   My husband and I are always in search of great Thai food in Phoenix and over the years we’ve found a few places that delivered on quality but Takeda Thai really delivered! The food was both delicious and excellent! The sauce for the potstickers was probably some of the most flavorful sauce I’d ever had for such perfectly cooked dumplings. I had the Garlic Lovers entrée and my husband had the Thai Basil entrée. The flavors the cook managed to fuse together made every bite an absolute delight. The coconut ice cream is dairy free and amazing! We definitely plan to go back and try other items that caught our eye. We had a few drinks and overall think the pricing was reasonable. The server was friendly and knowledgeable.

   No wait staff to speak of. Waited 25 minutes and finally went to bar myself to get drinks. Also turned in our order at the bar. Have had good food here in the past, but just fair tonight. Will have to think hard about coming back.

   Food was really good except for the Wonton soup. Service was lacking, but picked up after we finally ordered. Disappointed they didn't have fresh Thai chiles. (they use dried to spice their dishes.) All in all, it was good.

   The food was excellent and the service was very friendly and responsive. A personal visit from Moulay was an added bonus. We always enjoy Takeda Thai and this trip was no different. We will be back any time Thai food comes up on the menu. Thank you Moulay and staff.

   It was freezing (heating system was broken unfortunately) and spice levels were geared to people who snack on habaneros like peanuts - but had we ordered with less heat, I think it would have been really good, as the underlying flavors were great.

   After reading many positive reviews at this site and others, we decided to give Takeda Thai a try. It's in one of the least attractive shopping centers in Scottsdale. The prices were extremely high, the ambience and service average. We do think the chef is skilled and will give it at least one more try. I don't know why greater Phoenix can't just embrace the concept of thai cuisine as it is throughout much of the U.S. They seem to want to put their own spin on it here, not to anyone's credit.

   We arrived at our reserved time 9:30 We were greeted and told they closed at 9 We were seated and pushed thru dinner so server could leave Don’t think we’ll return

    For years we have been searching for our "go to" Thai food restaurant. We think we may have found it. Takeda Thai has been great results the last three visits. I recommend you all give them a try. I am sure you will love the experience. Sawasdee
