Bridal party brunch
The food and the service were very good, but the jazz was way too loud. I thought the restaurant would be good for a group, but we all got headaches from screaming at each other just to hear.
Great! Food was delicious, service was impeccable. Sal and Christina were friendly and knowledgeable. Would return.
Poor quality of food, taste are so common, presentation is so lame boring not attractive! People are complaining about the amount of food to the price they charge its not reasonable! Very common! Place is nice but disappointing one customer whos been there before us didnt get their order whos just the same us our order and they left disappointed. My kids didnt even like the food soecially the chicken expensive whenbits only fried chicken.
Terrible service. Numerous people served us. Repeatedly asked for things like water and didn’t get it. Took forever for things we ordered to come. Multiple servers brought dishes we didn’t order. It was clear no one is managing the place. No system for making sure each table got their orders or check what a table has still not received. No one checked on us in the meantime to give us water or ask if we needed another drink. Good was meh. Nothing special. Asian fusion like you can get any else. I was looking forward to this as I have the cookbook but I would not return.
Wrong orders / 3 changes of waiters /
My absolute favorite place to be in Jersey City. 5 Stars! Wonderfully friendly service, great food and drinks :) Very positive energy to this spot especially during the Saturday 'Drag Show Brunches' they're Exceptional. The Queens that perform Slay and you'll have soooo much fun! Gotta go check Talde out right away.
Went here for my birthday! Everyone enjoyed themselves, food was good. I had the Black Bean Salmon, it was cooked perfectly but it was in the salty side. Everything else was great. Loved the atmosphere but it was a bit on the warm side. All in all it was great, will return!
Food and drinks were good, but the restaurant was a lot more casual than we anticipated.
We enjoyed the dumplings, spring rolls, octopus, and shrimp & walnuts, but the Blue Crab Fried Rice was by far the best dish presented.
We would highly recommend for a casual evening out!
Love the drag brunch!!!!
There were event charges that were not discussed or advertised upfront. There were announcements on prices of drinks and the venue did not acknowledge the price as advertised and charged us regular price.
Super dog-friendly brunch spot! My boyfriend and I sat outside with her, but on my way out I saw a couple sitting inside (near the wide-open doors/windows that they pull back in the warm months) with their huge pony of a dog next to them. The service was outstanding - at least three different servers came over (mostly to admire our pup), but were super courteous to us as well, always making sure to ask if we were ok or if there was anything we needed. They also brought over a bowl of water to our cutie right away. My only complaint is that there aren't very many veggie-friendly dishes on the menu. If Talde expands their menu to include more vegetarian options, you'll have a hard time prying us away from this place!
The brunch was wonderful. Had the asian chicken wings and waffles and they were delicious. Portion size was huge so was perfect for sharing
I’ve been here once before and it was a good experience.
Do you have any food allergies etc. yes I’m vegan
Ask if two items are. Yes. We order.
They bring one appetizer and say did you say vegetarian or vegan. This has egg in it.. maybe come back after I order it and tell me and not bring it. Friend I was with ate it. 20
Min later other app comes out.
One dinner comes out maybe another 20-25 mine does 🤷♀️ and was pretty much just oily noodles..
Other places to go in jersey city with (a) vegan options (b) way better service.
From the moment we entered the restaurant we had an amazing experience from the staff who greeted us at the door, the bartenders, and our waitress Gabie! The food was excellent and plentiful.
Second time there for dinner food was delicious drinks were very good and so was the service there was six of us had a nice dinner definitely would come back again and recommend it to anybody who is interested in Asian fusion food
Most of the dishes we ordered were salty. The roti was delicious and d bao. Most people are now watchful of their salt and sugar intake, maybe adjust the use of it.
It was a special mother's day lunch! The jazz quartet was a surprise treat! Looove it! The Glenlivet cocktail for mums was delish. Food was amazing as always, from the Ube French Toast to the Kale Salad, and Korean Fried Chicken. We ordered so much food including the Hot Basil Rice and Mee Goreng so we took it home together with the Blue Crab Rice. Great treat on this rainy day.
Really nice Mother’s Day lunch. They had live jazz which made it even better. All of our dishes were great and the waitstaff was accommodating and friendly.
The pre Mother’s Day brunch was all that we could have
Asked for and more! The French toast was absolutely delicious and the spam fried rice was totally unexpected and amazing as I haven’t eaten Spam in well over 45 years. I didn’t actually eat the spam (picked it out “ but the rice has great flavor.
