Wonderful Mexican dinner, starting with thin tortilla chips and delicious salsa. I had jumbo shrimp and my wife had red snapper and both were seasoned very nicely. There margarita was perfect.
Came here with some friends I hadn't seen for a while. None of us had been there before and we loved it. We spend the first few minutes talking about the great find it was
Walking into Tamyo’s restaurant is like walking into an art gallery and upon arriving you are surrounded by the exquisite paintings of the great artist Tamayo. I attended the opening of this restaurant and Tamayo was present and thanked David and the community for honoring him. He was grateful and humble. The food is quite good and the salsas are fresh, spicy and addictive. I go here for the ambiance, margaritas and chips and salsa. Do not miss going for the holiday as they display a gorgeous nacimiento and the dinning room is beautifully decorated.
Maybe it was the day (Thursday) or the time of day 6pm but there were very few others people that evening. It had been a few years since the wife and I had been here but the building is still in excellent condition, parking by valet makes it so easy if your running a little late. We were celebrating our anniversary and were seated by the fountain, nice table. Wife had the Halibut and I had shrimp enchiladas after tasting a small portion of the wife's Halibut knew I had ordered wrong, it was delicious! My enchiladas weren't all that and that's the reason for the 3 stars. Otherwise the service was excellent, server very attentive.
Had never been there before and we were pleasently surprised. The civeche appetizer was outstanding. Their mole sauce on the encheleda was top-notched.
