   Although the food came out quick and tasted ok, the service was below par. It took a while for our order to be taken and fulfilled. It was apparent that other tables were getting more attentive service from the same waiter than what we received. We noticed the waiter offering top service to other tables, but the waiter never came back to the table to ask if we needed anything. As a result of the poor service, I will not return.

   As close to authentic Japanese that I’ve had. It was excellent with great patio view of the ocean.

   Food, service, atmosphere all 10/10. We were visiting from Boston and I will dream about the takato ribs until we come back to Ft. Lauderdale and eat at Takato again. The ice cream sushi was also soo good & was on the house for our anniversary which was super kind & thoughtful. Definitely our best meal while visiting FL. Will be back again for sure!

   As always, Takato never disappoints. Amazing food and service. Standouts were the tuna tartar and wagyu sliders. Can’t wait to go back!

   Food courses came out too fast more leisurely presentation Give the customers more time to enjoy each dish Don’t overwhelm them.

    Th food was good. The service was okay. We chose to sit outside, however when our food arrived we were attacked by a swarm of flies. They need to do some type of treatment to the outside areas to prevent so many flies. The server didn’t seem to happy when we asked him to move our table because of the flies.
