Mediocre at best. First of all, the appetizer arrived almost immediately, before we had even finished a cocktail. The bread consisted of one dry dinner roll and a couple of pieces of focaccia. The duck special was overcooked and arrived about 8 minutes after we ordered it... given that it takes at least 12 minutes to properly prepare a medium rare duck breast AND this duck was overcooked, it obviously wasn't freshly prepared (held in a sous vide perhaps? at the wrong temperature). The asparagus was overcooked as well, though the mashed potatoes were o.k. The entrée Caesar Salad with added shrimp was awful. The romaine was definitely not fresh. To top it all off, the red wine was served too warm. Given the place was basically full, SOMEONE must think this is a worthwhile restaurant, but we certainly will never return.
It was lovely - we celebrated our 10th anniversary.
We were very close to our neighbors, but it was fine.
Had dinner last night. It was just excellent and probably one of the best restaurant we had been lately
As an appetizer, we had a octopus that was very well prepared and very tasty and the entree was a trout, one of the best prepared trouts we ever had
For dessert we share an apple tart that was homemade and just delicious.
We live about half an hour away and do not doubt will go back again soon
It was quiet since it was lunch time. Our last visit was during dinner and was LOUD. Lunch was much more enjoyable. Food was delicious. We got the sandwich of the day, soup of the day, crab cake sandwich, and mango tango martinis. All were absolutely wonderful.
Bailey our server was quite friendly and knowledgable. However, the food came out--both courses--incredibly fast and alarmingly quick. As the meal wore on we received less attention from staff as well.
Gresat Just Great .Service was excellent as well as the food
Must have been an off brunch. Lipstick on glass where, dirty silverware and food scraps on menu. Pancakes below average and dense. Pretty place but needs a good cleaning and make over
We have been to Tango many times and it never disappoints. We have actually never been there for dinner, but lunch and brunch on many occasions. The food is consistent and tasty. Our server Trina was a riot and made our experience extra entertaining! We’ll be back again.
Decent, but not great food. Overpriced. Good service.
Very tasty and great service. The place is very warm and inviting
Waitress was great and food was excellent. We were celebrating our birthdays and finally getting together.
Tango never disappoints. The quiet and privacy of the roomy booths along the railroad tracks make this restaurant ideal for a business lunch.
My wife and I wanted to try a new place for Valentine's. Tango was recommended. We loved it!
Good for a romantic evening or to go out with other couples. The food was fantastic and the service outstanding from our waiter. He really made us feel special.
Would not use for business. Tables too close to have private conversation
Creed did a great job serving out table. Thank you.
Very Nice Ambiance. Staff was very pleasant and attentive. Food was very good. The chocolate Bundt cake dessert was to die for! I'll definitely go back.
Good service tasty food.
Very good food (we had the Sauteed Scallops and Cashew Crusted Salmon) and service. The complimentary cookies for Valentine's Day were also a nice added touch!
Stephanie was our waitperson and was great, always coming over at the right time! We never waited for anything as our evening progressed.
My first time here in over 10 years . Better than it was before. The waitstaff was incredible. Atmosphere was warm and welcoming .
Food and service was excellent in general. We'd definitely go back. We did have to advocate for ourselves to get seated in a nicer area of the restaurant than where the hostess wanted to put us (a little out of the way and less atmospheric), but once we got the seats we wanted, everything was great.
Excellent menu choice and took care of our dietary needs
We had a wonderful, tasteful dinner Tango has a special opportunity for diners to dine during our birthday month.
We can’t wait to return again
Great as always!! Tango has been a favorite since my husband and I moved here 15 years ago. It's perfect for families, friends or even special occasions. It's lively without being disruptive to everyone. It has a very relaxed yet comfortable atmosphere. I like the idea of the new menu options - the meat/seafood with a sauce and/ or a vegetable. Great idea!
My family and I have been coming to this restaurant for a long time. It has delicious food, great service, friendly people and wonderful design inside and out.
Beautiful place; impeccable service. Food not as tasty as I’d like for the prices but still better than most. I had braised beef (was a bit too fatty and too heavy on gravy), mashed potatoes were amazing. My wife had chicken; above average but not as flavorful as she would have hoped.
ap and dinner entree came to table together. If this doesn't bother you , your sure to have a great evening
Very good food but we had to wait an hour with a reservation. They did, however, not charge us for dessert.
I really liked this place. The food, service, and ambiance were great. The waitress worked very hard, and gave helpful recommendations on food and wine. Loved watching the trains go by the windows while we ate. The only negative was that our seats were near stairs that were a consistent thoroughfare for guests and staff. I will definitely be coming back.
It's one of my favorite places The person who waited on us was friendly but inexperienced-- - asked us how the food was before we had the first bite, brougt the bagged up the left-overs to the table (the portions were generous) and assumed we were ready to leave but didn't check with us and didn't clearly offer dessert and coffee or check back within a reasonable time. Nothing training and experience couldn't fix. Also I know many of the waitstaff do a good professional job.
I chose this restaurant because the menu looked appetizing and the reviews where at a 4.1 out of 5.
The food was just OK. Nothing to write home about and the price was too expensive.( I certainly would not mind paying $65.00 at lunch for cuisine that is amazing.)
On the plus side.....the server was very friendly and attentive.
Waiter was very nice but very overworked. Took a long time to take our order, then even longer still to deliver it. Onion rings and fries were cool when we finally got them. We had to flag server down to get the bill.
Excellent restaurant for comfortable high quality dining without the fussiness of a ‘gourmet’ restaurant. Good variety of offerings to please most palates professionally served. Good variety of wines, beers and drinks. Great for family gatherings or w friends. Easy for people w physical limitations like my octogenarian parents. They are excellent at grilled fish and meat. I had almond crusted salmon and I loved it.
While the food was excellent & the server was prompt & courteous, it took a long time for the main course to arrive. Otherwise, I always have a good experience at this restaurant.
Staff was very friendly, service was great. Food was delicious too! It's a great spot for a variety of occasions, from birthday to business.
Lovely dining spot. Excellent food consistently. Our waiter, Jeff, was personable, efficient, and very accommodating.
I go to Tango often to have a quality dinner with friends and be able to talk We have had the sae server and she is excellent - responds to special needs and substitutions
This is one of my favorite go-to spots for a delicious meal! I typically frequent on Friday or Saturday nights and I will continue to do so. However I think I'll stay clear of a late Sunday dinner from now on. We had an 8:15 reservation and arrived to an unpleasant smell in the restaurant. Wasn't sure what kind of smell it was, but it was definitely unpleasant. We sat down and were informed politely that the kitchen would close at 9. Ordered by 8:30. Bread came out - not fresh. Fried calamari came out - MUCH saltier than I've ever remembered - and I get this app every time. Entrees were delicious, as I've come to expect. We were out the door by 9:30 but not before cleanup had begun around us in the dining room. Typically, my reviews for Tango are 5 star in all areas, but this is the first time I wouldn't be able to do that. My lesson learned is to no longer be one of the last reservations at the end of what, I'm sure, was a typically busy weekend.
This was markedly one of the worst dining experiences I've had. Terrible food and terrible service. Waited over 30 minutes to have a waiter serve us and over an hour to get any food. Food order came out wrong. Waiter forgot our drink order. Waiter was just overall frazzled and the restaurant manager had to help in our section. The restaurant needs help with management and operations. I would recommend going somewhere else to eat.
Good food, good service, pleasant atmosphere. Love sitting "on the train tracks"!!
