Self-described as offering east coast pizza slices without fuss, Talarico's is an entertaining spot to meet with friends, co-workers or take the family out for a dinner. With its expansive menu, Talarico's can accommodate any sort of preferences. There is the delicious pizza menu but also a happy hour menu, kid's menu and the full dinner menu with everything, from generous salads and starters, to large entrees.
Whether you are a vegetarian, avid meat eater or somewhere in between, there are many options for you at Talarico's. The beer and wine menu pair perfectly with the dishes and a dessert is never to be missed.
Talaricos is a spot you can count on for a slice of pizza. On this most recent trip i came with two young grandchildren and its easy, fast and dependable. Slices are huge for the $5 full of the toppings you like. I thought their Caesar salad was mild and rather weak though. Nice beer selection. Service was excellent as it always is.
Pizza was okay, but arrived cold and so did our garlic bread appetizer. Prices were decent. We also had to use the flashlights on our cell phones to read the menu.
Fun to order pizza by the slice- everyone wins!
Great atmosphere, service and food. This is a great neighborhood find to finish the work day with a happy hour. Also family friendly, which is becoming difficult in West Seattle these day.
Not offensive but not interesting. A solid uninteresting average.
We went for Valentine's Day, and it couldn't have been more perfect. For the portion sizes, our dinner was a steal. We got the Caesar salad, meat balls, and each got a slice of pizza. The slices are huge! One will be just fine, or you could probably split it. The whole place was really dark, but lit in just the right places. One thing I didn't like was that the booths (at least the big ones that are sort of on a plateau in the middle of the restaurant) aren't private at all. It was still really lovely though, and the food was out of this world. Try the little buckets, or the Fresca! Super delicious.
It was nice showing up, seeing people waiting for a table, and skipping to the front of the line since we had made a reservation. Service was very good and very accomodating. I made a reservation for 6 and more people showed up for a total of 8. We had a great time, drinks and food came quickly.
We were celebrating a birthday and our friend got dessert on the house. :-)
I love everything about this place. They have great pizza and happy hour. Service was awesome last time I was there. Pretty loud not for anyone looking for a quiet date spot but doesn't bug me. I come here at least 2x month.
The word is out make a reservation. You will enjoy it.
Holy Moly, the pizza slices are huge but not the price. I tried 2 different slices, both very tasty. Service was a tad slow but otherwise an enjoyable meal.
I'm a man of few words, but I am amazed every time I dine here. I speak highly of Talarico's when I discuss food with my buddies across the state, and I even chose this place as the spot to take my lovely lady from Eastern Washington for our Saturday dinner. The first thing she said as we left the restaurant was that it was the best pizza she has ever had. I completely agree with her. Talarico's is doing it right, and I absolutely love the environment of the place!
The restaurant was extremely noisy, the food was awful, the prices were outrageous. The only thing that was good was the service.
The chicken parmesan was passable, but my husband's sausage pizza was inedible. The sausage was tasteless and really dry. He didn't eat more than a few bites, and that only because he was hungry. He's not a complainer, so he didn't say anything.
The Ceasar salad was not bad, but the croutons tasted like they had been in a box for months.
The waitress was great - attentive, cheery, efficient.
I love visiting Talarico's, preferably during happy hour when possible! Their slices are huge and delicious, so I keep coming back for more. Always a friendly bar scene with plenty of seating and lots of great booth spaces for people preferring a more intimate environment (though its generally loud). They definitely need to bring back their fried zucchini appetizer - by far one of the best dishes on their menu that was only seasonal for some sad reason.
My husband and I had an enjoyable evening at Talarico's. We loved the Chicken Picatta, just delicious! They have a lovely low light ambiance with a bustling vibe. Definitely worth checking out!
First time and it was good. The service is great - the food good and an exciting environment. Don't take as long to go as I did. Make that reservation now.
We got Fireside seats. It was a busy night and the hostess was quite busy. She also was our waitress. She seemed to be running the place. The drinks were good and the food was pretty good as well. We enjoyed our date out, but won't be going out again. If we lived nearby, it'd be a nice place to stop by, but it didn't blow us away enough to dine there again.
Great great food, pretty good service.
(Our food and drinks came very quickly, but water refills were really slow and eventually had to be requested. Not good when you're having spicy sausage on your pizza!)
So, I've been to Talaricos a handful of times and always get their pizza. I've been tempted to order something else off the menu, but there's just something about the prospect of a 14" slice of gourmet pizza that I can't pass up. However, every time I make the mistake of ordering 2 slices, and can never finish them both. It's just so. much. pizza. Great place to go with a group of friends where each of you orders one slice, have the restaurant cut it into sections and then you can all share/sample multiple styles without having more than you can eat.
