Finally, a place in Wicker Park that takes brunch reservations! Takito is a cozy and delicious spot for brunch or dinner. The service was awesome! Everyone was friendly and ensure our mimosa glasses never hit the bottom... I recommend the breakfast tacos!

Service was great. I pushed back my reservation twice, they were very accommodating. Menu was a little on the pricey side.

Hands down the best tacos and margaritas in Chicago - and you'd never know the menu is entirely gluten free (yes, even the crispy fish tacos)!

First time here! Joseph our waiter was welcoming and accommodating from the start! He recommended awesome menu picks and he really went above and beyond to make my husband's birthday extra special!!!! He offered him a free double margarita and gave us all dessert at the end of our dinner. He informed us of two big parties that were soon going to place their orders and now was the time to get in our order! How attentive!!! We loved everything on the menu and the tamarind cilantro margarita was so awesome!!! Will definitely come back!!! I spoke to the manager on site and told her about the awesome experience we had and that we would definitely be coming back and requesting Joseph as our waiter!!!!

Saturday brunch with friends. Highly recommend the $10 bottomless mimosas because they are made at a generous ratio and your glass is never empty! Very cool spot that is authentic but not trying too hard. Food was fantastic and our waiter was very knowledgeable about their menu and could make great recommendations. Manager came and talked to the table and was very personable. Thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Takito Kitchen!

Food was great. This was my second time visiting so we tried some new items from the brunch menu. Lychee Margarita was good but the michelada was ok. Service was not as attentive as my first visit but still friendly. I will definitely return for the chicken tacos. The hibiscus tortillas are my new fave.

Takito Kitchen was simply amazing about accommodating our large dinner party (15 people). They were super helpful when I called multiple times over the weekend to update the party size. Our waitress was great - I wish I had her name. She did an awesome job of checking in on us and making sure we always had everything we needed. The food was really good too. Would definitely recommend.

Awesome service and great all you can drink mimosas for $10! The food was a great deal and very good, upscale Mexican. A great deal for the price! The server never let out mimosas go empty which was a huge plus, he was also super nice and entertaining.

Amazing, completely gluten free menu. They do serve beer, that would include gluten. But their kitchen, besides drinks is gluten free.

I believe the menu changes often, when you look on their website, the menus are not always updated and we did see some changes to what we saw online.

To start, we had the tasting platter of salsa, 3 different salsa's for $9. The only downfall is that I don't think they give you enough chips for the amount of salsa you receive and it was $0.50 to have additional chips.

For dinner, we tried two different tacos: the skirt steak, which was extremely tender; and a coffee braised beef barbacoa, which was an amazing blend of flavors. We were required to order two of each type taco, so if you were alone or didn't want to share, it may be more difficult to order (may not get enough/ get too many). The tacos were on the smaller size, but for two adults that were not extremely hungry, two tacos were perfect in addition to the salsa.

The tacos are fantastic, delicious and beautiful. The service is prompt and cheerful. Our only problem was the wine selection. It was pretty bad with nothing I really wanted. The restaurant is now more cocktail and tequila focused I was told. So why not have a byow policy and charge for corkage? It would have made our dining experience much better.

We had a great time at Takito Kitchen. We went for Sunday brunch with a group of 6 and sat outside at one of the picnic tables. We were excited for the $5 bloody Mary's and the $10 bottomless mimosas which did not disappoint! The food was delicious (I had the tomato omelette and it was fluffy and filled with yummy bites of juicy tomatoes and cheese), the drinks were great - even the coffee had a special touch with some cinnamon cream.
We had an amazing, flavor-filled meal with great service and a charming setting -- and we didn't spend an arm and a leg.
For sure recommend - I'll 100% be back!

The menu is great- Different combos I have not seen many places. Completely gluten free kitchen. Hibiscus, corn & sesame tortillas were very nice. We had wonderful service from Javi. We will be back for $10 bottomless mimosas and the brunch menu!

The value is not terrible, but you must order (2) tacos PER taco selection at least. You cannot get (3) individually different tacos. If you want to try three of their tacos... you have to purchase 6 tacos- 2 of each. I do not like this. This could prevent me from coming back. Not a deal breaker, but quite inconvenient if you are dining with 2 people and want to explore the menu.

The margaritas, however, are delicious. Happy hour is 1/2 off Margaritas- that value is thru the roof.

Sat outside, very disorganized & slow service and loud from bar next door. Hostess checked me in as I was reserved. Then called me 25 minutes later to ask where I was after she seated outside me herself. I have always had better than good service on weeknights.
I won't go again on a weekend.

Fantastic service and margaritas. Enjoyed the fish and beef tacos but the chicken tasted like the grease it was soaked in. Salsas were all decent but they did not have any "normal" salsas or quacamole.

Excellent margaritas and food! The menu is not overwhelming, yet offers variety and fresh ingredients. Everyone loved the avocado pine nut purée vs traditional guacamole, and the fresh tortilla chips were a wonderful touch. Tacos were delicious and not greasy, which is a HUGE plus. Overall 5 stars and definitely double your margarita for Happy Hour!

First time and it was great. The good is very flavorful, portions are small but tasty. Drinks during happy hour were great, size of them is a concern...more ice than drink. Overall, great place. I will visit again, prepared with more cash. Mario, the owner, very nice and genuine fella.
Thank you.
