Our kitchen is overseen by Executive Chef Brad Long and partner Jeremy Fox, whose shared love for great ingredients and passion for homestyle cooking is translated into a menu full of rich, bold flavors and imaginative takes on Mexican dishes. With a focus on high-quality, organic ingredients, everything is sourced from the nearby Santa Monica Farmers’ Market or regional farmers, fishermen, ranchers and purveyors with sustainable practices. Our cocktails range from traditional Mexican drinks to beach-friendly thirst-quenchers, and we also have a huge selection of small-batch tequila, mezcal and more rare agave spirits.

Food just isn't good
Talullas feels like a restaurant in search of itself. Very very limited menu. That said, the new half chicken was really good. They had really loud AC/DC blaring at 6pm for dinner. Now I like AC/DC, but it so DOES NOT FIT THIS RESTAURANT. Lastly they’ve done so little to make the outdoor dining experience really cool. So many places, The Golden Bull right next door for one, have stepped up their outdoor dining and created really cozy new spaces. Not Talullas. It’s a shame. Wish it were better on so many fronts.
The food is so poor and tasteless, and it is extremely expensive. It’s more of a poor quality Tex mex than authentic Mexican food. My taco meet was dry. However, it’s fun to look at.
I absolutely LOVE Tallula’s!!
There wasn't anything we didn't like. Our service was fantastic, the food was delicious and the cocktails...all craft, were outstanding. We will definitely go again and can't wait to be able to eat inside and get the true vibe. They've done a nice job turning the parking lot into an iviting place to dine and there are plenty of outdoor heaters to keep you toasty as we head into winter.
Great food, ambiance, and wonderful service!
Nachos and the vegetarian fajita tacos were great.
we had a wonderful time. great, friendly service. our favorites were the crispy rice salad and shrimp tacos.
We love the food here. We went for the new happy hour and everything was great!
I had a crab dish. They use real crab meat, not imitation. Very tasty and nice presentation.
Delicious! Highly recommend!!
Nice option for some Mexican/Cali food - they did a nice setup outside for their dining considering COVID. Parking is tough in this area - it’s luck if you can get a street spot otherwise valet parking went up from $9 to now $12.
My sisters margarita had glass shards in it which cut her mouth! When we told the waiter he grabbed a manager and the manager let us know that he wasn’t gonna charge us for that drink and he offered another at no charge he also apologized but we still ended up paying for both of the drinks they never took them off the tab. Food was not good. Chips and guacamole were good but how could you mess that up lol.. over all experience wasn’t good. We will not be back.
Given the circumstances, it was pretty good. We had an excellent waiter. The food was okay. Not as hot as it should have been. Guacamole could have had more spice. But, everyone had a good time.
Unfortunately me and my good friend got sick from the food the following day. Would never recommend to anyone and will not be visiting again...
Amazing nachos + drinks! Actually, everything we ordered was amazing!
The Birthday Girl was blown away by the Dine LA menu. We had a gorgeous feast for a very reasonable price. Kudos to the chef! Their food just keeps getting better as they're offering tasty hybrid dishes!
I have to be honest and say our experience wasn’t a normal one as it was during Coronavirus- so the place was really empty. The food was delicious, the cocktails fun and tasty, the service very good (there were very few people there) and the ambiance quiet. I will definitely go back after all of this craziness passes.
The service was great and the food was high quality. It exceeded my expectations. I’ll be back again for similar occasions in the future.
Overly priced, super noisy and food too Indian-ish. Not my thing.
Very nicely done interior, quite noisy, but friendly scene. Good food, but a bit spicy for us
Ambiance & service was great but brunch menu was not tasty.
The food is always excellent! And the margaritas are perfect!
Noise level way too loud for comfortable dining.
Super good! I came here for brunch with my husband and our server was awesome and the food was exceptional!
Always great experience
Dine LA menu was delightful!
The food is really great here. The nose level was so high that there was no way to hear each other even when shouting the words. That was a shame because everything else was truly excellent.
Unbelievably loud. Poor uncoordinated service. Carelessly made margaritas. No sweetness to counterbalance the lime. The first course came before our Cocktails were served. The empanadas were fried not baked as is done traditionally. The ceviche was drowned in a Tamarind sauce so that you could taste nothing but the tamarind. The Caesar salad was overwhelmingly overdressed. Again with the tamarind! The Burmese salad was too tart to eat. We won’t be back and would not recommend it to anyone. Parking in their own lot for. $9 leaves a bitter aftertaste.
Really enjoyed the lively ambiance, delicious and innovative food, excellent service. Definitely recommend!
One of my families favorite restaurants. The food is incredible, especially the green rice and civichi.
Food is fantastic!
Tallula serves good Mexican food. It is copious in amount and the menu is fairly predictable. However, it is quite expensive, particularly for what it is. It is basically a neighborhood Mexican joint.
Great food! Will go back for sure!
Very disappointing brunch experience. The food was terrible, definitely not worth the price. If you want good Mexican food this is not the place.