The food was outstanding, the atmosphere was just right for my wife and I, and the service was friendly and helpful. We'll definitely be revisiting!
When you come from Snohomish for a pizza fix you know it has to be good. Best pizza, outrageously good price, perfect ambiance. Love it!
The food was good as well as the service. The noise level was almost unbearable but it was a Friday night.
Were looking for a nice quite dinner before a play @ Arts West across the street. THIS WAS NOT IT.
Arrived in the middle of the West Seattle Beer Run - As the group was changing venues, so it did get a little quieter when they left. We did not order Pizza - which was likely one of our mistakes, as it looked pretty good. Though there we not too many options if you want less than a 28 inch pie. We like to order with little of no cheese and lots of veggies - for a variety of dietary reasons.
We had chicken parmesan - unremarkable, heavily breaded, & likely from a restaurant supplier; Spaghetti Squash w/ marinara was good, the sauce flavorful (could've been made in house). The Sweet Signora salad was good, the large big enough to share.
Dinner at Talarico's was great. Started with the Mac and Cheese, finished with a slice of double pepperoni pizza. Thought I'd be able to handle a second slice, but the first slice was more then enough to fill me up. Good experience!
Always love Talaricos. Best pizza!
Eating a pizza from this restaurant is very different experience. It was really big and tasted good.
Starters were yummy and the ambience is energetic...friendly staff
We had reservations so we got seated right away. I ordered chicken parmesan and the chicken was hard and thin with no moisture or flavor aside from the soft breeading that was soggy. At times I found myself questioning whether it was chicken I was eating the texture was SO rough. My boyfriend ordered spaghetti and meat balls, his favorite food and he only ate a 1/4 of it because the meatballs were cold n flavor was bland. Maybe it's best to stick to pizza at this place. Service was ok. It took our waitress three reminders to get a refill and 30 min. To get our dessert but it was busy so that wasn't really a big deal. If you want good Italian food don't go here.
Great ambience. Was greeted with a smile by the Hostess. We had the creamy artichoke dip and each had a gigantic slice during happy hour - great prices for slices and all items in general!! My only complaint is our waitress was not adept at multi-tasking...she was cute, young but very very very (did I say very) SLOW and didn't have the ability to read body language that screamed "hey, we are ready to leave". I am patient when it comes to receiving my check, but I had to be somewhere and had to ultimately walk over to her and ask for our bill. I will most definitely be back as the location is great, ambience is very cool, food was delicious, prices were reasonable (great happy hour), and will give the service another try.
What a pleasant experience! The server was very helpful and the food was great. Nice spot for a family or a low pressure evening with a lady.
If you are in Weat Seattle and hungry for Italian food, Talaricos is where you want to go. There slices of pizza are lage, hot and the best in the south sound.
We always have fun there! Love the pizza.
Spinach lasagna always outstanding! Service, always outstanding! Love Talarico's, a West Seattle gem!
a new pizza recipe is needed....small details like sliced fresh mozzerella on the margharita pizza would be nice...not sliced processed mozz....the service was outstanding. Our server and all staff were great. ...food....mediocre.
Bartenders are easy on the eyes!
Pizza is delicious!
We took our young friend and her visiting mother into Talarico's for cold beer on tap and one of the best (& biggest!) pizza slices we've ever eaten. The thin crust, savory sauce and just the right amount of cheese make this place our favorite for pizza. One slice is all we need because it's the size of two. We recommend starting with a cold pint and their newly-added polenta sticks with dipping sauces. Low light ambience make it a great place to linger and engage friends in conversation.
The restaurant is dark and has weird decor. Partly Chinese, partly pub.
Service was slow.
You don't go to Talarico's for a quiet evening! Had a great time with our group of 7. Pizza was great as usual and service was good. We left when Karaoke started though. :)
Talaricos is an awesome place to eat, drink and do trivia on Wednesdays. It has a warm atmosphere for all occasions.
The friends we're staying with in West Seattle had been planning to check out this place, which is just a few blocks from their home, since moving here more than five years ago, so when I suggested we eat there, they were game.
I like the space: it has a huge bar in the middle, surrounded by a few tables, and then a lot of very high-backed booths--they feel very private. The friends who were drinking liked the speciality drinks they tried.
I had a salad with dried cherries and blue cheese that was sheer delight. I followed that with the chicken parmesan, which also was great. I had a side of broccolini, which isn't difficult to prepare, but it was cooked perfectly. In other words, every part of my meal was good.
My partner had the
Huge portions of food. Good service. Very very loud the night we were there. We literally had to shout across the table to one another. This was on a Wed night. Fun place but don't expect a quiet dining experience.