The highlight was the fun DrAg Queen show. We did not know what to expect but certainly did not expect a show that was well over an hour and was so much fun! They were very engaging and entertaining. I would definitely go back again.
I enjoyed myself. Food was tasty and service was good. My date enjoyed her food as well. We will return again.
The Drag Queen Saturday Brunch was a hoot. Brought mom as a surprise for her birthday. Looking forward to going again.
Came for Drag Brunch ‘What’s the Tea’ and it did not disappoint! Food was great. I suggest ordering several items and sharing. We had a large group and increased by one. I called the restaurant and they were candid that it would be “cozy” where we were seated and they were all booked so they might not be able to move us. Our seating was perfect and everyone was comfortable. They truly manage expectations. They also are extremely accommodating with large groups that don’t arrive all together, they were happy to seat us.
The drag show was not the regular performers and I’m not upset about it. Jan Sport and Lemon were FANTASTIC!! Never a lull in the set, they performed for about 2 hours and were constantly on. They put their all into the performance. Lemon shblammed so hard, her shoe broke..that is commitment!!
The food was amazing, a twist on regular brunch items with an Asian flair. Not one item disinterested me. The Spam and Cheese fried rice was to die for!
Lovely spot will come back again. A couple of items we ordered were hit and miss but for the most part we enjoyed our meal together.
We love Talde. It’s a very nice place to go with our family for birthdays or just special dinners out. The food is delicious and the service has always been excellent.
Everything was awesome, food was delicious!!
We were there are a Monday evening, on the late side sat down at 845... we are all restaurant people and understand we can be difficult, but the service was a little off. Server forgot 2 drinks all together..
While this is not the servers fault, 3 of the entree's we wanted to order and 1 of the apps where 86'd...
other than those little items we would all definitely go back, food was great.. loved the vibe of the place..
The waiter was very curt, rushed, and a lack of people skills. He rushed through getting our drinks orders, carelessly dropped on the table, food order was rushed and came out incorrect. I will not be visiting anytime soon.
This was a bad experience.
The service was very poor. When we ask for the server, he told us we had to wait.
The smoked bacon was charred.
Food is always amazing. Services was great. We dine or order out at least every other week. A must try.
I feel like the food has gone downhill since opening!
Brunch at Talde was yummy as usual, with excellent cheery service. My friend and I thought the food was a little bit greasier than usual, but still very well seasoned. Other than that, I would recommend!
We had a blast at “What’s the Tea?” Drag Brunch. The queens were fun and hilarious, the food was great and the servers were on point. We will definitely be back!
The food was delicious nice spices to each and every dish and appetizers.Would definitely come back again. The waitress was very nice.
I booked a table for my birthday about 4 weeks in advance, when I showed up they had 6 of us at the bar! I have a pregnant friend and reserved a table so I was not happy. They ended up putting us outside however if I am booking my birthday brunch weeks in advance we should have had a table ready for us inside.
Absolutely enjoyed our visit to Talde during their What’s the Tea drag brunch! Food and entertainment were top notch, the waiter notified us of the unique serving style: one wherein the food would come out as prepared, instead of all together - to ensure freshness! Only critique I had was that we were sat in the back of the venue (table of 9) and most of the performances were relegated to the front of house and the speaker specifically in the back near us probably could’ve been a little quieter than the rest without reducing the quality of the show. We weren’t an old bunch by any means, but I almost wish we ear ear plugs.
Talde has a variety of choices on the menu and good for groups who like to share. Overall good experience, but it seems the servers are still getting to know the ropes as there were times when our table was left unattended.
Would definitely go back but hope for more attentive service next time.
Highly recommend the wings & signature dessert!
The restaurant was super cute and the food was delicious. Portions for family style are small. Our waiter didn’t come back much to our table.
Place was very cool looking but food was not great. Definitely not worth the prices.
Talde is a beautifully designed restaurant that has an industrial vibe, yet it's still warm and inviting. Tables have plenty of space between them, and there are a couple of large communal tables between the main dining area and the bar. The food is a unique spin on different Asian cuisines, with each dish boasting an original flourish. For example - pork dumplings were in pretzel-inspired salty dough, served with mustard instead of a soy-based dipping sauce. The blue crab fried rice with jalapeño aioli was the standout dish - absolutely superb. Our table also tried the skirt steak, noodles with short rib, shrimp spring rolls and more...and one dish was better than the next. Service was great too - highly recommended.
Two of my friends and I went to Talde for Saturday Drag Queen Brunch and it was amazing! Food and drinks were great and the service was amazing! Highly recommend!
