Our menu features the comfortable dishes you always love and we feature seasonal specialties with some cultural flare. Tango offers an extensive beverage menu and wine list to compliment your meal.
We arrived on time and were attended to immediately by an attentive waitstaff person who took care of our refreshment order and knew we were waiting for another person. She arrived 15 minutes later and we waited a while to 'catch up' and then ordered our lunch. The order took over 25 minutes to arrived and that was only because I signaled our waiter. At first a second waiter brought us the wrong order and it still took a while to get our original order. Our original waiter did respond right away when I signaled I wanted the check.
I still like Tango and would like to think that The slow service of food was an exception for Tango as previous experiences have been excellent all-around.
The server shold not remove a finished plate untill all persons have finished their dinners .
Our service was terrible. The server forgot drinks, never came over to see how we were doing, overcharged is on our check, we had To go looking for a server.
As always, a solid experience at the dependable Tango
Service was terrific (Even w/ graduation parties going on)
Was nice enough to eat outside too
See you soon!
Our group of 5 tried a variety of dishes at lunch time including gazpacho, crab cake sandwich, Reuben, grilled cheese with apple, and quiche. Food was all very good, service somewhat slow but the server seemed new so that was understandable. The food came out fast once we ordered and our server was attentive to make sure we had enough to drink.
We we're there on Tuesday May 7 and all 4 meals were excellent including the tuna nicoise
But Friday's tuna nicoise was very disappointing.
It was thin, and overcooked.
The restaurant is dirty! Sat by filthy window next to railroad tracks!!!!
We used to love Tango Bistro but the food has changed. The Cobb salad consists mostly of shredded lettuce now, where it used to be filled with bacon, turkey, blue cheese, tomato etc. Now it seems it was barely a teaspoon, perhaps less of the ingredients to make it a tasty delightful salad. My guest had the pasta with spinach and shrimp and ended up sending it back. I did not taste it but she said the pasta was dry and tasteless and just not a tasty meal. I was very disappointed.
The drinks we had were very good and the service excellent.
First time here but will definitely be back. Great menu selection.
All 4 meals were excellent! Manhattans very good.
I think there was only one server and she did an excellent job.
Mother’s Day was quite crowded and we had to wait for a table even though we had a reservation. Colin, our waiter was friendly and the fried oysters and short rib special were nice. Food came out quickly.
We went for Mother’s Day dinner. The food is consistently good. The service was not great during this visit. I had made reservations & we arrived to a quiet restaurant. We were put in the last table in the corner (I should have asked to be moved.) After ordering & waiting, tables sat after us received drinks, bread & appetizers before us. The server was apologetic... an hour meal turned into 2 hours because of the lack of service. I really want to write a good review because I do really enjoy the food at Tango. Maybe just don’t go on a holiday???
It was Mother's Day. I love Tango. This was just a harder day (so busy) to meet the 4-5 star criteria, but otherwise, it's a great American restaurant, delivers consistently and offers a cozy atmosphere.
A standard "go to" because we live about 5" away. This was a Sat at 6PM. Our waitress Allison was outstanding, knowing her stuff jovial and polite, hacking back to see all was well although she was busy.
I had the famous short ribs which are usually wonderful. Lately though thesauri seems bland and the portion wassail and about 2/3 was fat, easily pulled off the meat. The appetizer however, broiled jumbo shrimp in bacon, another staple were perfect.
I spoke to the waitress about the meat and had a glass of wine removed from the bill as a courtesy.
I wish management would comeover and give a personal touch to the complaint. A simple we're sorry would go a long way. In general, I would like to see him, stop at the table once in a while, smile and say hello, how is every one tonight. It's the personal touch as much as the food that makes a visit go from good to excellent.
This used to be one of my favorite local restaurants. We went there quite frequently. We had dinner there a few weeks ago and I thought it was just an off night. I had lunch with my daughter there this time. I don't really feel like going back. Not even going to use the birthday gift cards that they sent. The food was terrible. A greek salad had only 2 olives, and lots of romaine smothered with oil. The bacon cheddar soup was watery. The server acted like he was doing us a favor taking our order and bringing bread that we had to request. Even the people at the front desk seemed like they couldn't care less about us. They used to have a great brunch but they stopped doing that and ignored our suggestion to bring it back. It seems like its under new management. If that's not the case, they just don't care to be a good restaurant any more.
