At Takja, we take pride in offering a warm and inviting space where guests can gather with family and friends to experience Korean BBQ. Chefs Jeff Kang & Edward Bang bring their culinary imagination to the table, crafting a menu that celebrates the diverse flavors of Korea. Guests will enjoy fresh seafood and in-house dry-aged meats with a heavy focus on fermentation, along with a carefully curated selection of wines and signature cocktails, which elevate traditional Korean spirits. Located in the West End, Takja offers a cozy and welcoming atmosphere, perfect for experiencing a special memory of a Korean BBQ or just having a good time.

    Unbelievable experience at Takja — from the service staff to management and the chefs, everything was exceptional. The food was incredible — some of the best meat I’ve ever had, and the seafood was fresh and delicious. I’d highly recommend this restaurant to anyone! It’s definitely on the pricier side, so best saved for special occasions. :)

    We went to Takja for my partner’s birthday dinner and we did the “Table full of food” option. Everything from the seafood tower to the BBQ cuts (Wagyu and short rib were glorious) to the dessert, was spectacular. The entire staff was also super kind and attentive, especially our server. Definitely worth the hype.

    Amazing food, amazing service. My sister & I go to COTE and this is pretty much identical. We will definitely be back.

    Took my parents out for a special occasion and Takja did not disappoint! The whole experience was very memorable. From the food to the service, everything was well executed and very much appreciated. Can’t wait to go back! Highly recommend!

    Food quality and service was excellent. Our was very pleasant and friendly. I think at one time the owner came out from the kitchen to say hi, and help cooked our food for us. Food portion was perfect, and it's quality over quantity. The meat was super tasty and not too salty. Overall an excellent dining experiance.

    Fantastic restaurant and a great experience. Service is exceptional and accommodating. Recommendations provided for each course are great and you can tell the staff is passionate about what they do. Have been to Takja twice and both times were equally as good and consistent. Highly recommend. Would not be surprised to see them on many upcoming top restaurant lists in the city.
