The origins of South Bank’s newest Asian dining experience are steeped rich in history, honouring traditions in Chinese and South East Asian cuisines. Our restaurant is proudly named after the owner’s ancestral great, great grandmother who was, as the title refers to, Tai Tai.

Our location in the heart of South Bank makes Tai Tai one of Brisbane’s most popular restaurants to dine at before a film, show at QPAC or conference at Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre. We welcome and encourage walk-ins, however limited number of tables are available to book in advance.

We really enjoyed our lunch today, the lunch special of sweet and sour barramundi for $25 was sensational! And loved the Wooden Dragon Cocktail, absolutely delicious!

Excellent as always, we always have a lovely meal at Tai Tai. We were going to a show at QPac afterwards and they had our meal out very quickly. Thank you again for a wonderful night.

Food is delicious and freshly prepared. Can not recommend highly enough for beautiful food, great serving staff and food delivered in a timely manner. Great pre theatre location.