I thought the food was very good. The service could have been better, and they could have checked on us more...but overall, we were happy with our night, and I would go back there again.
The truffle fries are amazing.
It was not very crowded when we went at 6:30 p.m., which we like. Started getting more crowded at 7:00 p.m. Waitress was attentive. Food was delicious, as always, and the portions sizes were perfect. Would have liked to try their dessert, but we were too full with an appetizer and main dish. Will definitely return.
Love the menu!
Food was decent as is the price point. Service was mediocre. Had to ask the host for more water and other beverages. Waiter took long after giving us dessert menus we had to just ask for the check to leave. Also my ratings keep.changing and I rated everything lower. This is absurd.
I've been going to Tango for years; the service and food are always good. It's reliable and a pleasant place to converse with dinner companions. I was disappointed with the crab cakes this time, one of my favorite things on the menu, but everything else was really good. I won't order the crab again. The wine is pricey and there isn't much at the lower end. That said, I enjoyed the evening.
The food is always good at Tango. We only waited a few minutes for our table.
The food was good but the service was slightly off. We didn’t get our bread until late and my wine didn’t arrive until I was almost done.
disappointed that the birthday certificate cannot be shared. Food was good but not outstanding. Found that Tango is slowly sliding downhill.
Food was great! Service was very good!
Wonderful as usual. Thank you
We carried four children under 12 and four adults for an early dinner. Staff was very attentive to all. Brought kids' meals before adults, which helped a lot. menu was varied and had something for all. plus it was in the neighborhood.
The service was very very slow. The food took for ever to come out and was cold. When I told the server she did not even offer to bring it back to the kitchen. I asked for a manager. When I spoke him he he really didn’t care.
A good meal overall, and my wife was disappointed in the sauce on the spinach and artichoke hearts in her scallops selection. The scallops were wonderful, and the vinegar in the sauce on the veggies was overdone.
Excellent meal--satisfyingly cheesy onion soup, melt-in-your-mouth Salmon, apple tart with ice cream..
Nice menu. Good service. Good food priced appropriately. Could hear each other talk.
We were not seated in the small room we had requested because it had been reserved previously. But the hostess gave us a special table in the back. We were not rushed and the server was very accommodating as we waited for late comers and again at the end of the meal. She handled the birthday cake for us and it was beautifully served.
Great meal. Able to talk without feeling like I had to yell. Great service. Always a great experience here.
Service was awesome. I have been to Tango many times. I was truly disappointed with the food this time. I had the omelet special and it was dry and overcooked. Everyone else said their food was mediocre. I hope things get better as I like coming to Tango and have for many years. Lisa Czyzewski
Superior as always. I have eaten here several hundred times since it opened. Excellent menu items diverse enough to satisfy most tastes, always prepared consistently to high standards using highest quality ingredients at reasonable prices.
Best cream of mushroom, black bean soups, gazpacho, vichysoisse and New England Clam Chowder.
Excellent friendly service and very attractive & comfortable ambience.

Tango is a great spot for lunch or dinner in Bryn Mawr, PA. I like sitting in a booth and watching the trains wiz by, very fun.
Food is also very good. I stick to basic fare. It's also convenient for my friends and colleagues from Philly because they hop on the train for the short ride to join me in the suburbs. Parking is also convenient and with no charge to do so.
I dine here often.
Love the food and our server was wonderful. Nice table location
I had the Caesar salad with grilled chicken for lunch which I had to to saw in pieces with the dull butter knife. The salad on a whole was just okay... nothing specisl or tasty. I also ordered coffee, which tasted like it was on the burner for hours.
Overpriced for the quality and portions served.
The service was pretty good and the ambience too.
I would not recommend and would not return.
Choose this restaurant based on the many options and good reviews.
Tango has been a favorite place for my family and most specifically my mother, for many years. Many happy family events celebrated there.
We arrived around 4:15 pm for a 6:00 pm to enjoy "happy hour" at the bar, as the friends we were meeting did not drink. Unfortunately, when we ordered our cocktails, Mike (the bartender) said he didn't have the ingredients behind the bar .. then just stood there. Assuming he wanted us to select something else, we went down the list until there was a drink he could make. Did not leave a good impression -- fortunately, once our friends arrived and we were seated, the meal was "to die for." You just need to better stock the bar.
Absolutely no complaint.
