   The Rain Forest Restaurant at Thunderbird Park was absolutely lovely. Great service. Great food. Abit of a different menu which pleasing. A very roomy area, different sitting areas and a fireplace. Almost silver service. Have told a good few friends to go and have a lovely experience.

   Went here over the weekend and the food was amazing! Service amazing as well. We will definitely be back!

   The pork belly main was incredible! Quite a few side veggies with it and a delicious sauce. And to really top off the evening...the millionaire mousse was one of the best desserts we've had. Our kids ordered beef bolognese, but enjoyed our pork belly more. Would definitely return.

   We love the ambience at this restaurant, it’s lovely. Staff are great too, helpful and wonderful to deal with. The chips are amazing, as are the pancakes, mushrooms and tomatoes at breakfast. The other food we had was ok but expensive. We had the rump steak, which was fatty, and the eye fillet which was over cooked. Breakfast is nice but limited compared with other hotels; hash browns need to be under a heat lamp rather than getting soggy in a Bain Marie.

   We celebrate our wedding anniversary here every year, and have never been disappointed with the experience. Great food at very reasonable prices, lovely atmosphere and great staff.

   Arrived with high expectations, prompted by website display, was greeted with confusion. Facility seemed tired, lighting was harsh. Entrees order was taken, then waiter disappeared. Had to ask for glasses for bottled beer & cider. Had to ask for our mains order to be taken. Salmon was not cooked through, cold in the middle, inedible & sent back. A replacement was offered but not accepted, damage already done. Duck was incorrectly delivered to the table which was immediately replaced with the original order of pork belly & bok choy which were both tough. Pork belly looked like it was mass produced like lasagne, from a bain marie perhaps? A side dish of broccoli was never delivered. Cutlery was not robust, fork bent on the bok choy. No confirmation of cheese or chocolate allergy was offered although no dish served was affected. Apologies were offered & bill adjusted. We left not wanting to chance dessert. Very, very disappointed.

   Dear Max, thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry your experience didn’t meet expectations. The lights are dimmed each evening for ambience, but we appreciate your perspective. We sincerely apologise for the salmon issue and understand your disappointment. A new team member started yesterday and is still in training, which may have affected service. Our pork belly is braised for three hours, cooled, cut, pan-fried, and oven-finished, not mass-produced. We did note your restriction in the booking, and our team would have proactively addressed any potential issues had you ordered a dish containing those ingredients. We are also awaiting a cutlery delivery. Your concerns have been noted, and we’ll work on improvements. We hope you’ll consider giving us another chance.

   Food was sensational. The comfit duck deserves special mention as does our exceptional waitress Cate. The only Challenge was eating a steak and lamb with flexible cutlery. Suggest steak knives for red meat. Fantastic place.

   Great place to eat, stay, and explore! Had an amazing night with my partner. The bar staff were so friendly and helpful. Billie was such a lovely attendant! Very helpful and friendly :)
