   La comida es buena y los cócteles son de lo mejor! El servicio, aunque no es malo, deja mucho que desear. Los he visitado en otras ocasiones y sé que el menú no es fijo, sin embargo me pareció que tenían muchas menos opciones que en anteriores visitas, esperaba encontrar más platillos con mole. Tardaban mucho en llevarnos cosas que solicitábamos y en ocasiones debíamos volver a pedirlas, incluso a un mesero diferente. Nos cargaron el 18% de servicio sin previo aviso.

   I loved every minute of our experience at Tahona. The food and cocktails were absolutely delicious and the setting beautiful and peaceful. Our hostess Sochi made sure we would enjoy everything. We learned a lot about mezcal during our tasting from Ivan and were surprised by the pairings. This first stop on our wine route trip set the bar high.

   We booked a mezcal tasting for 2 at Tahona and the ambiance and service was beyond exceptional. Xochi went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. The food and drinks were amazing and her recommendations blew us away! The drink we received from the mixologist at the speakeasy was phenomenal. The man (I regret that we forgot his name) that did the mezcal tasting was very knowledgeable and super personable. I recommend doing the tasting, even the grasshoppers were divine! I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. We will definitely be back soon! Thank you so much to Xochi for such a great experience! Five stars all around!!

   Iván was a fantastic host and has a deep knowledge of mezcal history, production and a keen sense of what pairs well with the different mezcals and tequilas! We laughed so hard in the sun together, it was truly a magical experience!

   I would not recommend getting there too early, they opened late and were not ready to take on any people, they had no tables or chairs out even though we had a paid reservation weeks in advance. However the lady that served us was very sweet and I could tell she did her best to make up for the lack of professionalism. We have been here in the evening and the location is much more beautiful, I loved the Mezcal tasting on the ship and ended up buying a bottle over all I think we spent about $250.00 here and the quality and service makes the experience well worth it, just be sure to visit later in the day or evening/night. Also just so you know El Tigre Oculto is not a hidden speak easy it is just seating at their bar in the common area which was also disappointing.

   I was really looking forward to this place for our anniversary dinner and I would say the food, drinks, ambiance and service did not disappoint! We let our server be our good on what to order for food - the Grilled Tomahawk - and the cocktails were great. My boyfriend loved his Tahona Old Fashioned. The only negative is that a $50 deposit was required for our reservation but this was not credited to our bill (at least not that we could determine, there was some translation issues since we do not speak Spanish). I have emailed the restaurant multiple times to confirm whether this was applied or to receive a refund of the deposit and have never heard back. I can't find a way to call from the US. I would be sure to mention this during your meal.

    Me decepcionó el lugar, la comida no fue precisamente lo que esperaba, fue regular hay otros cien lugares donde la preparan mucho mejor y los precios no son razonables para lo que ofrecen. Los cócteles no son para todos los gustos. Y el servicio es pésimo

    Really great concept. Reminds me very much of Tulum but in the hills of Baja. The service was exceptional. Sochi was very attentive. The presentation of the food and the flavors were top-notch. I would truly love to return during "season" to see this location in all its glory.

    Arribamos Justo a la hora de apertura por lo que no se encontraba lleno, la comida es buena, el lugar es precioso, no tenían terminal ese día y no se nos dijo antes de pedir, siempre salimos con efectivo pero de no haber sido así, no se que hubiésemos echo. 7/10

    My family and me assisted to the New Year event. Everything was perfect, the food, drinks and staff attention was awesome . We start the night with a Welcome shot of mezcal and they show us the right way to drink mezcal and enjoy it.

    The customer service was very nice and helpful in suggesting new items. I tried the empanadas which are now my favorite empanadas from anywhere. The tomahawk is my favorite! I took it to go and didn’t want the delicious food to go to waste.

    The restaurant is beautiful, when we arrive they ask us what was the occasion and we say it was a birthday, the hostess was nice. Our server gave a poor service in every single way, and we even have to stand up and request 3 times the birthday cake to the manager, when we were about to give up and leave, they arrive with a brownie a 1/4 of an ice cream scoop. All of the tables were English speaking and they didn’t have English menus and our server didn’t spoke English or even try to get help he just stood there saying and doing nothing like. The place is amazing, the food is good and the service terrible.

    This is a beautiful romantic spot. The atmosphere is lovely and the modern/rustic decor combines for an awesome ambiance. The menu is thoughtfully crafted and provides you the option to taste mezcal in many different ways. This is a special place and I would return for a date night, or with friends and family.

    The gorgeous setting, perfect music, full moon and AWESOME service made our evening at Tahona. The food was and cocktails were good enough, but not what makes this place stand out.     Tahona Baja was mystical. Must reserve for the Mezcal tasting on the boat. Don't miss out on the delicious food and crafted cocktails. Allow 2-3 hours here to enjoy the mezcal, food and grounds. 8 adults and 4 children were part of our party and everyone enjoyed the this stop in valle de guadalupe. The kids were able to explore and allowed them to be inspired with a sense of spiritual mystery, awe and fascination.

    We were here for my father’s 70th birthday. We have big group (14: 10 adults and 4 kids). Food taste good and in a timely manner. Out host Was friendly and tentative to our need.. would definitely come back!
