The food was beyond amazing. Gnocchi especially. The service was on point.
We enjoyed our meal, the food was good, service was very good!
But, there was a live musician and it was just too loud. We wanted to visit and chat, but not possible.
The burratta was to die for. Food was all around great, but my entree was a little underseasoned. Live music was so good! Service was a little slow, we were done with our appetizer by the time I got my glass of wine.
The new menu was outstanding. Service was great.
Great food and great service. A little loud but worth it.
The food, service and mixed drinks are very good.
First time at this restaurant and we were very surprised. Erin was our server and she did an awesome job taking care of us. We had appetizers, salads and a great entrees all of which were very fresh and prepared perfectly. I highly recommend Talia and we will be returning to try the fall menu.
Well it was a dinner fir my husband’s Birthday
Awesome service and food!
We had so much fun at Talia with friends. Eric and Zach made us very creative cocktails to get started. Melissa did a fantastic job as our server. We loved all of our food that included Porchetta, pork chops, traditional pizza and fig & beet salad. There is such a good vibe at Talia with all of the staff---we'll be back very soon!
Overall it was a very pleasant experience. My date and I enjoyed the pasta dishes more so than the meats. The service was good and the house made focaccia was delicious. The drinks were tasty and the restaurant was very clean. If I was craving pasta and a night out I’d go back but the porchetta was a bit of a letdown.
It was just all wonderful, exactly what I’ve been missing. Thank you for meeting possibly exceeding my expectations!
Great service and food
The food was very good. Our server, Erin, was the perfect combination of friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back.
Erin was our waitress and she was OUTSTANDING!!! I haven’t had this level of service in Pgh since before the pandemic.
All of our food was amazing! We will be frequenting Talia!
Great Food! Great ambience! Great service!
I honestly can’t say enough good things about our experience. The food was heavenly, service was superb.
A friend and I ate here following a concert in town. We were seated outside as requested. During our entire meal, a couple large travel buses were parked next to us idling. After a while, we became used to the sound and tuned it out. Not the restaurant’s fault of course, but it did detract from the ambiance. Something to be aware of if you choose to sit outside there. Otherwise, our experience was very good. Food was quite tasty and the service was excellent. Will eat here again.
Executive Chef Nick so talented and hard working in open kitchen. Food is amazing! Excellent wait staff and service. We had a great experience there. Home made pasta, porchetta, and grilled pound cake with gelato. What’s not to love??
Amazing! Always a great experience! Excellent food and service. Love this place and we visit whenever in the area!
A wonderful location with very tasty food and snappy service. The food is rich and original... My favorite downtown and beyond.
We had a really nice experience at this restaurant. The food was amazing and so were the drinks. I recommend their espresso martinis!
Good was very good. Service was slow and inconsistent.
We were very happy to find such a wonderful restaurant less than half a block from the William Penn hotel. The focaccia was the best I’ve ever had, and our entrees were excellent. The waitstaff was superb and the vibe was great. Would definitely recommend.
Great food and service. We enjoyed our evening at Talia and will definitely be returning soon!
Food was delicious, recommend the daily catch and cauliflower dip. Servers were very pleasant, only criticism was booths not that comfortable (straight back) and techno music kind of annoying when you are trying to talk and relax. Would recommend.
Food was good, server was a disappointment. Would try again, different server though.
We had SO much fun at Talia on Saturday evening. Our server, Nicole made the dining experience very enjoyable. The half a roasted duck was fabulous, grilled perfectly and served with grilled radicchio. The orchiette pasta with short rib ragu was was very flavorful with carmelized onions. After dinner, we enjoyed drinks at the bar crafted expertly by Eric and Zach. The range of Italian amari is amazing! we will definitely becoming back soon.
Made reservations for our 3rd anniversary. The service was horrible. Took forever to get our first drinks. The waitress seemed to have a table next to ours that was a group of her friends so she ignored us for them. She passed by the table 11 times where I had my empty wine glass sitting at the edge until she offered me another drink. Yes, I counted 11 times. My dish (spaghetti) was sub par. The langostine was freezing cold. My husbands rigatoni were not cooked all the way. His dish lacked flavor. His drink was not ver good. The waitress never checked in to see how we enjoyed our food or cocktails. Very poor service and very bad experience. Would not recommend this place to anyone
Service was friendly and attentive. Food was very good. Will be back soon
3 hours for dinner. Not enough wait staff.
Meal took a very long time, had to keep looking for our server because she would say she was getting us something and then not come back. Food was great, service terrible.
Great service, delicious food….would go back.
Talia was amazing! They go above and beyond. The service was amazing as well as the homemade food. They make you feel valued. They added a special touch to our anniversary celebration which we appreciated!
We go there every chance we get! Great place, Erin our server always makes it so much fun !!!!
Nice place with good food. The service is wonderful and they let you feel like it's ok to talk and enjoy the meal and not get rushed out the door.
Talia is our FAVORITE!! Seasonal menu changes keep things fresh and fun! The Cauliflower Dip, Berkshire Ribs, and Olive Oil Cake make the world a better place. The staff is consistent, passionate, and dedicated to service. A must try, in the city!
Friendly staff and tasty food but we had a couple of food quality issues - bad/old lettuce in salad and eggshell in pasta- which somewhat tainted my pleasure in the meal.
This was our first time eating here. Our server was knowledgable and very attentive. The food was good and everyone was pretty happy with what they got. The only real disappointment was in the lasagna not having a meatless option. I will definitely be eating here again.
