Takito Street - Lincoln Park
Staff was more than attentive, food was fire! Chip refill for our still to finish salsa and guacamole and a free taste of a new possible menu item, refried beans with pork belly. Two of us don't eat pork, but we all loved the refried bean side and the other two finished ALL the pork belly. Would order again, without the pork belly. Green Farm and Crispy Fish, both so tasty. The kitchen was on their game Saturday!!
Server was friendly and professional. Food and drinks were very good.
Decent place with outside seating. Really good service and staff.
Nice area and restaurant but waited over 30 mins before anyone came to the table and it wasn’t very busy. The chilaquiles were stale and cold when they arrived.
The portion sizes were a little smaller than expected but the food tasted great and the staff were very attentive. Definitely recommend bottomless mimosas for brunch.
The service was very good. However, the items we ordered were not as described on the menu and bar was not stocked well.
Yakutia Street was amazing… I went for brunch The food was great I had the French toast and my girlfriend had the breakfast burrito they were both very tasty. The Bottomless Mimosas were amazing… they kept’em pouring. The service was great very friendly Amanda took care of us and she very nice and polite! I give Takito 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾thumbs up!
Food & drinks were good. We sat outside, lovely breeze and not terribly noisy! Can’t wait to come back🤗
Food was strange service wasn’t the besy
Fantastic for brunch. The breakfast burrito and bottomless mimosas are a MUST.
Ate on sidewalk so quiet evening. Food was delicious: salmon veracruz and al pastor fajita. Great selection of tequilas. Sweet and conscientious server.
Our favorite spot for brunch didn’t disappoint!!
Service was friendly and had good recommendations! Food and drinks were yummy, my friends and I had a good time. It was a little noisy sitting outside next to the traffic on Lincoln and the other tables were a bit close to us, but the staff was very accommodating to both my group and the dog I bought with us. Will be dining there again soon!
I am typically not the one to complain but everything I wanted to order( I am a vegetarian) was out and I got a rice bowl with vegetables and the cost was $17 but rice was uncooked!!! We complained to our server and he was nice enough to remove the charge. I was not happy with our experience at all and it was my fiancé’s birthday!!
Atmosphere was wonderful and fun. Food was mildly decent but the drinks were enjoyable and a good place to go to go with friends!
Food was great but small portions. Service could’ve been better, but was hard to hear over the noise. I got the skirt steak tacos which were delicious just would’ve loved a bigger portion. My friend got the takito bowl, and I guess the recipe changed and she got served the new recipe vs. what we read on menu but she said it was still good. Loved the giveaways as we went on Cinco de Mayo. Margs were delicious.
Service was terrible. After being seated it took Almost 30 mins for someone to come back and take our order. The drink was horrible, and server kept disappearing
A very challenging experience from start to finish. While the food was good, I can say that service, from host to server, left something to be desired.
Honestly, I’ve been incredibly scaled back on my expectations in the pandemic knowing everyone is doing the best they can and trying to adapt to a changing situation. Even so, Takito street failed to even deliver on lowered expectations. The service was atrocious to the point where I had to get up to FIND out server more than once. We were told we had a time limit at our table which fortunately they did not enforce (youd have to be engaged and paying attention in order to do so) as it would have been impossible to have drinks, appetizers, entrees ordered, enjoyed, and cleared with the pace of our service. I would have complained to a manager but did not see anyone who appeared to be running the show at any time there. A huge shout out to the food runner/bus boy, who appeared to be the most efficient, on the ball and engaged. Food was good, but this place is really overpriced for what you’re getting and the other options in the city - especially for drinks. Very disappointing.
Food & drinks were good! Our server, Vanessa was very helpful.
This place is awesome. The food is great as well as the service. Great energy, and good drinks too. Will definitely
It was great our server showed us exemplary service
Girls night out!
Food was awesome! Service was a lil slow and the place was crowded. I think the tables were too close together to be socially responsible. I don't expect the place to be empty but clearly there is an expectation to be responsible.
Good service. Good food. Good value. Veronica was our server and she was great!
We were on our way to another restaurant, and happened upon this place by accident. Boy were we lucky! The atmosphere is fun, a bit funky, and upbeat with a trendy decor and a cool vibe. Our server was super attentive, even with several other patrons. He offered his personal suggestions, which we happily ordered. To start, we had the guacamole with grilled pineapple which was literally the best we had ever had. Rich and creamy, topped with chile spiced pineapple. The chips were just perfect. We also had the Esquites (roasted street corn) which had a deep, roasted, sort of smoky flavor, and was fantastic! FOr our meal, we ordered tacos; skirt steak and fish. Seriously the best taco's ever. Had we not been so full, we would have ordered more. It was early, and I was driving an hour and a half back home after, so we I did not have a drink. But our server offered samples of their famous margaritas (Cucumber and Pineapple) which were quite tasty. I should also mention, we ate on Good Friday, at 4:45. We were finished with our meal and walking out the door by 5:30. The service was fast! We are already planning a trip back here so I can actually have an entire one. And more of their amazing food! Trust me, if you want an incredible meal, with great service, tasty drinks and a cool atmosphere, Takito Street is a must!
The burrito was okay, it was cold when I got it. Having worked in the food industry, I'm not one to send something back unless it's really not good. The burrito was okay though, but overall, I would go back.
Food was average. Tacos were good but chips and salsa, esquites and guac was average. Tables were very close together which made us uncomfortable
The ambiance was good, the food tasted pretty good too! But for the price I wouldn’t say the food was worth it. It was pretty far from traditional, and definitely overpriced. $6 for half filled chips and salsa is kind of hilarious.
Brunch menu was limited and pretty uninspiring. However, it was $12 for bottomless mimosas, so it's still a steal.
The food was just ok, they ran out of onions, the frozen margarita machine was broken and the potatoes were subpar. The french toast was good and I'd say the best thing was the bottomless mimosas
live for the $12 bottomless mimosas.
Horrible food. Not fresh. Dinner came in 3 minutes of ordering and it was not busy. Not sure why this place has so many stars.
Server forgot about us . She didn’t bring the beverages until after our appetizers were served and main course started. And still reminded us our reservation was for 90min. And one of the ladies stall lock was broken. Only one toilet open for the whole place to use.
Horrible Experience. Really disappointing because I live very close and wanted a good taco place. I went for my friends birthday and we had a reservation at 7:15 on a Friday. We were the only table in the back room. An HOUR later, we still hadn't even received water at our table while the rest of the room was filled and every other table had received service. After an hour, we asked the hostess for help and she said "I don't know" and then ran into the kitchen. We know the servers knew of our table because we saw them literally pointing at our table from the server station. The table next to us, which was seated a half hour after us, received service from two different waitresses. We had to order all of our food and drinks together. The chips and salsa, a round of shots, and our margarita's (which were very good) didn't come until after our entree's...how does that make any sense at a taco place. One of our friends drink never came and it was the same order as the rest of ours. The food was good but certainly not worth being the frustration of going there.
Breakfast burrito was great, especially with a few mimosas!
Great food and drinks. Casual atmosphere. Highly recommend.
Good food and drinks, great atmosphere.
Had such a good time!! Will be back!
Great atmosphere and excellent service
