Always a favorite and they never miss. From cocktails to entrees, always delicious.
We are repeat customers at this restaurant, because the entrees are never disappointing. We were greeted promptly, shown to our table, the service was quite satisfactory, the entrees very tasty. Thanks, and we'll be back when we are in the area.
Wonderful food. Fusion, unique, upscale without being overly exotic. Great service. Ambiance lacking, and noisy due to a private party going on in the bar area, but still very lovely. We will drive from Clifton Park for the food again soon!
One of our favorites when visiting the Albany Area. Our server Alexa was excellent.
Celebrated Mom's Birthday, TALA made it a very special celebration. The only down side
was how long it took to get a cocktail. We waited at lease 15 minutes. Alexa our server was doing her very best, seemed like the bar tender needed extra help.
All f our of us enjoyed our meals - the Szechuan CHicken Wings and Onion SOup are both fabulous!
Tala is a great dining experience
Amanda was a wonderful waitress
I just love the atmosphere
It was a great meal and our wait staff was excellent.
Great food, great drinks, good service. A little over priced in my opinion for what it is but over all my experience was good.
Great food. They were very quick to remove the cost of our drinks when our food was delayed. We hadn’t even complained. Sweet waitress and great ambiance!
Food and service were terrific! Would highly recommend it to others.
Our biggest issue was with the temperatures of the food and drinks. We ordered red wines by the glass which were ice cold. My husband’s pasta was cold next to his hot chicken parm. All in all, it wasn’t bad; I think we went in expecting a bit more.
Excellent location for a New Years Eve dinner. It was busy, but our server was very attentive and the food was great.
The staff was excellent and engaged. The food was delightful and delicious.
Everything was awesome.
Fabulous, every drink every dish!
The Onion Soup, which is usually wonderful, was so poor that all four of the people who ordered it sent it back to the kitchen. It had no taste as all - desperately needed stock or something to richen it up.
The rest of the meals were fine, but it was a first for any of us sending something back to the kitchen at Tala. The soups were taken off our check, but we would rather have had great soup and paid for it.
The kale and quinoa salad is always great for lunch. Good service, nice ambience and very convenient location
Food, service and ambiance was amazing!
We dined with friends whom we had not seen in a while. The atmosphere was great, as was the service. We couldn't have asked for a better experience.
We had a lovely meal before the theater, but the live music was a little loud for us. The food was awesome (salmon, and lamb bolognese) and we enjoyed it, but avoid Thursdays are live music and it’s loud.
Best Bolognese I have ever eaten ! Their lamb Bolognese is just fantastic. Everything else our party had was just as good. My wife had huge scallops that were delicious, my sister-in-law had a wonderful halibut dish. The bread was warm and fresh obviously home made as well. Great cocktails as well.First time I ‘ve had dinner here after many lunches ,very impressed.
We were greeted right away and were seated, which was nice. Our server was delayed a bit, but once he arrived, attended to our needs very well. The entrees were great, cooked just like we ordered, very tasty. We'll be back.
Our meals and our service were very good. They were out of most Pinot Noir selections on the wine list which was unexpected. Also, the handicap access was partially blocked outside but we were still able to get by.
The waiter, Justin was outstanding and knowledgeable and friendly. Do not lose that guy.
Great location for a business meal/meeting. Enough space for discussions. Had a family seated next to us and not once was it disruptive. Great service.
Was there with a group of five to celebrate a friend's birthday. The service was exceptional. Attentive yet unobtrusive and we had a very long, leisurely dinner.
We had great service from Savanna. She keep it moving, I was there with some Korean business associates and they had an very nice time.
One of the thought she was, and I quote, gorgeous. So much so he drank a Drink he didn't like because she recommended it. Priceless.
We chose to sit outside on the patio because the weather was perfect, and saw the special, fish n' chips delivered to another guest. It looked so good, so we ordered that, and it was so good! A very generous portion. The server was very attentive to our needs. Thank you.
Always great service. Made my birthday dinner very special.
It was great from start to finish. Our server, Justin made the night.
Birthday & farewell dinner
Second time there. Will not be going back. Food quality not great. Service was slow.
I've been to Tala several times and have never been disappointed. This time was dinner for my partner's birthday. They had a "happy birthday" sign on the table and presented a special dessert complete with a
sparkler. The food was delicious and the server was courteous. After dinner, we had drinks at the bar. The noise level is conducive for quiet conversation. The bartender was friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend Tala, especially for weekend brunch.
I brought a friend to Tala on her Birthday. We both had a lovely time. You guys brought out a cute sign and a little ice cream sundae with a sparkler in it. I was impressed at how you made her feel special without embarrassing her like some restaurants tend to do. Food was amazing and I LOVED the decor and atmosphere. I will be returning for sure.
Appetizers were excellent. All four dinners were over cooked. Both steaks tough and overdone. Salmon burger burnt and seafood dish passable.
So good in every area! The food, staff atmosphere were all top notch! Very fair pricing
Always delicious and served well! Savory special that I really enjoyed.
A friend drove by one day and we decided to give it a shot. I ordered the Hummus which was very very bland and the Steak Frites as my main course. My steak was cold, like to the point you could see it was sitting out for a while because it had started to dry out. My wife ordered the Swordfish and it had zero taste and was kinda burnt. Overall I would say we don't need to go back for a second visit.
Sorry to say how disappointed we were during our first visit. Potential to be great is there, but too many mistakes in service and food for our liking. Maybe just a bad night? Not sure, but doubt that we will go back.
