Great find and fun food for before theatre. Good happy hour menu. Loved the steamed mussels and the wonderful hamburger. Inventive drink menu for both cocktails and local beer selections. Not a place for first dates as conversation level is energetic. But, a good place to try out.

Fabulous food in a great location! They have a HH that goes until 6pm. Grab a seat by the window for a beautiful view. The sablefish was delicious!

Looking forward to a return to Seattle and the brewery. Food was uninspired and (I believe) my credit card number was stolen. Not fun having a cancelled credit card on vacation.

Fantastic fish! Because of its location I was a bit worried this might be a tourist trap. Not to worry. The food was fresh and delicious, excellent selection of craft beers... this is, after all, a brewery :) Prices a bit on the higher side but reasonable given quality of food and prime location. My fish-loving companions said the sable fish was one of the best fish dishes they had ever had. Leave room for dessert.

Night started off a little rocky with us waiting a little longer then needed on drinks. But the service did pick up for the rest of the evening. Food was just alright. But nothing to write home about.

A solid Pike Place restaurant. A limited menu, but it knows what it wants to be. Great chowder, and I’m super picky about my chowder... well balanced and not thick and gloppy.

It was a amazing time. The tall manager or owner was extremely helpful greeting us at the door and was very knowledgeable about wine and recommended some great food. It’s a very hidden gem that feels warm and cozy and it’s a great value with great seafood. Strongly recommend. 5 star hospitality

Stopped here for quick dinner before going to theatre. Service was good and friendly but the food was bland, not seasoned, lukewarm and therefore overpriced. I would sit at the bar for a drink and happy hour oysters but not eat here again.

I went to Tankard and Tun for lunch with a few colleauges. We tried several different items.

I had the cheese curds, and burger. The cheese curds were battered in what tasted like funnel cake batter. It was served with a spicy aoili-type sauce. They were fantastic. The batter was crisp and the cheese was nicely softened. The serving was huge. The burger came with "fancy cheese", according to the menu. When I was there, it was Monterey Jack. The burger was juicy and delicious. My only complaint was that I ordered my burger cooked medium, and a coworker ordered hers medium-rare. Both were served well done. The fries looked like hand-cut potatoes and were cooked well.

My coworkers ordered the pretzel, which was beautiful and served with a spicy mustard. He said it was good. Several of them ordered the fish and chips, and the batter was light and crispy, and the fish was flaky. They said it was a very good fish.

The service was okay. There was only one other table seated when we arrived. It still took a while to get drinks and for the server to take our orders.

I would go back if I were in the area, but I wouldn't make a special trip. Unless it was just for the cheese curds.

waited a long time for server to come over once we were seated. we were hungry and had to wait 15 min to even get water. once waiter came, service was acceptable but not worth the automatic 20% surcharge.
sturgeon main dish was tender and delicious.

We had a double date here for restaurant week. The highlights were the starters, but that’s the extent of it unfortunately. We were disappointed as this was one of the restaurants we really looked forward to.

Came here for date night during Seattle Restaurant Week. Had the best time, food was delicious, craft beer was good as always, and our servers were both chill and professional - exactly what we wanted. The steamed mussels were beyond. My partner and I are still talking about them!

I brought my team here for dinner. We had some trouble finding the restaurant because we went to the Brewery first. The server we had was a little odd or maybe it was an off day. She questioned my guest about what we were ordering. Several of my team members were put off by her questioning what they were ordering.

Service was pretty slow - looked like there was only one server working at the time. Never got any water, but we had ordered drinks so not a huge deal. The food was fantastic! Would definitely go back, maybe not for a business meal (took a bit longer than an hour), but for a relaxed dinner or taking out-of-towners out for a meal.

The food menu includes beer pairings. It's definitely centered around the beer here! If you have a group and not everyone drinks beer, they also have wine and cocktails. This place was great for happy hour and we felt like we got a great value. We noticed that the happy hour oysters were much larger than the full priced oysters, so if you are particular about oysters, don't order them on happy hour. It does get a bit noisy as the bar is located in an atrium with other restaurants, so expect an energetic environment.

From what we understand, the restaurant was understaffed the evening we went, and we unfortunately had to wait so long to be served our food that we cancelled our order and left. We arrived with over an hour to spare for dinner, and had ordered oysters, a salad, a raw tuna dish, black cod over greens, and two rounds of drinks. We received the drinks and oysters, but after nearly an hour, none of the other dishes had arrived, and we had to leave. We were surprised, as the only dish that required cooking with heat was the black cod, so the others should have merely needed to be plated.

Food was ok, but delivered barely warm. Service was slow because there was a large party ahead of us...or so we were told. Small portions. Pub like environment. 20% mandatory service fee wasn't worth it. Not going back.

All dishes were cold (seafood soup, fish & chips, pork/polenta) and felt that they all came from the freezer and were quickly heated up. Had to send back the fish and chips which, were cold/mushy in the middle. Straight up inedible. I think this is the first time in my life I've ever sent anything back. The restaurant was dead on a Friday night, which should have been a dead giveaway for us. It seemed as though the staff was very used to dishes being sent back. Super odd experience and would never go back again. Shame, the place is adorable and convenient. Save your $$ and go to the other 100 amazing seafood restaurants within that area. This place was crap.

Went there for lunch with my husband. Shared 2 appetizers on the 'sharing' menu - the octopus and the mussels. Both were super tasty and we really enjoyed them - but we weren't full so decided to also share a main course of fish and chips which was also great. Fresh, well cooked and tasty. All the food was lovely, not huge portions though. The beer was great too. Made the mistake of ordering a large one when really you want to get a small then try a different small. Overall, really nice lunch, would go back.
