Pretty good but too salty
The food was very good but the waiting was very long and it took a while for them to take our order.
This is our go-to place for Japanese food in Sacramento. It’s fulls of flavor and variety. Even if you re not a fan of Japanese food in general you ll love the exciting flavors If Anthony Bordain was alive I think he s love this place. The waitresses have always been extremely helpful energetic and friendly. Bar service has always been slow but the food comes quickly. Will look forward to going back.
Sit close to the bar. We sat towards the back and service was spotty as our server appeared to be trying to get out early. We arrived at 6pm on a weeknight.
Food was good. Bar was accommodating. Parking easy. Downtown Sac apparently empties out during the week and this place was almost empty but fun.
This is some of the best Japanese food in Sacramento and still feels like a bit of an undiscovered gem. Everything we tried was delicious on both of our visits. And while I’m not into ramen bowls my teenagers have gotten them and they look and taste spectacular. The decor is lovely too. If you want to have a nice dinner out and can’t get a table at Kru, you will not be disappointed coming here instead—it’s that good.
Many dishes from the menu are unique and they taste good! The service is good too, thank you.
