Great food with good portion and our waitress was very attentive and friendly!
This may have been the worst service I’ve ever had in my life. Our reservation was at 7:15 and our waiter didn’t come over to introduce himself or take our order until well after 8. I understand being under staffed but under no circumstance should it take an hour to have our first interaction with our server. He didn’t even apologize for the delay. The service didn’t get any better as it would be 30 minutes + from when we ordered a drink to when we received them. We actually got up and went to the bar to get a drink mid meal at one point the service was so slow. Honestly it was embarrassing to see the restaurant was operated so poorly and they didn’t even acknowledge there was anything wrong. Would not recommend.
Waited to get seated. Drinks were not good. Wine was worse. Service was mediocre. Food was unremarkable. And they added an automatic 18% tip. Overall would not go again
They overcharged card by 30 dollars after I had signed the receipt
They do not have a wine list on their menu. When we asked staff, they did not know wine names or prices, only that it was a Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio, a Merlot etc. We ordered New England steamers & they were out of them at 6:15 pm! So we had the worst loaded nachos ever. We did speak to the manager regarding no wine list & he had a totally lame excuse. I would never recommend this restaurant & there are certainly many choices folks can make in Seaport Boston area.
Our service was wonderful but the food was disappointing. Drinks were very sweet and not worth the price point. A very lackluster experience for a $200 bill.

Underwhelming food/menu, atmosphere, and service. It’s probably fine for a hotel but I was expecting a bit more based on the website description and location.
The host was not at the station when we arrived and had to wait for a while; a server noticed us and sat us down. Had a great dinner and our server(aka acting host) was wonderful and conscientious of our time constraint. Will definitely dine there again.

Was not aware restaurant was in a hotel… Had to park in hotel parking lot took 15 minutes to find a spot in 15 minutes to get out and exit was closed and over priced

I had a pretty good time! We saw a lot of dogs that passed by, had drinks that were either a little too strong or not mixed with the right proportions, and the fried avocados and chicken quesadillas hit the mood on the dot.
Terrible service didn't wipe table or offer waters. Gave take-home bag (no box) while still eating. 18% tip already in the bill maybe explains

Food was fresh and very nicely presented. Tamo Burger is top notch. Peanut Butter Brownie Sundae was fantastic!
1. Got a drink and there was red lipstick on the rim.
2. Loaded nachos app were requested to just have cheese on them (and nothing else), but received everything on it.
3. A waiter (not our regular one) cleared drinks from one of our tables when the 3 kids got up to use the restroom.
4. Waiter said the system wouldn't allow him to split the bill on different credit cards, but later figured it out with a fellow employee.
No compensation/deductions made for any of these issues
The Seaport Hotel has a wonderful restaurant that
has a nice atmosphere, comfortable furniture and a distinctively delicious menu of pasta, meat, and seafood entrees. It’s become one of our family favorite restaurants. The TAMO Bistro is pure class and elegance. The wait staff are welcoming, friendly and personable too!

The food was ok. Wasn’t anything to rave about. I personally thought the food was overpriced for how it tasted and how much we got.
The food is alright and the service is awful. The waiter charged us for another table’s dinner as well as our own and rushed us out of the restaurant after having told us that we would have plenty of time to eat. It was very difficult to have the charge corrected by the establishment and the staff acted like I was lying.
Great staff and wine selection. We went here on a whim because there were few reservations in the Seaport area left, but we will definitely be coming back!

Would not return. It’s a hotel restaurant that is very well marketed with the photos on open table. We got the charcuterie board (does not come with cheese) and steak tips (would not recommend). Also, the cocktails were not well prepared.

My boyfriend and I came over Valentine’s weekend. We booked Tamo last minute and ended up loving it! Our server was had such a great personality and was super helpful and funny. I didn’t ask his name - tried to look at his name tag I think it was Devin? The espresso martinis and avocado fries were so good.
Well our server was great very attentive friendly great vibe. We ordered steak and pasta they didn't have a steak knife. They had 3 people looking for one in the whole restaurant. The food was okay the steak was chewy and some of them were uncooked we ordered medium well.A gentleman was cleaning a table and sprayed my husband with the cleaning product on his head and said "sorry it's just sanitizer." We laughed it off but if we had food on our table that would have been a problem. The drinks were good and the overall experience was okay.
We ate New Years Day breakfast and dinner at TAMO. The service and food were outstanding , and they couldn't have been more accommodating. Looking forward to our next visit!
I made reservations about two weeks ago. I got to the restaurant and it was closed.. I was not informed that their hours and day of services had changed! We got there it was freezing outside and had to make reservations elsewhere last minute for a birthday! Very disappointing to say the least!

Recent dinner during Covid was outstanding. Delicious food all around for our party of three. Atmosphere was quiet, quaint, comfortably fitted with two inviting fireplaces... and we couldn't be happier with all of the safety measures that staff and management employ. Kudos to our waiter. A delightful and comforting representative of such a fine establishment.
