decided to eat there beforehand, and I'm glad we did! The food and the service were terrific. Granted we only ordered drinks and appetizers but they have such a great selection. The smoked oysters were good (but a little chewy). The smoked crab and green chili dip was amazing. We had a reservation and were seated right away. I'd like to come back and try the entrees next time. The entire Mule Alley section of the Stockyards is super fun and clean. It reminds me of a mini downtown Nashville with people strolling around, bar hopping, checking out live music (and lots of bridal parties too).

   Atmosphere very nice. Waitress nice. Food was just awful. Every dish was beautiful BUT Noodles with Boar Ragú very bland. Peach sauce chicken just way too spicy, cheesy grits zero flavor and salad it came with awful. The chopped salad very good and appetizer crab dip good. The “plates” food came on so small I had no place to cut the chicken. Ridiculous. Mgr refunded my meal and was very pleasant.

    First time to the Tavern. Decided to try it before going to a show next door. The menu looks interesting but the entrees are heavy on the sides and short on the protein. Drinks were also a bit weak. Service was great however.

    Staff was very responsive and the service was excellent. Sadly, the food was not. Overpriced and not impressed with the menu. Not enough choices for low calorie options. Drinks were WAY too expensive. We made reservations for out of town friends, wish we had gone somewhere else.

    It would appear as though they went out of their way to be fancy at the cost of just serving normal Ft Worth Stockyards food. It was over priced and the portions were small. Too much noise for a restaurant. The music venue was fantastic.

    Overall excellent experience. I’d had second thoughts after reading reviews about noise level, service, and food quality, but for us those concerns were unfounded. We were seated upstairs at the far corner from the live music and noise level was fine, especially given that the building is all hard surfaces. We had the fideo and chopped salad. Some reviews said that they were unable to request modifications—we had no such problems. Both dishes were hot and delicious. Drink service was a little slow, but you can’t pin that on your server.     We loved our dinner at Tannahills. From the service to the food, all was excellent. We have been to several concerts there, but this was our first official dinner. We both had steaks, they were cooked perfectly. We will definitely be back.

    My husband’s barely warm steak arrived an HOUR after ordering it. Meanwhile my straight out of the refrigerator salad (clearly premade) and lukewarm cauliflower appetizer arrived a full 20 minutes after that. He had no choice but to eat his steak before it got even colder while I waited for my food. Server was AWOL. Server didn’t check on us during that entire time. Kitchen clearly didn’t bother to deliver food in timely order. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!

    We kicked off my birthday weekend with live music and dinner. We chose Tannahill’s Tavern bc we were going to a concert in the hall and thought the place looked nice. Upon arrival we were sat at an uncomfortable loud table for 2. Our server was nice but I asked if they knew what a ranch water is and she said of course! Never told me my cocktail would cost $23! They line item charged me for Topa Chica, lime juice and tajin for the rim. Unbelievable but then I need to address the food. Since it’s a Tim Love restaurant I expected high quality. Appetizers tuna and crab dip were terrible. Crab dip was mayonnaise with a hint of crab. Tuna was good but very small portion of fish more lettuce then substance. I requested veggies with my skirt steak instead of French fries. No substitutions -horrible policy! The skirt steak was so bad I had to return it. Every piece was grizzle and unacceptable for $30.00. The manager was very nice and he took the steak off my bill and offered free dessert but we didn’t want to since heading into a concert. Overall, might return to music hall if a good artist played but even there they nickel and dimed you while providing lame beer options and even more expensive cocktails. Very un- impressed!

    Service was great! Drinks were good but expensive. Food: Chicharons were tough, tuna tostada was AWESOME! 2 in our party ordered ribs, both commented that they were “bland tasting.” I ordered the skirt steak which was good, other person ordered Asian salad which was nice & spicy. Noise level: it was slow, there was only 3-4 other tables being served at the time. However the overhead music in the restaurant was competing with the live music coming from the stage. We all like country music, but when it “competes” like that it turns into an annoying noise that really wasn’t pleasant to dine too. Possible design flaw in the structure? Or, just go with one source

    I was disappointed with the menu, my food was NOT great (sea bass and ratatouille), and it was overpriced. $70 for a glass of wine, entree and dessert- and none of it tasted great. Not worth the value.

    Hard to get away for a date night so we always want somewhere special and this was a great spot when we went a few weeks back. This time though I am not sure if the cook staff were distracted by the Super Bowl playing or just not watching the food well. Appetizers were good had the crab dip and the fried cauliflower and chicken bites. Main course my friend and I both got the skirt steak and fries as I had them last time and it was amazing. I got mine medium she got hers medium rare. Mine came out well done unfortunate which ruined the texture. Hers came out and it was soooo rare she barely ate any of it. Where we were sitting it was pretty dark so she did eat some of her steak before she realized how undercooked it was. The fries on both of ours were so overly cooked they tasted like the canned shoe string fries. She likes hers this way but I do not and since I had them cooked correctly before I was disappointed. My husband got a regular steak which he said he liked. Her husband got the wild bore pasta bolognese and he said it was really good. Suggestions: Allow the sides to be swapped out and listen to customers when they tell you that it didn’t taste right or it was under or over cooked. If and when this happens do something about it to ensure good customer service and repeat customers.

    The waitress and bartender were very attentive and provided good service. The problem was with the food. A person in our party ordered the chicken which comes with cheddar grits. They have a severe dairy allergy and was told they could not substitute as the restaurant is “chef driven” and they only serve the entrees with the sides for the “experience.” We would have had to pay another $10 to order the least expensive item which was fries. The waitress was very apologetic but paying over $100 for dinner you’d expect to have an option that wouldn’t land you in the emergency room. The fideos was full of grease. Expected more. Would only come back to hang out at the bar with Patty makes some incredible drinks and great conversation.

    Not great, sadly. Nobody ever responded to my emails regarding our booking, the one person I reached on the phone seemed really annoyed that I’d called to confirm our booking (for 10 people) The food is way over rated and over priced for what it is. Honestly it was the obnoxious staff that we disliked most.

    Food was fine, but service was pretty slow. We also ordered drinks and we all got charged $2.00 a drink for salt on the rim. First time I payed for salt 🫠. There are a lot better restaurants in Fort Worth.
