Wonderful food. Great service. For dinner, the lighting seemed a bit bright. Could have dimmed the lights for a cozier feel.
Great food, fresh and authentic
Love their food. Outside was a bit warm, but everything worked out.
Poor service, very slow to ask for drink refills, brough bread out 15 minutes before main meal came out, outdoor seating only due to Covid.
Had to eat outside - no inside seating and it was cold outside so miserable.
Food was awesome. Staff was friendly. Spice was just right, be sure to try the marsala fries.
Great food made to your spice level. Beautiful patio.
Great food & wonderful service within a covered patio.
Very spicy food but good service was ok could’ve been better if they had more than one helping 6 different tables if you’re seated outside then it can get a little noisy from the road traffic but you don’t notice it after a while
Food was great; need some help on server knowledge on food and wine. Too much wait time trying to figure things out. We (of course) will be back due to the phenomenal food!
The menu was sooo big!! We got a bunch of appetizers. I enjoyed everything! The chicken masala wings. Onion padoka, vegetarian samosas, chili wings were all amazing!!! I can’t wait to come back to try cocktails and more delicious food!! Plenty of vegetarian and vegan options too!
Waiter was great. Food was ok.
Our first time in last night. The food was so delicious! The service was great ! The menu had lots of options, great prices and large portions. We will definitely be back!
This place was clean. The staff was very friendly. And the food was amazing! The buffet was labeled with tags to id the food items, which was very helpful! The price was a good bargain in my opinion. I would recommend Tandoori Fusion to everyone looking for great food.
I love the food at this restaurant. It is farm to table and it shows. There are just too many problems that can not be over looked. If there are more than 6 tables with people at them, turn around and go elsewhere. The service breaks down and you can sit for 40 minutes without your order being taken. That was our LAST experience. The staff is very nice, kind of like a 50's movie where a bunch of students decide to run a ski lodge. If I had already eaten it would be funny.
My other issue is that the description on the menu may not match what you get. I am not talking about spice level or an unfamiliar dish. I am talking about something simple. I ordered Tandoori Chicken. Whole $20, Half $15. A fair price. I ordered a Whole Chicken. I was surprised when my Whole chicken had 3 wings and 4 legs but no breasts. We do not live in an area known for mutant chickens. When I asked for an explanation I was told the menu means whole or half order. I tried explaining that every other restaurant I had ever been to defined whole and half chicken differently or explained that it was not a whole or half bird, the owner blew me off. Blow off this restaurant. There are other choices.
They should really work on their staff and service .
Valentines Day
The food was fantastic. I like spicy. Many items are spicy even though they aren't marked that way. Be sure to ask. I had Vegetable Biryani. It was phenomenal.
Very slow service, even though it was 5:00 PM on a Thursday and we were the only party in sight. Waitress was not very knowledgeable of the menu selections. My brother in law’s soup came 5 minutes after his main course ! What’s the point ? Also I asked for a ‘5’ on the spice scale and I would say it was barely a 1. The Chicken Tikki Masala was nothing to write home about. Reminded me of the stuff I get from Costco. If it wasn’t for the Groupon I would say this wasn’t worth it. Won’t be back anytime soon. There are far better and spicier Indian Restaraunts here in the metro more deserving of my hard earned money.
We’ve been coming here at least once a month for the last year and a half, since moving to Norton Commons. The kitchen is pretty capable but service is borderline incompetent and has gotten worse with each visit. Last night our entrees were served 20 minutes apart. On our way out the door I pointed this out to the manager, who seemed neither surprised nor troubled about it. I don’t think we’ll be back anytime soon.
A family favorite! We make it a point to come to Tabdoori once a month for yummy Indian food!
It was a good experience. All the stuffs were very good.
So delicious every time!! Can’t beat the price, service or flavors.
The vegetarian food was all very good . But the meat starters were very dry and spicy
The chicken lollipops are to die for. Everything very tasty. Mr friends are looking forward to a return visit. Can’t wait for patio to be open for drinks and small plates.
The food was very tasty but the buffet line and setup was very crowded.
My co-workers and I ate at Tandoori Fusion for the first time. We sampled many different dishes, with the table enjoying vegetable samosas and the spicy potato dosa as appetizers. Both were excellent. I ordered one of the lentil dishes, not because I'm vegetarian but it simply sounded delicious, and I was right! They have a great happy hour with $3 Mondavi wine, draft beer, and well drinks Tuesday through Saturday. Fairly empty when we arrived at 5:30, but within a short time many of the tables were taken.
Wide variety of choices on the menu. Server was well informed about the menu. Vegetables are grown on their nearby farm. Can’t wait to go back and try the buffet.
We had a wonderful time at this new Indian restaurant in Louisville.
The service was top notch on Valentine's Day and the food was wonderful.
Tandoori Fusion (TF) should be crazy busy next Valentine's Day especially if they keep their V-Day special going. You and a date could get roughly $100 worth of high quality food and service for $40! Crazy good value.
Apart from the value the food is great. The chef can COOK. The goat curry was delightful. The slow roasted chicken in lentil gravy, wonderful. The speciality rice was aromatic and delicious. TF may need to employ a pastry chef soon because the desserts were okay but I rarely go to an Indian restaurant for sweets. So take this with a grain of salt.
All in all. Great experience and execution on a night that holds the highest amount of expectations. I felt like we underpaid—almost high way robbery style, for the experience we had there.
The food was excellent, the service was supreme, the ambiance very nice - it was just a bit crowded after 1 pm on Sunday with people standing waiting to be seated. All in all, this is a great Indian restaurant with authentic food.
Great food at a reasonable price. Loved the music.
Food was very average and the servers were horrible- very bad first and last experience
Food was good but the reason why they are getting one star is because of their service. Had specifically mentioned twice that the order is all vegetarian, confirmed with our waitress and she said, 'Don't worry, we will take care of it. ' Shortly after once the food came in, one of the orders had meat on it. A few family members who had never ate meat in their entire life, ended up eating a few slices of it that had meat in it. Waitress confirmed that there was indeed meat on that order and it was a 'mistake'. What's worst is that another person came in (not sure if he was the manager or owner) with a smiling face, and says that 'We make this order with meat whenever someone places it.' Smiles again and leaves. Sorry, I don't think it's funny, especially when you can't get the order right, and not even have decency to apologize to your customers who are vegetarian and haven't ate meat in their entire life. Won't be going to this place again.
Excellent food
Great service
The food here is excellent. The service left a lot to be desired. They brought one appetizer and then the other didn't come out until the rest of the meal. We also had drinks that sat unfilled for quite a while. When you're eating spicy Indian food, you need a refill of drinks. This was not crowded, so I'm not sure what the holdup was.
F#*^king fantastic! Loved the Cauliflower and the lamb vindaloo. AND the dosas!
I was not impressed with this restaurant. First, we ordered the sampler appetizer. The empanada was but but the other choices were mediocre at best. I ordered a soup before my meal and the meal came out the same time as the soup. I got the lamb chops, supposedly chefs favorite. Well, not sure why. They were over seasoned and over cooked. We also tried the pickled vegetables, no thank you, not good. The wine, however, was only $3 which was a bonus.
One of the best hang out for non-vegetarians. Must try Murgh Biruani and Murgh Lollipop, they reminded me of the Indian taste of spices.
This was my first visit to TF. My server did not know anything about the menu ie: beers on tap, was unable to answer questions about the food. The service was slow but The food was good.
Service is above and beyond. Food is fantastic. Dishes with heat are tasty and not overwhelmingly spicy, just right. Seekh kebab on point!
