A Filipino food forward offering to the funky and vibrant Darlinghurst.

Takam’s philosophy is about #filipinofoodforward which showcases to their culture, nostalgia and passion for the traditional flavours and techniques of Filipino cuisine, but delivers in a elavated, harmonious and personalized manner. Takam are also inspired by the native Australian produce at Sydney’s doorstep, using native ingredients in their traditional cuisine and honouring both, will be at their forefront. A hybrid concept bought to life from lifelong friends, Francis Dela Cruz, Aileen Aguirre and Lesley Roque.

We had dinner at Takam Restaurant last night, and the food was amazing! Highly recommended to try the sinugba with achara the smoky flavors were delicious—and the ensalada was so refreshing. Great experience overall!🤍

Incredible Filipino food! We went here for my partner’s birthday and we couldn’t have asked for more. Definitely recommend the turon cocktail.

Have no words how great this Filipino restaurant is! So far, this is the only Filipino food/restaurant who actually serves and know their Filipino flavours without going overboard. Will definitely come back!

We had a great time at Takam, the service was great with really friendly and personal staff. The food was incredible, it lifted traditional pinoy food to the next level!! The cocktails were also a must try. The Ube Espresso Martini is a must try!!

Takam is an unmissable dining experience! Beautifully curated, elevated takes on classic filipino dishes prepared and served with love and care by an amazing team! The marriage of indigenous Australian and Filipino ingredients is done in in such an elegant and creative way, and each item is thoughtfully explained by the team - the passion for the Filipino culture and cuisine really shines through and we always feel truly taken care of! Everything on the menu is amazing and I can’t wait to return!

Such a lovely restaurant for elevated Filipino food. Have been coming here with friends and family since they were only open downstairs and can’t help but keep coming back for more. The Ube thick shake is a must try. The staff are always incredibly warm and welcoming also!
